It was about only a quater long of what most wanted was, the police was annoying and basically didnt serve any purpose. you could finish the game in less than 4 hours. Id be down for a remake solving these issues and improving and adding new cool things, EA already did it, the idea behind NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 was because the original hot pursuit wasnt good and the 2 was good but pretty different.
The 2 best nfs in my opinion people who liked fast and furious Tokyo drift more than 1 and 2 tend to like carbon more while the opposite like most wanted more still both are great games and we are lucky that these games were a huge part in our childhood

In fact, the government mandates the use of electric cars. So, being the only outlaw you are, you head to your secret garage where nobody, not even the government knows. Inside, a silhouette of a car you dreamt of glistened by the ceiling light. You open up the cover, revealing a beautifully crafted Dodge Charger R/T, with a supercharger poking out as if it was your long lost buddy. Opening up the door, you said "one last ride". Turning on the engine, hearing it roar to life is music to your ears. That's when you decide, you wanna tear down the asphalt one more time.
Omg this is a core memory for me. Grew on on this game along with MW ‘05, ProStreet and Undercover. I remember being on the brink of sleep while in the car customization screen and hearing this. Would nod off and then 00:48 would wake me up a bit, I’d spin the car around a few time but ultimately nod back off again 😂 I loved these games.

Samoel Minkevich I used the C6 Z06 because ever since I saw the first concepts of the Z06 I was in love with it and I'm glad they made it a beast in the game. Back when I played the game on PS2 I remember how easily I passed him right in the first corner haha good times! Ironically the C6 Z06 is also faster than any R8 in the real world, too! Truly an american master piece!
Only 5 min, i could listen to this all night dude! Also liked the exotic and turners theme. This game had an atmosphere that no racing game ever had. Underground 2 and Most Wanted (2005) had a cool atmosphere, Carbon was something like: make one mistake and its over.

Well to be fair muscle is the best starting class in the game since angie is the easiest boss to beat with the tier 1 cars and the tier 1 muscle cars actually beat the other bosses somewhat easily

The lack of power leaves little room for mistakes, however. Exotics are balanced. Midway between muscle and tuners. Their main strength is top speed, or rather their ability to continue accelerating near their top speed. Trying to maintain such high speeds require a whole new level of skill, primarily reaction times.

As an OG Gran Turismo 3 player at 3 years old, i used to deeply dread a "car" i used to call the "clown barchetta" because it would be damn near impossible for me to reach it while doing arcade races with the Team oreca. It always gave me vibes as you open a garage door and see all your homies see you then smile then all start to work on their cars as soon as the beat drops and everything slows down as you see the Sparks coming off the wheels and stuff meanwhile hear the sounds of the other homies tuning their muscle cars. I know I missed the "golden" age of nfs but compared to MW and Underground this game always seem more interesting to me with the whole thing with the crews, canyon races, and car selection. Wish I could've played it.

Mainly because they're blown out of proportion, the stories are good and so is the soundtrack, but car selection and customization are definitely overhyped.

Nostalgia be damn real, brings me back memories back then I remember customizing my badass muscle car back then while this was playing. It always gave me vibes as you open a garage door and see all your homies see you then smile then all start to work on their cars as soon as the beat drops and everything slows down as you see the Sparks coming off the wheels and stuff meanwhile hear the sounds of the other homies tuning their muscle cars. Like shit is about to get real.

I know I missed the "golden" age of nfs but compared to MW and Underground this game always seem more interesting to me with the whole thing with the crews, canyon races, and car selection. Wish I could've played it.

@@Ferrari255GTO Well now I have actually played MW 2005, Carbon, UG and UG2, which don't get me wrong they are fun games, but I will admit that from what people have told me of them, they're a bit overrated. Mainly because they're blown out of proportion, the stories are good and so is the soundtrack, but car selection and customization are definitely overhyped.
Man, i was forgeted about this theme for some years, is one of the most nostalgic themes for me, chilhood, ps2, school, such a great time
