It also helps when you have near genius brains like Tamar does. It can take months for me to come up with a viable solution. Which when coupled with a high degree of frustration turns into an “ah that’s good enough” look.😎

So your design shows me I could build mine perhaps at a 16” depth and have room to tuck my cars in during snow events. Your videos are always interesting and to those of who are creative you simply spark other solutions. Thx

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you and let you know how much I respect you for not editing out your mistakes. Seeing you work through things like cutting a cabinet door the wrong way-something I've done so many times-really resonates with me. I never thought to fix it with a Domino like you did, but I’ll definitely try that next time. I make mistakes all the time, and it can really hurt mentally. Sometimes they’re not a big deal, but other times they are, especially when it means losing material. Knowing that someone like you has made the exact same mistakes is so reassuring. The next time I mess up-which will probably be tomorrow-it’ll help ease the sting a bit. So anyway, thank you.

I have a few suggestions for you since you are so good at sharing!
The left corner you said is going to get shelves...make a folding step against the wall! That way you don't have to find a step ladder and it doesn't take up space.
The frame portion of the drawer you had to cut off...turn it into a slide out or flip up under the next cabinet you make for when you need more temporary space.
The next kick plate you make...put it on drawer slides to make a step to reach higher or another drawer.
I look forward to more videos. Can't believe it's already been 2 years!

Since all the drawers are the same size, I would've installed the slide on the drawers next to it, then just moved them over to the wall cabinet and then redid that set of drawers.
And adding a 3D printer to your maker arsenal is a great next step!
I got one last year and it is a game changer. And making your own designs to fit your needs is the best part!

For storage/organization, you should look into printing gridfinity bins.

Very Nice. I often have the slides flush with the bottom of the drawer. Makes it easy to install on the workbench and saves you some measuring :)

Love that you went with a shallower depth on the cabinets- definitely makes access to the wall space so much easier.

This is a pretty awesome storage unit Tamar. Love how you work methodically and even when you make a mistake, overcome it with a slight adjustment. Very nicely finished as well.

Thanks for sharing this project, even if you consider it mundane. 1) Seeing how pros organize their space, and the thought process that goes into it, is useful and interesting to me. 2) Even with such a project, there's usually a nugget that I've not seen before; in this case, it's stop blocks for the table saw- I'd never seen that. So useful!
You should be thrilled the result- it's aesthetically pleasing and so, so functional. Awesome!

I'm in the midst of building my shop (I've been working on electrical for the last several days), and cabinetry will be the first thing that goes in. I won't build my cabinets like yours, but I really appreciate your ideas. They'll be incorporated with the ideas I've gleaned from watching other cabinet builds to make something that I really like. I just hope they'll will work for me for more than a year! :D

Your cabinets look AWESOME and enhance your beautiful workbench so much! You have such great ideas on how to overcome obstacles. Thanks for sharing all the great tips. Looks like your ankle has healed up real well! Maybe you can use your new printer to make a dust hose attachment to suck up ceiling spiders.....haha!

I think I subscribed to your channel when you had 30K subs and you were working in a cluttered garage with a fabric divider hiding all the other stuff. It’s amazing to see that you’re now at 825K subs. You deserve it!
