"Initial D" might wanna check it out, if you like racing). the developers of this game, have clearly taken inspiration from these stuff. it's also not much of a coincidence that both NFS Carbon and FF Tokyo Drift came out in the same year of 2006
There's an official drifting school on mount fuji you can visit. Doesn't cost much, I was there on my vacation for 2 weeks and was a "Drifting Kohai", was taught by a real good driver who was also taught by the original drift king, who used the famous Toyota AE86. It was really fun, and when I go to japan the next time, I'll definetely start drifting again. Fun Fact: You don't even need a drivers license
Only these canyons know how many lives ended falling of the edge, look how many skid marks are going trough barriers. It's ultimate challange to race in there, many paid highest price for this by making a mistake or being thrown off by others of the road, probably there were hundreds of normal accidents. It shows how desolate these places are, they are old side roads in the mountains, with very rare traffic.
The Main reason Carbon fascinates me to this day is that in technicality, it is (unless you Wish to Count the King racedays in Prostreet) the only game in the NFS series to have proper bossfights.

In the world of Need for Speed, racing is a major crime and in rivals, Zephyr made all racers united meaning Redview county has a war with racers and although it ain't realistic it's fun to think about it and what makes it even better is the city is more chaotic than CoD.

We played a lot of NFSC with my brother. A fews days ago I was driving onto a road called "High Peaks Road (Camino de las Altas Cumbres)" in my state. The road is, indeed, VERY VERY similar to the ones depicted at the Canyon in the game, with these bendings, twists and curves. My brother, who was at my side started to do the drums and the flute of this song, and i inmediatly remembered the game. I was behind another car (its a 1 lane road so no overpassing, only in certain places) and he told me: "you are in orange". I inmediatly tried to get closer to him, but i drive a fuckin Ford Ecosport lol , so it took me a while. When i got near him he said "nice you are in the blue area", and i inmediatly realised my mistake: it was dangerous to be that near in that trail. But it was just a little bit and it was very fun. Thanks for uploading this so i will make sure that i never listen while driving a fucking 4 cylinder suv that can roll over itself when going more than 165 kmh.

I know this is out of place but, just think about it. In the game it's always night time, people ask for street races, they go in the canyon going extreemly fast, and the music is creepy. This is a scary need for speed game ._.

My plan was to come to his rear wheels and ram into him. PASSED! 5.00 Secs left i was like: Come on this is the 15th try (around i was mentally ill at that point) PASSED! 2.50 NONONONO! PASSED 0.06 and i passed him and won the race. After the race i was like... Holy shit... Never man never again against you... My car was an aston martin because the RX-7 wasnt fast but the aston couldnt steer... I wish that NFS 2015 had canyons in some point like custom races etc that would be cool like 1v1 races.

Literally boomer speech. Carbon was my first nfs and it was flawed. I’ve played unbound and the bad music isn’t “mumble rap”. Rap/hip hop really fit the theme. The songs that wanted to stand out were the worst (example: ice cream song). Many boomers put nfs mw soundtrack with unbounds gameplay but it doesn’t work and these people won’t move on.

Nitrous and Speedbreakers are disabled. Pursuing: The closer you are to your opponent, the more points you'll gain. Crashing into them will cause you to lose points, and if they get too far away, you have 10 seconds to catch up to them before you lose. You will automatically win if you can stay ahead of them for 10 seconds. Pursued: The farther away your opponent is, the slower your points will drain, and if they bump into you by accident, you'll gain points. Get to the end before you run out, or you lose. You'll also lose if they get ahead of you for 10 seconds, but If you can pull far enough away from them and stay that way for 10 seconds, you automatically win.

This came came out so close after F&F Tokyo Drift was released that I want to believe the developers saw the canyon race scene and stole that idea immediately for this game. I know they were actually TOO close together so it must be a coincidence but I still think it's pretty funny.

I never managed to ram Darius off the canyon. It seemed like his car was heavy as a truck every time I hit him, so I always beat him the 'intended' way
I have always beaten Darius clean. My mentality is that fighting dirty would make you no better than him, and he deserves to be humiliated fair and square. I did it in a Cuda. Powerslides for days.

IIRC the only reason the M3 is an Exotic is the manufacturer (BMW _is_ a german manufacturer, after all)

This came came out so close after F&F Tokyo Drift was released that I want to believe the developers saw the canyon race scene and stole that idea immediately for this game.
I know they were actually TOO close together so it must be a coincidence but I still think it's pretty funny.

I never managed to ram Darius off the canyon. It seemed like his car was heavy as a truck every time I hit him, so I always beat him the 'intended' way
I have always beaten Darius clean. My mentality is that fighting dirty would make you no better than him, and he deserves to be humiliated fair and square.
