Absolute gem. A masterpiece. This song fits the game too perfectly. So emotional, sad, especially after the official servers were closed down. Just thinking about all these empty roads, with no other player than you with this song playing in the background makes me tear up.
I remember the time I was sitting with my NFS World friends and looking at the game ending, "Thanks for the game guys, see you soon...", and then I got the error about game shutting down. I won't forget this game.
the thing is i get sad every time i hear this but not because that the servers are down but because i never had a PC to play it when they were still up. I'm planing to get a windows PC this year and play the hell out of this in Soapbox Race World. edit: my dad got me a gaming laptop for my birthday and I'm having the time of my life!

thankfully soapbox and nightriders has stepped up and revived the game... i have it installed and playing with 50 others in the nightriders server. and on the openworldpl server theres like 200. This game is still alive and revived. im so thankful ;)
The servers were working and then they stopped working for me. It's a waste of time if your playing it now. It was far better off being run by ea. They should have let it stand. They ruined a good racing community. Letting down their users

Now with community run projects to revive the game, the game isnt pay to win any more, so all of the premium content is now free, not to mention new content gets added regularly aswell.

This was the game that sent Blackbox with a bang. The last most badass NFS they made before EA pushed the "yearly release" narrative. Now we getting close to 2024 and haven't had a badass NFS since World. I miss having loads of customization. Now we get maybe 10 customizations per part or bodykit and that isn't enough IMO (scrap the wheels, that's not actually enough for customization).
A 2010 Masterpiece from EA and QuickLime Games(aka the old EA Blackbox studios rebranded), which was destroyed by the EA just because the game is not making part anymore of the "modern shitty graphics and games standards" .
