It was such a bummer knowing EA Seattle closed down right before the release of Hot Pursuit 2. Tech did evolve greatly but these guys had superb potential. Giving the series to EA Black Box (and then subsequently butchering it after Carbon) killed it.

Search for jeff-dyck-saki-kaskas hydr0. hydr0 seems to be safe, and its just a music streaming service. But when i clicked the link i just got a 404. Maybe the site is still visible on some internet archive. My other comment was deleted maybe because of a link, so im trying to go around it by this comment.
I hope i could help you a little bit or gave you something that leads to you finding the music. If not, then sorry, but if you ever find something and by chance remember this comment, please let me know if you can ^^
Edit: i have searched Hydr0 in internet archives but couldnt find anything. The earliest copy of the website is from 2020 and even then it already had a 404 but with Nginx error. Idk what to make of this information other than the website being dead :( sorry.

nfs high stakes had one of the best soundtracks, it was so much ahead of its time. and even now - its still best among all existing games
(and new games cant get even closer to this masterpiece). when i start it first time on my ps1 i just fell through space. thats one of most futurstic things i ever heard. And that time was "golden" because of music and people like Saki Kaskas and Rom Di Prisco.

Agree! Just compare high stake’s menu music to the ones used during supermodels shows hen the models are walking on the runways.
There a certain beat that felt the same. I think what Rom di Prisco just did is to show that the main menu OSTs are deliberately composed to resemble runways backgorund music because in this game, the cars ARE the supermodels, with the cars spinning slowly as backgound music kept playing

Hydrus 606 is perfection. I can't think of another 5-minute electronic track that has everything this one does. Sorry, man, but nah.
NFS 3 OST is at least 2 heads above the NFS 4 OST overall. And that's just a start. Then get the Ace Combat 3 OST and if you has a wide enough taste in music to appreciate different genres (AC3 has mostly electronic music), then try to repeat your words after you hear it (and in conjunction with the visuals on the screen AC3 OST was blowing the mind not less, than NFS3 OST). Try it, man! (again, if you can appreciate different electronic music)

these weren't video game tracks, they belonged in the Smithsonian.... no other audio sound had ever been created like this and are still unique to this day. SONIC MASTERPIECES! plain and simple. I really loved the Tetrisphere soundtrack also, not sure of the artists tho.
