Thank you so much for all of your knowledge. I’m a first-timer in the automotive sales industry and I am receiving NO training from my management. You are helping me to be successful on my own and my coworkers are green over my success so far. I’ve been here a month. Thanks again!
Here's another couple of good questions to ask during Meet & Greet: 1. "Do you mind me asking what put you in the market for a new or preowned vehicle?" This identifies what is referred to as the Triggering Event as many times something happens that triggers a customer to start looking for a vehicle and it can give the salesperson some real good information. It might be their vehicle has too many miles (uneasy about no warranty to cover repairs), they've had mechanical repair issues (talk about the quality of your vehicle), they're about to come to the end of their lease (who wouldn't want to know this?), they totaled their last vehicle (focus on safety features on your vehicle), they just found out they're having twins (they need more room in vehicle), or whatever. There are all kinds of things you might hear from this question that could be helpful to give a salesperson certain type of features to focus on while selling a vehicle. 2. Also as Andy says, it will always help you sell a vehicle if you can find some common ground with your customer. Here's another great question to help: "Do you mind if I ask you what do you like to do when you're not working?" Now you find some common interests with your customer and this leads to good conversation other than talking about car stuff and will help you break down the barrier that some customers have up when you first meet them.
I start Monday at an Acura dealership. Second time in car biz. Left the first time due to life circumstances but sold 13 my first month. I always felt so much pressure and I know that showed. This time I am determined to relax and be confident. I have a son and twins on the way that I need to provide a great life for! Thanks for the videos, Andy!
As a promise to myself and you I will listen and train off as many of these videos as I can. Become one of the nation's best car salesmen and I'll be sure to give you a like and a comment on every video I train from. Thanks Andy. I cant wait to talk with you and finally meet and train with you in person!!
Hi Andy! I grew up in the car industry. My dad is a GM of a Chevy dealer that I worked in for four years doing all of their marketing and website. Watching my colleagues sell cars around me and make a lot of money doing it made me hopeful that that would one day be me. I finally took the step to apply to a few dealerships. I was lucky enough to get an interview that I’m a little nervous for considering I have the knowledge but now the experience. I just wanted to thank you for all of your helpful videos! I just watched the interview one and I’m praying it helps me get the job! I have faith that I have what it takes to sell a lot of cars, especially being a woman in this industry. Thank you again for your helpful tools to move up the ladder! Currently manifesting that I will get the job! You rock!
I’ve been working at the dealership for a month now and been watching Andy for a while now. Great tips and very helpful. We have to apply what he says every video. Practice also! Hit the gym.
Great video taking notes as I go, I agree that it is all about building relationships with people and making the know that you genuinely care and want to be of great assistance to them. I think that is my strong point is that I love people and I want to build a long lasting relationship with them, its not all about selling them a car its about building rapport with them and creating a life long client, that will not only buy from you but will refer their friends and family to you and help you and your business grow phenomenally! Thanks for putting this playlist together I am watching them one by one!!
Great Video! Watching this video definitely helped me out. I've been lacking on confidence lately. I enjoy and absorb what you are saying! Not a lot of training in my dealership so this really helps!
Thanks for this video Andy! so well done taking everything you’ve said into consideration. I’m new to sales and struggling a bit want to get better this should definitely help! Love the videos man
@@LuxuFoo follow and listen to Andy, you may get bs from the guys on the floor, it doesn't matter. I'm now over 200k, which is a 70k boost... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Andy I really don't know how to even start a conversation with anyone I don't even know anything about engines, hitches, towing capacity Tbh I know a whole lot of nothing I don't even have an interest in cars that much I don't get excited about hearing all about some supped up car with axel barings and springs and assisted blinker lights I mean if this sentence doesn't tell you everything about what kind of person I am then I don't know what will. And yet I do have a love for making money, making a sale but for the life of me I can't think of anything to even get things going I have no problem telling someone hi how you doing or even approaching someone but after that I don't know how to be that person's friend all I wanna do is just ask what brings them in today and talk about the car and not them if that makes any sense. And I want to learn to be about that person and have a genuine love for getting to know someone and establishing rapport. I also have difficulty not only establishing the rapport but also qualifying and writing down those key bits of information since you can get lost trying keeping up with that customers conversation. lol or am I just in the wrong field? Because I just started 3 days ago and I already came this far I don't want to quit because quitters never win I want to put in the work and get good at this because I'm genuinely tired of working a job at wiping down cars or cashiering at some retail job i'm 28 and I need something like this to be able to afford having the lifestyle I want and even getting a home or something cause i'm 28 and I should have a career not living paycheck to paycheck. i love your videos I jotted down a lot of the objections and viewed most of the meet and greet videos but there's still tons more I want to watch and I want to practice a lot of the role playing myself too that helps a lot.
Listen.... I totally get you. Watch this video. It teaches you how to sell a car with out ANY product knowledge. ruclips.net/video/uFwZswbyUzk/видео.html
