What do you mean it didn't exist? This game was developed in 1999 when The Prodigy was the shit. Breakbeat combined with french house and epic trance was the gods of the dancefloor these days.

That was a McLaren F1 GTR, not LM. LM is faster, than GTR. :) But EA had a lot of mistakes from car features in car showroom... so many "clerical error".
I always wanted that mclaren but never had the money for it. I played this game when I was about 7. A fantastic game with amazing soundtracks. How do you call this type of music they dont do the same music these days?

my mom bought this game for a birthday present and while at the time I was upset that is wasn't Spyro or something else I played this game more than any others, Even downloading it to my PSP later to keep playing. it was also the only one my father would play with us... Thank you mom and NSF for the greatest memories.

Yes, but, that damage doesn't affect the perfomance of car; difficulty in turning around, lowering in acceleration, losing suspension and driving at night without lights; very rare a game today with this about damage to the car

The new Forza game has a need for speed high stakes style damage system that you can turn on or off. Its off by default though, which is unfortunate.
High Stakes have realistic damage for a 90s game.

I remember renting this game for ps1 when it came out, I would rent it every weekend, until finally I got the game to keep. I still play this NFS and NFS III Hot Pursuit, they are timeless games.

I remember unlocking Atlantica. I was so pleasantly surprised, as I loved the tracks from Hot Pursuit, and having them in High Stakes with the new damage models would mean hours of fun. I played this game so much as a kid, I never got tired of it.
Rom Di Prisco, YOU ARE THE MAN, man. It's unbelievable how much different the early NFS games (2, 3, High Stakes, Porche Unleashed) were, compared with the more modern ones in the series. It used to be, "Take this Porsche and drive it across the beautiful Mediterranean coast, to deliver it to a friend." The NFS Underground series was more like, "Yo homie drive this Prelude to da otha side of town, you got it?!"
