Another wonderful collaboration coordinated by our wonderful ‪@MyAjjisKitchen‬ and a trailer for collaboration produced by ‪@WhatsCookingAtMomsKitchen‬! Big hugs to you both.
Make sure to encourage and support us all! There will be wonderful dishes from Greece in this collaboration. You don't want to miss these premiers. If you do, we understand that life is busy, make sure to come back and support us on the replay!
Here is my style of a famous Greek dish, called Stifatho/Stifado! Wonderfully easy and wonderfully delicious. I stuck with beef but it can be traditionally cooked with rabbit, lamb, pork, or beef. Comment down below and let me know how you enjoy your stifatho/stifado.
Thank you all for your support!

    Full recipe :
2 lbs. of Beef Chuck Roast Boneless
    Seasoning with
½ to 1 TSP of Black Pepper
1 to 2 TSP of Sea Salt
    2 TSP Dry Oregano
    ¼ TSP Nutmeg
1 to 2 TBSPs of Apple Cider Vinegar
    ½ TSP of Garlic Powder
Set aside or allow to marinate overnight
9oz of fresh Shallots, (add 1 hour before complete) -Can roast/pre-cook before adding to stew.
7.3 of Cocktail Onions, (add 30 minutes before complete)
1 Elephant Garlic (1/2 Cup of fresh garlic)
    Cook for about 5 mins.
    1 Cup of Red wine
2 TBSP of Red wine vinegar
Or 1 TBSP of apple cider vinegar and 1 TBSP of Balsamic vinegar
After 5 mins. add 3 Bay leaves
    2 Cinnamon Sticks
    ½ o 1 TSP of allspice
    8 to 10 Whole peppercorn
    4 Whole Cloves
    2 TBSPS of Tomato paste
Allow to cook down for 2 to 3 mins.
    Add 28oz. of crushed tomatoes
1 to 3 TBSPS of Brown Sugar or regular sugar
    Add your chopped garlic
    2 cups of Beef broth
    Sea salt to taste
    Fresh a bunch of oregano
Add meat and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 30 to 2 hours
Then add your onions for the last 30 mins to a 1 hour
Remember you might have to raise the temperature to 400 or 425 depending on your oven
This dish can take 2 to 3 hours to cook depending on your stovetop or stove
Once you mix everything in you can allow it to slow cook in the oven and be productive.
If you are cooking it on your stove top make sure you stir occasionally to avoid the sugars sticking to the bottom and burning.

Good advice to not rush the dish. With some recipes it's important to both read the instructions and take them to heart. Sounds like this is one of them where you have to allow enough time to do it properly
