You just saved me hundreds of dollars with this video. My Escalade died in my garage and it’s one of the only cars that doesn’t have a neutral override. No one could come change it out for me in my garage and towing it was going to be complicated and costly - so I had to do it myself. THANK YOU! Everyone in my life is shocked and thoroughly impressed that I did it. It’s probably one of my greatest accomplishments to date! 😂👍 Thanks again!!

your neutral override is located in the driver side foot well, behind the right side kick panel. Pull the kick panel off against the center console and theres a bright orange pull chord.

Thank you Sir on your excellent video on battery change out! My 2017 Escalade battery is 5 years, 3 months and the -10 degree temperature that came through here this past weekend took its toll on the OEM battery. I will now be replacing it myself, thanks again.

Looked up how to replace battery for my 2015 baby and your video popped up.Very helpful not my 1st time but my 2nd time to replace it on my baby already had everything removed, but the battery itself. That's the reason I'm here cause I wanted to see how to wiggle out my battery!Thank you will be doing that today when sun comes up.But to be honest what really disappointed me on my 1st battery I replaced on it.1st of all it was BRAND NEW Dec 2021 and it sure wasn't CHEAP I paid $359.00 !!And it DIED like super DEAD cause not even the guy from road assistance was able to boost it!And he used 2 boosters and my baby drained them.I know everything is electrical so for that reason Im CHEAP on the power of my battery😅.My lights DO NOT turn on inside when doors open and when I get off and turn truck off I manually turn my headlights off 😂.And if im gonna sit in my truck I open my door to make sure its not using battery juice & I manually turn my headlight off again.I hope my new battery gives a longer life! Thank you again for your video peace world.

Glad the video helped, I hope you get a battery that lasts. The new vehicles have lots of electrical loads that wear these batteries out.

Thank you for this! I popped the hood and wondered how TF someone gets the battery out. This helped a lot and it turned out not to be too hard to do. And the comment about turning the battery on its side to get it out is pure gold as well.

I watched a couple of videos on battery replacement and they all took more apart than needed. Yours makes sense. Will be replacing the original battery on my 2018 Yukon Denali tomorrow.
Last week I replaced the cam & lifters without dropping the oil pan. Deleted the AFM. Fun project.

Replaced my battery today in less than 2 min with the help of your video. I stepped up to a 900cca H8 battery that was 1.25" longer but fit.
I removed the metal bar & brace as one unit. Unbolted & moved the antifreeze overflow for easy battery access.

Nice video .. quick question did you use a memory saver ? I heard that cause these vehicles have so much going on electronically disconnecting the battery causing the system to drain will cause some damage when you reconnect . Obviously yours came out fine just wanted a lil reassurance .. thanks in advance 💯💪🏽
