As an amateur who might build 1 or 2 cabinets for their own use, its always interesting to me to see how people do it, so thanks for your video. I always enjoy hearing your thought process. I've certainly enjoyed using your router jig!
Not boring at all! Every build brings a new perspective... no matter how many of these videos I watch, there is always something to take away. Showing your mistakes and fixes is the bonus... it's genuine and helps me to be confident that a non-pro is just as capable of a project like this. I appreciate that!
4:56 love how you highlight each piece in the 3D modeling as you're attaching them together in the real world. Great attention to detail, as usual and great build. Love watching your videos, as they're a perfect mix of entertainment and informative. And definitely never boring! 😊

Glad to see a New project of yours in the works it's been a while. Always enjoy watch you work and nearly every time you make something amazing. Very nice design and execution of your cabinets. Welcome back.
Love your videos. If I may offer a suggestion, install your drawer slides prior to installing the cabinets. Much easier to do on your bench than crawling inside the box.
Great project and video. I have 3 girls…7 years old and twin 5 year olds. They love watching your videos as well!! Looking forward to more furniture projects in the future.
Cabinets are not easy for everyone so it's always interesting to watch what technique every woodworker is using added all the customisations so thanks for making the video absolutely love your work, an inspiration 👍
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's not like every other cabinet build. It's narrow, gives people thoughts. It's useful, it gives people inspiration. Very nice! Also, that Bambu Lab printer looks like a blast to use to make quality of life improvements!!! Seriously! How nice is it to be able to create your own storage holders! Can't wait to get one now.
@3x3CustomTamar I had to watch this again to refresh my memory. It's no wonder you are proud of yourself! Even with your mistakes, you corrected them and everything turned out great! Since you didn't cover the bottom of the cabinets (under the drawers) you have access to more storage for hiding things like treats and gifts! I saw a really cool upper cabinet over on DIY Montreal Marie made that I think you would appreciate. Thanks for the lesson
I watched this segment and I appreciate your craftsmanship, problem solving, ingenuity and your video editing skills. I took down some notes on your techniques and now I am curious about three dimensional printing.
Your cabinets look great! I'm glad you DID make the video because I found it worthwhile to see someone making workshop cabinets and presenting an alternate way to, e.g., line up drawer slides as well as your design decisions regarding the depth of the cabinets, the Shaper work area, etc. I'm also really happy to see someone who designs furniture applying a 3D printer in their workshop. I'm looking forward to seeing your applications. Thank you for sharing.
Tamar, today many homes built in the past 15 yrs have smaller garages. Mine has 24” on either side between the wall and overhead door side. So your design shows me I could build mine perhaps at a 16” depth and have room to tuck my cars in during snow events. Your videos are always interesting and to those of who are creative you simply spark other solutions. Thx
Great looking cabinets! Dust is bad for 3D printers. If you must keep it in your shop, build an enclosure. Also check out the Gridfinity system of 3D printable storage. Now there is a rabbit hole somebody with new cabinets could get lost in.
I like how excited you're getting with the potential of a 3D printer because I've just got one myself and I feel like about half of what I've made so far is either templates to route around or mounting brackets for various pieces of hardware, so I know exactly how you feel!
Take a look at the gridfinity system if you haven’t come across it already. That really helped me get my drawers organized. Also I definitely enjoy watching cabinets get built.
Having an easy reliable 3d printer was really a game-changer for projects like this... just being able to mock up a quick jig in OnShape/Fusion and print it out has been great for making things more repeatable and accurate when building things.
@@3x3CustomTamarMaybe you could do a video about building an enclosure around it. Keeping the sawdust off of it is probably a good idea even with your excellent dust collection system.
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you and let you know how much I respect you for not editing out your mistakes. Seeing you work through things like cutting a cabinet door the wrong way-something I've done so many times-really resonates with me. I never thought to fix it with a Domino like you did, but I’ll definitely try that next time. I make mistakes all the time, and it can really hurt mentally. Sometimes they’re not a big deal, but other times they are, especially when it means losing material. Knowing that someone like you has made the exact same mistakes is so reassuring. The next time I mess up-which will probably be tomorrow-it’ll help ease the sting a bit. So anyway, thank you.
Miss Tamar, Outstanding. Simply Outstanding. One of your best your best videos to date. My hat is of to you. Re-building 14 drawers in my shop came to a stand-still as I am rethinking the design to mirror yours. Being a Professional Cabinet Maker, with KCMA Certification I am dually impressed. Please keep on ! WOW WOW WOW !!! Chief Sends
Cabinet builds are so fun to watch! On top of how fun it is to watch you being a total pro woodworker, it has an additional extra point of seeing you happy with the product (and that we'll be seeing more of it in future videos, just like your workbench). Not to mention that the ending with you organizing your tools neatly into their compartments is super satisfying 😊
I really enjoy how you talk during your video. The way you say "drawer" cracks me up. You are very talented and I have watched several of your videos. Keep up the great work
In NO way was this boring! You are so through and meticulous its extremely satisfying watching eveything xome together. Its a joy to see the process. My only suggestion would be even longer videos! Tt for the amazing channel, subscribed!
20:00 That fix with the domino warrants a dedicated video! I've tried myself but failed miserably. I'm still learning to do this kind of work done properly. Even with my domino. Oh and same for 25:38 Neat!
There is more than one way to build a cabinet ... you showed us your way. Not boring at all. Your simplicity in the design was a pleasure to watch. You detailed, running commentary is fun while also being instructive. This was a very nice build and a welcomed video. Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
Been watching your channel for awhile now and can say it doesn’t matter what you’re making, you do it well, explain things thoroughly, and you smile and have fun while doing it. I’m sure you have some moments that are aggravating, but the good outweigh the rough. Needless to say, I’m still a fan!
So glad you shared your cabinet build! I have been following you for years; you have been my inspiration for taking up woodworking so there is no better woodworker to learn from!
We are moving, and having a barndominium built. I am a toy maker myself. I was told I could save a ton of money if I could make my own kitchen and bath cabinets, and do a lot of the finish work. I have been watching a lot of cabinet builds here lately. This is the first one of yours I have seen, and I must say I really like the way you explain, and do your work. It is great! I like the sliding panel for the Origin, that was just plain genius. Am getting ready to watch your dream workbench videos. I will be having to make everything in my new shop as well. Great job!! David
I love all the videos on how you’re building out your new shop. Saving all of them for future reference. I especially appreciate you sharing mistakes made and how you worked around them.
I love how simple you make all your videos but also your encouraging words that mistakes happen and can be fixed! Watching even a pro like yourself make mistakes and find a fix makes me think I can also try a huge project like this!
I am always impressed by your process and positive attitude. This build might solve a problem I have had organizing my shop, thank you! I am also glad to see another woodworker embracing 3D printing - it is a game changer.
Wow...the cabinet is so nice and the organization now is in another level ...but that 3D printer is an amazing toy for a lot of tasks...you are a source of inspiration for many Congratulations from Brazil
I love the simple engineering of the cabinets very effective and yes seeing u organizing ans cleaning up the shop by building the cabinets is very satisfying
Tamar, I absolutely love your videos, and wait for them to pop up on my sidebar. I bought your 6-in-1 Palm Router Jig for my Makita palm router and it has worked wonderfully for me and was as easy a 1-2-3 to install and set up. I am very happy to see your new shop and that new workbench you designed is out of this world! So many exquisite features, wow. I just wish you would post more videos for us to watch, I could watch one every day and never get tired off them. You are by far my favorite online woodworker. Others may have a bigger shop, bigger budget, higher dollar equipment and sponsors, but you have the HEART!! Thank you.
Definitely not boring! Glad you did this video. Just the way you integrated the shaper origin into the cabinet was worth the view. Everyone has ideas on how to build cabinets, and I learn from everybody’s great ideas.
Hello! I am Botto. I come from Taiwan. I buy a Bambu A1 after watching the video. I decide to make an enclosure for my Bambu A1 and AMS. You can make one ASAP in the next project. Because a lot of dust in the workshop can reduce A1's life span. Love you. Thanks!
Tamar, I'm so glad your friends convinced you to create this video. I am in the process of gathering ideas and inspiration for my workbench. You also show us what went wrong and why, which is good to know for when I tackle this project myself. Because of that I want to say a heartfelt thank you so much! Watching this made my day.
Great video. For drawer storage you might want to look into the gridfinity system. There’s so many different boxes etc to print that all mesh to the same grid
Thank you for the video of your shop cabinets - it was helpful. I am a taller person but to make the best use of space, worksurfaces with less depth make more sense.
I enjoy your content - no matter what you're making. Thanks for it, and as always I look forward to more. And welcome to Bambu Land! My P1P is the 4th printer I've owned and is by FAR the best! I had it for a year before I got my AMS and now can't believe I ever lived without it. You're gonna have a lot of fun!
yes, nice thing about the newer 3D printers. not only Bambu, however Bambu is a more preferred printer in the entry field especially. not only how much it cost to make an item but also how much filament is needed
I actually have wanted to build cabinets for my garage/shop for a while, but the project was daunting, and I didn't fully know how to do some parts of it, so this was super useful! The domino join for the short cut was amazing.
Beautiful cabinet and I am so glad you discovered the same new millennium high tech solution I use for storing valuable small parts-i.e. plastic baggies.😎
Yeah, hey, the Shop Cabinet turned out very nice. With the material you used, the could possibly be acceptable to be used inside your house. The cabinet looks awesome. Good job.
I found this build of drawers and cabinets very entertaining. I like the narrow top design for although I am a man bending over to reach the back of 24” is a stretch as I am past 70.
I'm glad you chose to make this video I'm new at woodworking at my old age. I was afraid of starting a cabinet build for my shop now you have a way that helps understand better than other makers have shown and now I feel more comfortable about trying it. Thank you and keep up the beautiful work you do.
Couldn't even finish the whole video before saying.... You're a beast! And you're taking away any mystery of the almighty cabinet. They're not rocket science. They're cabinets. And just guessing you don't do hand cut dovetails. Many other strong possibilities. Thank you great content. Love the remove sawdust with foot kick. May add that to my repertoire.
My other channel i watch is woodshop diaries and she creates a lot of cabinets but i enjoy them just as much as your videos too. Cabinet creating or not its nice to see peoples approach to creating the same of something! well done fantastic work looks incredible!
@3x3CustomTamar fantastic woman isn't she ! Such great ideas. With both your channels I have so many ideas just need some more sockets and cabinets setup in my garage :D
@3x3CustomTamar thanks so much for sharing your shop furniture projects. With you being a "fun size" woman like me, I struggle to find the right measurements to work for me. My math sucks so having to downsize standard size projects is frustrating. I love how it turned out. I have a few suggestions for you since you are so good at sharing! The left corner you said is going to get shelves...make a folding step against the wall! That way you don't have to find a step ladder and it doesn't take up space. The frame portion of the drawer you had to cut off...turn it into a slide out or flip up under the next cabinet you make for when you need more temporary space. The next kick plate you make...put it on drawer slides to make a step to reach higher or another drawer. I look forward to more videos. Can't believe it's already been 2 years!
I'm glad you did make this video. It's awesome. I love the cabinets, they look great and it was amazing to see the difference in your shop. I just wish I was smart enough to do this stuff
Thank you so much for posting a video like this! I very am much a novice when it comes to building cabinets and this made it much easier to grasp all the steps in between start and finish.
Since all the drawers are the same size, I would've installed the slide on the drawers next to it, then just moved them over to the wall cabinet and then redid that set of drawers. And adding a 3D printer to your maker arsenal is a great next step! I got one last year and it is a game changer. And making your own designs to fit your needs is the best part!
Acho vc: didática na explicação, profissional, simpática. Obrigado pela ajuda. Ainda terei um cantinho próprio para marcenaria e copiarei suas idéias. Abraço
Daniel, wow. Seriously I am jealous of your skill. 7 months and I'm still trying to get all the electronics to work together. Also the machine. Just beautiful
This is a pretty awesome storage unit Tamar. Love how you work methodically and even when you make a mistake, overcome it with a slight adjustment. Very nicely finished as well.
Thanks for sharing this project, even if you consider it mundane. 1) Seeing how pros organize their space, and the thought process that goes into it, is useful and interesting to me. 2) Even with such a project, there's usually a nugget that I've not seen before; in this case, it's stop blocks for the table saw- I'd never seen that. So useful! You should be thrilled the result- it's aesthetically pleasing and so, so functional. Awesome!
Great build. The storage is awesome. I would say this is the best case for me to want a 3D printer that I've seen. All the stuff you showed is awesome and really handy.
That was very enjoyable to watch, a well executed project and the end result is amazing. Love that 3D printer too, I might have to look at getting one myself.
I'm in the midst of building my shop (I've been working on electrical for the last several days), and cabinetry will be the first thing that goes in. I won't build my cabinets like yours, but I really appreciate your ideas. They'll be incorporated with the ideas I've gleaned from watching other cabinet builds to make something that I really like. I just hope they'll will work for me for more than a year! :D
Your cabinets look AWESOME and enhance your beautiful workbench so much! You have such great ideas on how to overcome obstacles. Thanks for sharing all the great tips. Looks like your ankle has healed up real well! Maybe you can use your new printer to make a dust hose attachment to suck up ceiling spiders.....haha!
Love the motivation and inspiration in the video! And your outfeed table is great, bonus cred for that. not only is it smooth, but I LOVE the contrast in colors, really makes it pop out and look great.
I think I subscribed to your channel when you had 30K subs and you were working in a cluttered garage with a fabric divider hiding all the other stuff. It’s amazing to see that you’re now at 825K subs. You deserve it!
Your "anything can be fixed " attitude negates the fear that keeps me from starting a project. This came out great. Thanks for sharing!
It also helps when you have near genius brains like Tamar does. It can take months for me to come up with a viable solution. Which when coupled with a high degree of frustration turns into an “ah that’s good enough” look.😎
I could listen to you say "drawer" all day. You should be thrilled; it looks terrific and will be a huge organizational help. Thanks for sharing.
😂😂😂 I just keep going in and staring at it. It just makes the space feel so much better
I thought you were saying "draw"LOL. I'm like oh maybe thats how they say drawer in the state you are from.

I loved this video and your attention to detail! I wouldn't mind watching you make other simple items, I'm sure I would learn something new.
Awesome to hear
Yeah, hey, the Shop Cabinet turned out very nice. With the material you used, the could possibly be acceptable to be used inside your house. The cabinet looks awesome. Good job.
I found this build of drawers and cabinets very entertaining. I like the narrow top design for although I am a man bending over to reach the back of 24” is a stretch as I am past 70.
Awesome to hear! Yeah, 24” is just too deep. Things end up getting lost too. Just not necessary in my opinion
I'm glad you chose to make this video I'm new at woodworking at my old age. I was afraid of starting a cabinet build for my shop now you have a way that helps understand better than other makers have shown and now I feel more comfortable about trying it. Thank you and keep up the beautiful work you do.
Yay! always nice to see a new update from you on your latest project, glad you are enjoying building out your new shop. 😊
Thank you! 😊
Your friends were correct, that was awesome and inspirational....rock on sis...
Awesome to hear!
Defenetly not boring, whatever you are making is interesting. and your solutions ale original.
☺️☺️
My other channel i watch is woodshop diaries and she creates a lot of cabinets but i enjoy them just as much as your videos too. Cabinet creating or not its nice to see peoples approach to creating the same of something! well done fantastic work looks incredible!
She does a great job! Love Shara.
@3x3CustomTamar fantastic woman isn't she ! Such great ideas. With both your channels I have so many ideas just need some more sockets and cabinets setup in my garage :D
You're amazing! on many levels. Keep up the fantastic work you do.
Thank u for the content. Really relaxing to see u create and put together.
Thank u again for your videos.
The feeder in front of your table saw- GENEUS!
Awesome!!! Great build. Definitely going to look into the 3-D printer. Looks like fun. Enjoy your weekend.😎
I can’t stop printing…
Cabinets look great. I have small basement shop so organization ideas I'm always interested in.
Thank you so much for posting a video like this! I very am much a novice when it comes to building cabinets and this made it much easier to grasp all the steps in between start and finish.
I am impressed with the approach and quality of work. 👍
For storage/organization, you should look into printing gridfinity bins.
Parabéns. Tudo que você faz, é bem feito. Capricho moça!!!
Such a great job, Tamar!! I loved the little back kick @ 10:14!!😂
I always learn something new watching your videos, thanks so much!
Good video. I don’t find cabinet videos boring. The 3d printer looks interesting. Lots of applications.
I havnt stopped printing since I plugged it in!
Loved every second of this build. I took a shot every time you said Druawer..
Oh no… someone needs to check on this guy to see if he’s still alive 😂
not boring at all!!! very very awesome!!!!!!
Very Nice. I often have the slides flush with the bottom of the drawer. Makes it easy to install on the workbench and saves you some measuring :)
That’s a good idea
Love that you went with a shallower depth on the cabinets- definitely makes access to the wall space so much easier.
Very motivating to clean up my own mess 😀. Great video and perfect result. Thank you.
This is a pretty awesome storage unit Tamar. Love how you work methodically and even when you make a mistake, overcome it with a slight adjustment. Very nicely finished as well.
Thanks so much! 😊
Awesome!
So glad it was interesting and informative for you! Awesome.
Great build. The storage is awesome. I would say this is the best case for me to want a 3D printer that I've seen. All the stuff you showed is awesome and really handy.
Thanks! I have literally not stopped printing since I plugged it in. So many ideas!
Well, your videos are never boring.. Always crisp, organized and professional. Your personality carries the day. Btw I am a "draw" guy.
Awesome to hear! Draw people unite! 😂😂
Ha! I might have to print a spider catcher! Thanks!
