PSA: since DE forgot to add a marker for the drops from the mini bosses. Please remember to waypoint if you’re the one that lands the final blow on the mini boss so everyone can get the drop.
Also remember the mini-bosses ALWAYS drop an arcane, just that it can be stuck in the walls, roof or floor. So Hug the area around where you killed the book if you dont find the module drop.
This was hotfixed to show way point now
I always had a waypoint, the only issue is finding the damn book.
Edit: sometimes i do not get the extraction waypoint, goodluck finding the exit.
0:44 remember that mercy kills also are considered finishers so it applies to Melee Crescendo :D
As of Abyss of Dagath, ground finishers now function like other finishers for both dealing true damage and proccing "on finisher" effects like Arcane Ultimatum, and therefore (hopefully, I haven't been able to test yet) Melee Crescendo as well, making it even more accessible!
Tip from me:
Don't play the Netracell quest on Steel Path difficulty! On normal the enemies have Lv200+- and that's far less stressful. The rewards are the same, so it's not worth it.
I didn't know this before solo all 5, if I knew I could just load in base starchart difficulty it woulda saved me a lot of time.
Hotfix today said a Netracell Steel Path difficulty was never intended.

The nechamech on the netra cell is the hardest stuff i fought in a long time in wf... had constant bombardment of corrosive and viral with1st ability augment on hydroid and used my destreza prime with 11.5x crit multiplyer and still took several minutes to kill it
Melee Crescendo with Excal radial blind could be very interesting.
Melee Exposure with the melee mod that adds radiation could be funny to see how many damage types can you stack.
Melee Fortification + Arcane Reaper + Valkyr Prime or Rhino Prime also seems like it could be pretty funny.
crescendo works with ash to, his 4th ability is a finisher
Too bad you can't put melee arcanes on exalts, because DE
@@kalebdavis7080 they still work on exalteds though right? Isnt the +6 initial combo per finisher applied to all melee, including exalteds?
@@kalebdavis7080 doesn't matter as long as you use your melee as a stat stick
@@kalebdavis7080Why would you need to? They use the arcane on your main melee. Of course you can't put one on an exalted, then you would have the effects of two at once.
I’m curious if Melee Crescendo procs from Ash’s Bladestorm kills like the on finisher Warframe arcanes do
I didn't know that was a thing with Ash
But that's mostly because I don't have any "on finisher" arcanes. Or barely _any_ arcanes for that matter
I may get 'Melee Fortification' because I am making a Tanky Paladin Druid Oberon that is melee based that grabs aggro with 'Guardian Derision' which helps me refresh my energy with a rage build using 'Hunter's Adrenaline'.
Melee Crescendo looks like an absolute win for every Ash Enjoyer. :D
Definitely! Im gonna love ash more than i already do if i ever get a set. It only drops from the netracell mission, has a low drop rate and you only get 5 tries a week. 0 on 1st week for me
Melee Crescendo has a bit of an issue on most missions. You will rarely make use of it's bonuses on normal missions. Only useful for endurance missions and Circuit

I noticed the book was easier to kill with amps, maybe they are weaker to it idk(I was using fully buffed nataruk and the amp did more dmg)
Amps deal void dmg which is for all intensive purposes true damage.

I think it's the amount of hits, it goes down fast when I shoot it with my Strun Prime
Some members of the squad got the arcane drop from the whispers and others didn't. Not sure if it's a bug or a random chance per player
It’s definitely a bug I think it’s related to distance from how far you are from where it spawned. In most of my runs so far I have been the one to initiate the Miniboss and the ones where the second part of the boss spawns over 600m away and someone else in the party finished it I haven’t gotten a drop.
Iv seen countless of people not realizing this, but in certain locations the arcane will spawn not on the floor like you expect but rather up above the killspot, trapped in the wall. This leads to people thinking its not a guaranteed drop, which it absolutely is. Hopefully De fix that soon - as well as auto waypoint the drop or part wide pickup, like the medallions
For the next 2 hours there's an active bounty to defeat the whisper, quick and easy couple of minutes farm.

I have a slash viral heat kronen prime. I'm curious what would happen if I had melee exposure to it. I can imagine the insane armor strip 😂
Got it on there haven’t maxed the arcane though.
I kicked out primed reach for more damage and got myself a magnetic heat build for the Vortex arcane. 18m draw distance is more than double my range even with a riven equipped. Also the combo counter explodes with so many enemys around, you could think about replacing a combo duration mod
The critical chance on heavy sounds like Kullervo stonks
Is it even possible to catch up again? A long time ago i was top of the chain, killing eidelons alone with the dragon and a sniper.. but now?
Yes, it's easy to catch up. Just get the incarnon weapons and you're mostly back. Might take a couple of months for other things.
Melee duplicate looks interesting but does it not work if you were to orange or red crit?
I believe it only works on yellow crits
Correct it says base crit(yellow by default) in the patch notes under the arcane itself
What the 2 people above me said is correct, yellow crits only. Definetly geared towards helping out melee weapons that struggle real hard at going above 100% critical chance.
I was hoping melee duplicate would work better. My fave melee has 250% cc so it will hardly ever proc
The intended use / obvious synergy is with melee weapons that cap out at around 100 crit chance. At 225% it never procs and you then have other arcanes that work really for you in another way. Melee duplicate is incredbiel - I can't wait to rank it up some more
I need to try Crescendo on Baruuk with ceramic dagger. Use Lull to sleep then finish shouldn't take much to get from 9x to 12x
Which ones works with Exodia contagion zaws, its always hard to check what synergizes with it

I'd imagine it stacks. It's be extremely weak if it does and it's a legendary arcane too
My concern with duplicate is it ONLY procs on yellow crits. Which means in order to double dip you basically have to build so you never stray too far from 100% crit. Anything lower or higher greatly diminishes its value.

DE really dropped the ball with Melee Arcanes it seems..
Is there a way to increase the Legendary Melee Arcane drops? For instance, When you are doing the Necracells and you find the Grimoire, will defeating that Whisper add an additional Legendary drop or is that just the drop table without the Legendaries.
Its disappointing that melee duplicate and melee crescendo are ONLY from the 5 times a week thing and at random. It'll take around 2 years to get a set! Plus melee duplicate only effects yellow crits! I NEED crescendo for a certain ash build
I was having trouble killing stuff in the netracells but then I switched to the laetum and then I couldn't find enough stuff to kill

I like to use mercy kill Speed mod on my parazon Just because of the crescendo, and this mod stacks with Ash ultimate aswell

So with Retaliation, Overshields would be bad because you'd "only" get 210% on say Hildryn since she pretty much always has Overshields up?
I think is every 200 shields and every 400 overshields up to the total percentage, but DE is obviously convoluted writing

3/10 have been shards, 1 tauforged on the 5th. I got Melee Crescendo on the 5th this week. Could just be RNG but maybe there's some anti get fucked code in play?
How many times can you run these per week? I see archon shards there, so I'd assume maybe more than a few chances for tau jolly ranchers

Bad news for Tagfer, I actually support Albrecht's decision. While it's not confirmed why he gave up on Tagfer, there is only two possible reasons for it, and one of them is the fact that Tagfer's mate or himself may be infertile, which means that their species would 100% be doomed regardless. That the most probable reason as to why they were both ,"Tagged for disposal"

Is the 5 netracell missions the only way to “farm” the arcanes and the vender? How I get to these “side bosses” and 6 eyes ? I’ve only did netracell ?

so for melee duplicate it has to be a yellow critting melee weapon it cant do anything higher for it to work?
Literally says base crit, which means just that - base, meaning yellow
@@Psycorde sir since i have been playing i have literally never in my life heard someone call a yellow crit a base crit thats why i had confusion. even friends were thinking it was the base crit chance of the weapon.
What about Vocas? Sometimes I see them getting tagged or there's a waypoint for them.

When you see the waypoint for them, it is from a landing craft power, used via an item on your gear wheel (landing craft beacon? Strike beacon? Sorry totally brainfarting on the name atm, and at work) it has a 3 min cooldown, so can't be spammed too much, but multiple people can run it in a mission and spread it out as it has a limited range (though a pretty large one at that)
@@furiouskaiser9914it has a three hundred metre range. And they’re called Air Support Charges, while the name of the specific ability you’re referring to is called “Orokin Eye” (Golden Instinct is the Helminth ability)

The boss in the new Assassination also drops the melee arcanes. Nothing special to do... pop the boss, he can drop one.

Welp, melee arcanes is bugged with exalted melees, they didnt work, which they should.
Like mesa have secondary outbust from epitaph.
I killed the Book mini Boss 6 times allready and not once got a singel drop.
Is there some kind of bug?
The drop happens after it is killed at the second location, not where you first fight him. Yes the system is wonky right now and DE REALLY needs to waypoint the drop. A lot of the time in pugs right now some members of the team will hang back attacking the first form after the first stage is done, even tho it is invincible at this point, and one or two people will figure it out that they need to move to the marked second location to finish the kill. But due to lack of communication and understanding of the fight mechanics, those that stayed behind or were away from the fight will more then likely miss out on the loot drop. So for now, until DE fixes it, if you get to the second location and kill the minibusses and get the drop, do you teammates a solid and drop a waypoint on the loot :)

I now know it what was wrong.
The Loot glitches VERY often under the floor so you cant see it.
You have to move around the near area till you find it at random. Works for me.

The melee duplicate god teir its gonna take a wile befor sone one gets a fully lvled one but it's so good , I have one and just that 25 percent is crazy when it works

People hear yellow crits and get disgusted, not realizing that the duplicate hit is a true duplicate, with completely independent scaling and re-rolls all damage, meaning it's double dipping double dips from roar or banes, it's insane.
@lux7849 bought em from people for 50p each, managed to make 3 r5 that way and sold 2 for 3k each lol
@meowxeno absolutely man, build for 100% crit drop blood rush and go for pure damage I'm getting double 1 mill crits, they may be yellow but there's 2 of em and they are spicy

They really should just add the Legendary arcanes to the regular arcane pool...or if the Grimoire boss does indeed drop them, then that's fine
Yes, they are overpowered, but there is NO other way to get them and you only get 5 chances a week. Like c'mon.

i get you with most of them but duplicate is insane it legit makes your melee weapon op af even without a great build hitting twice with basicly every crit hit is legit disgusting strong
These missions are pretty easy though once I joined randoms who were in steel path {I wasn't in steel path myself) and they were getting downed quite often I also noticed much harder enemies at the time it was my first attempt and didn't realize it was steel path. I went to my second run and it was actually normal I was really confused about how easy it was. Also steelpath here is definitely pointless the rewards are the same.

One of them adds 240% corrosive to all melee attacks just for casting any ability a few times

So that electricity one apparently does infinite damage with exodia force and garuda. The corrosive one is also godly on khora and the 420% melee crit for heavy arcane is amazing on kullervo. I love this update

Bruh this mini bosses, no, even some normal enemies in this mode have more health and damage resistance than a archon.

with a 45% and my unlucky ass, yeah i think so; doesnt need to be magnetic damage kill so its actually good

The whispers bosses have a chance to drop arcanes, they appear in the netracell missions and are not the source of the mission's primary rewards. You can get a shard from the mission rewards and an arcane drop from the whispers in the same run.
The whispers always drop an arcane they just sometimes drop 30 feet in the air and is not the rewards he was talking about for the netracells as those don't drop shards or the legendary arcanes
