This game was really interesting, a very unique NFS (in fact, I didn't even know it was a NFS back then lol). This track is coldly serene, moody and pensive, and I really like that, had such an impact on me when I was a kid, it feels amazing to listen to it now, like I've changed so much, yet I am still captivated by many things from the past, such as this game and its amazing, thrilling soundtrack. Thank you for giving us this extended version, I'm happy to see something about this game right now, meaning it is a timeless masterpiece really.
It is year 2005, I enter a Porsche showroom. On the left black 911 ,in front of me brand new yellow Cayman, next to it silver Cayenne. On the right side dark blue Porsche Boxster with roof opened. I remember this today, amazing time.
I don't know exactly when my parents bought this game but I've had it for as long as I can remember. I come back and play it every now and then and even on the PS1 version, the physics and handling are still amazing. The handling model in this game I'd argue rivals that of NFS MW and other titles with good physics. That being said, you gotta love the old antiquated MIDI engine sounds made for this game. Arguably one of the most iconic features of the PS1 version.
