Maya is a snappy tune. Sounds great cranked in my car👊🏽⚡️FDTD is angelic metal at its finest. 🦊🤘🏾 Another song that really shows off Su-metal’s vocals is, ‘The Legend’.
The whole of the PIA shows last year were immaculate, Black night from which Maya is taken was the Last Avengers gig and at the very end it was announced in a new piece of law that Momo was the new member and the next night, Clear night, was the fist night she had a mic. The first song on PIA Clear night was Metal Kingdom and it is a must watch to see the start of that 1st show back as 3 members with mics, they also played Iine for the first time since Yui left and Momo smashed it. Great reaction, can't wait for the Legend MM (20 night and 21 night to arrive in July). What really amazes me though and it never comes across on reactions simply because reactions are short but when they do these huge 2 night specials like the PIA Black Night/Clear Night or the 2021 or 2014 shows at the Budakan or any of the others is they play different sets each night. at The PIA they played 14 songs each night but only 7 were sung on both nights so that's 21 songs and dance routines to learn and different fan interactions to work out for each night because the band need to know when there going to do it plus all the lighting and pyro ques and stage directions are different each night The work and prep that goes into this from everybody involved to get to the point where you can do that over 2 nights perfectly is next level dedication and talent And finally Su's vocal range and perfection on From Dusk till Dawn and the way Moa's vocal waives around it is incredible, I'd love to see it with Momo, I think the harmonies they could build on that would be a dream come true. All the best🤘🤘🤘🦊🦊🦊.
Thank you for the great information! Yes I have thought about the level of dedication and preparation it must take for Babymetal to perform these kinds of two night concert events. And the endurance to be able to sing, dance and run around the stage is absolutely amazing! Thanks for stopping by 😁🤟🦊
@@JasonsSongStopThe athletic conditioning of Moa and Momo always impresses me, especially when they take leading vocals. When both Moa and Momo sang their versions of Headbanger, it was the second to last song of the concert. The idea that they had to dance for the entire concert and then take Su’s place and not sound winded has always blown my mind.
@@stevenparkerbrown8656 I know and think how good the guys on the desk must be to hit every extra sound, track or synth, all bands do it but those guys are really part of the Kami band for what they add to the sound, music, atmosphere and overall show.
Awesome! Maya is amazing but From Dusk Till Dawn takes the cake. Su’s vocal range is just unbelievable. Also. I love the transition to the chaos of “midnight”, the. The shift to major key accompanied by the lighting to “sunrise”. As the title suggests, from dusk till dawn. Amazing!! I would suggest some of their earlier works: *BABYMETAL DEATH (Legend 1997):* Show closer to Su-metal’s 16th BDay concert in Dec 2013. Puts Alice Cooper to shame. *Rondo of Nightmare (Budokan 2014):* Su solo and Kami East showcase, heavy and dark. *Onedari Daisakusen (Legend 1997):* Limp Bizkit, but cute. Su takes a break, Yui and Moa duet. They tell us how to be spoiled rotten brats and use their devilish charms to get dad to buy them all the things. So adorably brutal lol 🤣. 🤘🦊

@@JasonsSongStop I know! Also, upon a deeper dive into the lyrics, I found that Babymetal purposely kept the lyrics sounding somewhat “vague”. Excellent double feature, thanks! "MAYA" is one of my favorite songs from The Other ONE album. And yes, their live is basically impeccable. You said correctly Kami Band, btw. "From Dusk Till Dawn" is a rarity both for the music itself and for its bizarre live history. It's a rare combination of dream trance with metal. And yeah, Su's falsetto is quite unique although we have heard it before in a cover song called "Tsubasa wo kudasai" performed only once at the Legend-D concert in December 2012. Good job for pointing it out, I really appreciate it. Because I've heard things like "what's that noise" and "what's that instrument" before on other reaction videos... 😅 The 10 BABYMETAL Budokan shows were a series of ten shows performed between January and April 2021. So it was literally impossible (for foreigners) to attend (or to travel to Japan for that matter) due to the restrictions. Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Cool double reaction, tysm for sharing this. Love that extended intro, it reminds Blade movie when they're in the underground club and the bloody showdown is about to unleashed.💀 MAYA belongs to latest album The Other One but it wasn't part of the 5 singles released, although it becomes one of fans favorite from this album real fast. The nasty riffs reminds to "Ice Nine Kills - Rainy Day". Maya in Hindu myth is the representation of illusion (which is the theme in this song), so that's the reference. Here's some official info: MAYA (ILLUSION) _Reality is an illusion. The truth may be a deception._ _It is a feeling as if you wandered in between the Real World and the Virtual World. It may be magic, or it may be an illusion._ The Western Kami Band playing this live at PIA Arena MM (April 1st) gives some aggressive flavor that i really like and with MomoMetal now officially as a new member, just so you know this was performed during Black Night (that's why they're wearing the old battle dress from Metal Galaxy era and she ain't got a mic), at the end of this night she was announced as MomoMetal, the night after this (Clear Night) they're wearing the new costume you can see at Mirror Mirror, METALIZM official MV and more recently Divine Attack - Shingeki live version. They've been rotating this song along with Mirror Mirror and Believing during The World Tour 2023/2024. About Form Dusk Till Dawn: Although it looks like a new song from previous album and we only got this proshot version from 2021, song it's actually from Metal Resistance released in 2016 and becomes one of the underrated tracks but hidden gem for some more fans, including me, it's one of my fav. This song was performed along with Syncopation in the middle of setlist during Doomsday III and IV, it got that epic and ethereal vibes and it shows a mature side in BM second album, Metal Resistance. Both songs are part of that album, only thing is FDTD was released for international market and Syncopation only locally, of course is another suggestion for next reaction. This is a long time waited proshot version for the fans, song was pushed to be performed again after many years and being played only one time at Hollywood Paladium in 2017 while on US tour when YuiMetal was still in the group, sadly for copyright disputes that proshot version never saw the light and we only have fancams of that. Thankfully they performed this twice in 2021 at 10 Babymetal Years Budokan, and surprised everyone with this astonishing and beautiful production. Momoko Okazaki (now MomoMetal) was the avenger helping to fill the third spot and she did a great job. Also the English lyrics is a little bit more clear thanks to Papa Xan from BMRR although this one is a fan edit with another English translation, but we don't have official lyrics yet, is one out of four songs with full English lyrics. Like someone said before, MoaMetal is like a body subtitles for this song. Love that dubstep or brostep breakdown, is a genre widely know and popular around 2015 thanks to Skrillex among others, he actually become very good friend with BM and even invite them to perform during a Skrillex show in Japan playing a remix version of Gimme Chocolate!! Western Kamis are SIK a F**k, but aren't as Animated as the Eastern Kamis. That's OK, & Not a neg. jab @ the Western Kamis @ all! They're AMAZINGLY GREAT!
Nice one. This was actually the world premiere performance of Maya. I was at PIA Arena so I got to see this live and it absolutely slapped. The whole Babymetal Begins concert was incredible. I believe that Maya is played on a down tuned eight string. The guitarists for this performance at Chris Kelly (left of stage) and CJ Masciantonio (right of stage). The rest of the Kami Band for this show was Clint Tustin on bass, and Anthony Barone on drums. Most Babymetal fans consider the live performances to be superior to the studio recording because the studio versions have too many effects on Su's voice and fans prefer to hear her natural singing voice without all the unnecessary stuff on top, plus she adds more vocal flourishes when she sings them live. From Dusk Til Dawn has only ever been performed live three times, including the two performances at Budokan in 2021 that this video is made from. FDTD was the exclusive track on the international release of the Metal Resistance album. The Japanese version had the song Syncopation instead (another banger). Koba said that he felt that Syncopation was "too Japanese" for the international audience, so he put FDTD on instead, which is one of only four Babymetal songs entirely in English. The Budokan performances were done with the Japanese Kami Band - Takayoshi Ohmura (guitars), Isao Fujita (guitars), BOH (bass), Hideki Aoyama (drums).

It's a pity that BABYMETAL was not born in the West - Suzuka's vocals and the skills of those involved in the band's creativity are still underrated... It's a good thing that BABYMETAL was not born in the West - because the standards and approach of the West simply would not have given birth to such a unique phenomenon. Seeing how most of the female "artists" that the industry promotes in the west are all about who wears the tightest suit for the most outrageous nipple and cameltoe exposition and ass shaking... I'm glad these girls (plus Yui) had proper instructors in dancing / singing instead of twerking.
Very well put.... on both accounts
The build up to Maya you can feel the best through the floor and is great live . love watching reactors comment on Su's high notes during FDTD then she hits The Note your reaction was perfect just like i expected it was going to be 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Thanks for stopping by again! Wow that is a great bit of information about the build up feeling in the floor! That's a great perspective you can only know by seeing them live! 😁🤟🦊
@@JasonsSongStop it just builds then it hits . Another song with a thumping beat I experienced more live was Timewave it was performed first time outside Japan on 2nd night at Roundhouse . They performed Maya on 1st night was lucky to be there for both nights 😁🤘🏼🦊
vid goes hard tho
Thanks for stopping by! Yes this was truly another level 😁🤟🦊
Please reaction to Ado.(young japanese singer)

Thanks for much for the song suggestions! Make sure to come back for my DAILY videos where I will keep going down the list! 😁🤟🦊
Nice one!
Maya slaps hard live and FDTD is just outstanding (still in my top 3 Babymetal songs). Unfortunately, the 10 Budokan shows in 2021 were held under strict rules, with half the capacity, no shouting, so all the crowd chants were sliced in with backtracks. 🤘🦊🔥
Thanks for stopping by! Oh wow, that is a very interesting bit of information about the Budokan shows! 😁🤟🦊
