    I rec garnier fructis sleek and shine intensity smooth leave in conditioner it works great on dry frizzy hair not to mention its inexpensive at about four dollars it really absorbs into my hair and leaves it moisturized I'm also low porosity and protein sensitive I love this leave in its a staple another of my favs is creme of nature Argan oil buttermilk leave in hair milk it moisturizes and has great slip this combo keeps my hair moisturizes for a week in a wash and go for days in twists

      Jennifer Taylor I was going to get the creme of nature buttermilk bc I read great reviews but they have an insoluble silicone in the ingredients and they tend to build up on my hair very bad, it doesn’t do that for your hair ?

    I think its awsome that now a days we have soo many options for our natural hair instead of only petrolium based and mineral oil based products.. And we finally have that knowledge for our hair care.. I use to think us kinky folks couldnt grow long hair but it was really the shitty products and techniques that we were using.. And hey if hair grease still works for you than use it you gotta do what works for you. thats grease use to clog my scalp up and give me nasty dandruff i dont miss those days smh 😔

    Thank you for the vlogg I wish I knew about you March the 1st 😀😀 I cut off my bra length hair to almost bald because of protein overload, it was itching and burning and giving me headaches because I had so much hair. My hair was growing like weeds but it was straw like and coarse and it even damaged my scalp even though i knew it was low porosity only 1 video came up about protein sensitivity. But I love my new look but I will start using those products as soon as I need them.

      Loulou Willis hi. Just read your comment. Were you also using coconut oil? I'm asking because my hair was growing so good and I got all excited about coconut oil. Started using it and my hair started breaking down, out, up and off. I'm protein sensitive and coconut oil acts like protein in my hair.

    • @loulouwillis5648
      @loulouwillis5648 6 лет назад +1

      Yes I was!!! I found out that the protein and coconut oil together is not good at all when you are protein sensitive. My shampoo had protein my leave in and the eco styler gel did too that and the coconut oil messed up my scalp that it was cracked and brown and looked like I never washed it my scalp was so dry and my hair too.

    • @annalisapostiglione1341

      Coconut oil actually isn't all the good. It's good for clogging your pores.

      @@marquitafreeman9830 Its in your beauty supply or Amazon. I have to use a dark color gel because the clear gels leave a film or residue on my hair. I use to use Ampro styling gel but that is a protein gel which dries my hair out and makes it shed. Now, I only use products with no protein. My hair just needs moisture and more moisture. Good luck👌

I also use the Giovanni direct leave in. I did not see you mention your deep conditioners. For deep conditioner I use the 50/50 balance of Giovanni. I want to try the Paul Mitchel so bad. I use for my rinse out the hairwonder hair repair conditioner and for my gel I make home made flaxseed. I am currently trying the new line of DAX Roots( the olive cream and the Bergamot Butter)

    • @IydaMichael
      @IydaMichael  6 лет назад +5

      SYLVIA STANLEY Cleansing conditioners contain ingredients that lightly cleanse the hair and rinse out conditioners are used to help detangle your hair after cleansing it with either a shampoo or a cleansing conditioner (cowash), then you rinse it off and either deep condition or apply a leave in conditioner. Hope this helps 😀

    What’s the rule of thumb on how much product such as leave in should you be using. I find that leave in & oil work best, but I have to use so much oil for my hair to not look dry. Any way to know if I’m using too much or too little?

    • @IydaMichael

      I woulda say that you can tell by how moisturized your hair feels. I put a lot in on first day so that I dont have to put any more in throughout the week!
