Rom di Prisco doesn't get enough credit especially from EA for his amazing contribution to creating some of the greatest music for NFS. Dr Know is a 10/10 track in my opinion and it's sad that only a select few of people who grew up in a certain time frame will know about him.

It had an amazing evolution mode that showcased the engineering of Porsche throughout the decades, a factory driver mode that was challenging and tough to beat and an amazing collection of cars. The music Rom Di Prisco provided was just icing on the cake. Such a shame that NFS nowadays is only about customization and nothing else. NFS has become a shell without a soul.

Takes me back to being in the 7th grade. Being so into cars and racing at the time. I remember my friends were into Lambo's and Ferrari's, but the Porsche's to me were the ultimate exotic dream cars. This track always stuck with me since first hearing it. Anyway thanks for the upload! This extended version is even sweeter.
The joy of firing up nfspu on a modest pc as a teenager. Seeing beautiful landscapes across EU and mastering the all important factory driver missions for bragging rights with friends. Magical times. I will always be that boy no matter how old/successful i become.
The rhythm and that initial riff make this track catchy and special. It's not one of my favorites in the game but it's nice to hear it again. One of the best and most realistic NFS games.

I had issues with my mercedes and had it in the shop for repairs. They gave me a loaner 2022 Porsche Macan S. The very first thing i did it play this sound track and i played it every time i was driving it. We had the Porsche for 2 months and it was nice change from my vehicle. It felt like a dream come true since as a child my favorite car was a porsche. (In reality i prefer mercedes over porsche but it was a dream come true feeling)

@@Davidpromaster ‘86.5 and later 944s have that updated look so it doesn’t look too dated, could pass for mid-90s even. A little boring, actually - I prefer the older 944 interiors with the deep gauges, but there was no Turbo in those years. Mine just has some wear, but that’s something I’ll get around to later. In the game the cockpit views are actually inaccurate, with all years of 944 showing the newer interior. Something I never knew as a kid playing the game hahah
The full length mixes are from Rom di Prisco's DVD archive that he sold back around 2004 or so. The full mix might be on the VK Romulus Club page, or you can try the Classic NFS discord where we talk about the games and the music all the time. :)
NFS Porsche wasn't my favorite NFS game and I didnt play it that much as NFS 2, 3 or 4, but damn I remember every second music track from there and its like 22 years I played it last time!

In the entire NFS saga there is no other song that reminds me so much of my childhood more than this one
I can picture the camera circling my 95 911 Turbo in the custom shop.
