It’s that time of year when northern hemisphere RUclipsrs are teaching me hearty winter meals and it going to be 37 C most of the week here in Australia. I made this last year in winter to good effect.
Malcolm Lewis 😁😁 I can imagine the effect it must have. I actually feel the same but reverse when looking at Australian RUclipsrs posting fresh Summer Salads 😶!! I am glad that you have tried this dish though, it is amazing ❤🖒

Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
Yes, I am aware of this mistake. It is stated correctly at the end of the video and in my description. Unfortunately, RUclips doesn't give me the option to make any change in my video. Thank you for noticing it, I hope people will see the video till the end
The recipe is written in the video. But if you need it in text (also printable), you can find it together with 420 other recipes, in my Website. Here is the link: www.greekcookingmadeeasy.com/allrecipes/stifado-greek-beef-stew?rq=Stifado
Stifado ( stufat în romanian) is the third of the names ( from the gerek ones) and versions of stew - we also have guveç ( ghiveci) from the Turks, goulash and papricaș from the Ungarians😂
@@GreekCookingMadeEasy yes we also call bechamel the sauce itself but the preps that contains that type of sauce, or the version without milk, we usually call the ciulama ( of chicken, mushrooms, even nettles). I've only heard under the name of "stufat" ( I guess it comes from your stifadi) our tradițional Easter lamb stew, with plenty of Green onions and garlic or even spinach ( for those who had not got enough/sick of Green weeds 😄 untill then ).
Nice recipe. May I suggest you invest in some decent knives, not those cheap hollow ground ones - life in the kitchen is so much easier, more productive and safer with quality sharp knives. Yassou.
I just came back from Corfu..and I fell in love with stifado..so ime gonna cook my own with the help of this video😊
I can understand why. Stifado is a great dish!! Enjoy dear friend 😀

Δοκίμασα την συνταγή σού γία τά Χριστούγεννα, και ήταν το πιο ωραίο στιφάδο πού έχω φάει. Χίλια μπράβο
Χίλια ευχαριστώ 🙏❤️

You might like to amend the ingredients as it says white wine & not white wine vinegar.
