I thought he had done his homework, unlike Mr. Creed who wants to have every doorbell, bicycle bell, church bell & just about everything else ringing for 3 minutes as loud and as fast as possible at 8 in the morning! I thought it was wonderfully put together.He even tried handling a bell himself and went to a carillon too.... well researched; also to the bell foundry which was fascinating
watched this program twice so far. would have loved to have been in cambridge the day this was done.the sound of the hand bells is truly beautiful.well done all involved !
Recorded the whole programme and even though I've watched it several times I still got goose-bumps when they 'fire' the church bells at the end of the piece. Sadly lost the recording so many thanks to uploader.
