Beautiful, athletic, and trained as highly skilled assassins, Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters. Shao Kahn, Emperor of the Outworld, has tricked Shang Tsung into becoming his servant for Mortal Kombat by making him clone Mileena as a Tarkatan clone of Kitana, out of Shao Kahn's fear that Kitana wouldn't love him enough if she ever found out the truth about her Mother and Father.

Also I LOATHE the new MK timeline. Mileena should be created when Kitana was a child. They should grow up together with Jade becoming their bodyguard. THIS is definitely the best backstory and gives so much weight to all the characters.

Yess, it would show how mileena developed alot of insecurities and we could also see how it was like for both kitana and mileena to grow up with someone like shao kahn as their father figure. The creators gave the edenian characters lots of potential and i would love to see them use it and not waste it.

I love this version of Mortal Kombat. Sure the Tarkatans look like Orcs but they are still recognizable. Sindel looks so much more beautiful here than in the games. And her suicide to allow her soul to merge with Kitana's made much more sense to how she would later discover the truth.

Well, Shang Tsung is to blame for her bloodlust and the influence he lets Shao Kahn use on her. Maybe a redemption arc would do if she is somehow taught how to control her bloodlust.

See, here's my problem with Baraka's portrayal in all the games. His, as well as all tarkatans' power levels keeps switching between the lowest cannon fodder, and a deadly threat to most MK characters. I mean, in Shaolin Monks, Baraka showed a shit ton of vitality, and was put up a decent fight against Liu Kang and Kung Lao at the same time. In Deadly Alliance, the tarkatan hordes killed most of Earthrelm's defenders.

@Sinister King In one interview, Ms Aniston and Jolie claimed there was no "cheating" going on while in another interview Pitt claimed he did "cheat" on Aniston with Jolie and even apologized for it. #1) I thought they would've gone the more realistic route like they had originally planned in "Rebirth" I can see Shao Khan as a crime boss who horribly disfigured Mileena in a jokeresque carve a smile into you thing. #2) Soooooo a clone just popped up out of nowhere and Sindel is acting nonchalant like that happens on a daily basis.
