Whenever I hear the menu music of Need for Speed High Stakes I just hear the Revving of the Engines from both the PC and PSX versions and the feel of racing on tracks with winding curves and hills that lead to airtime to the open roads of Celtic Ruins to the Twist, Turns and slides of Snowy Ridge and keeping Hot Pursuit's on edge feel in police chases and the choice of Cars ranging from Roadsters to Race Cars. That's how awesome the Main Menu and High Stakes is.

It would be cool to see a remake of need for speed highstakes from ps1 with the original soundtrack from this game and these songs redone by the same musicians!

PS1, early 2000's childhood, this game, this soundtrack= best time ever.
Think I was like 6 years old when a family friend gifted me this game. Music was mesmerizing. Actual life changing moment tbh.
sucks today they just paste the "Need For Speed" name onto any racing game and feels nothing like the old classics.
Times were games were made not only to make money but also give pleasure in your heart ❤
