    Sometimes, I sense UG as the last stop! Once, you've travelled and journeyed through mountains of spirituality and tunnels of enlightenment you get to the last stop... that's Station UG. All you can do here is disembark as there aren't any more roads nor rails further ahead.

      I agree Kayo K and as UG. Would say you’s are not ready to accept that . The more of us accept that we are part of and not apart from nature the better just a living organism or biological machine . With layers and layers of conditioning piled on top since we came out of the womb . Just to fill the time Robert Sapolsky’s lectures on behavioural biology may be of interest . UG. Did say we would go somewhere else after him . What an amazing man instead of trying to convert anyone or preach he just lived it .

    There is no other way of thought to tell you that you are a bad person unless there is a good for that. So the imaginary good suppress the real bad and in the process gives rise to self. So self is born out of conflict.

  • @KevinORourke25
    @KevinORourke25 2 года назад +8

    There's a reason why U.G. calls his state of being a "calamity". We have no choice but to go through life as human beings and all that comes with that is fear based. Humans are one aspect of nature that somehow, through the development of super consciousness, became separated from nature itself. U.G. "stumbled" (his words) into a natural state of being that is once again in concert with nature, but separate from what is regarded as "normal" human development. Imagine waking up one day, only to realize that you have lost all sense of what is "real" to you. It would be unbearable. I don't believe that I have heard any comments or dialogue discussing how horrible it would be should this happen to anyone of us.

    U.G. is the best example of a subconscious teacher there is. That's why people always come back. He and Jiddo have the same base teaching only one comes through the front door and one through the back door. It is a shame that the Theosophical society stops with these two. Such absolutely stimulating thoughts to the point that nothing else comes close but the Bible which they have made so completely new for me. What deeper insights these men have given me with regards to what is being said in there. It truly is ironical that every talk these 2 give is scriptural in the Bible. Did they even realize that considering that thought comes from creation. The only difference is that they are beautifully describing the frustration God has subjected us to. The frustration of course being our thought independent of God 😂❤❤❤

    Argument by UG against meditation - how can a thought be used to stop thought? Well, the idea of sitting silently doing nothing is a thought that works similar to how you use a thorn to remove a thorn. Furthermore, once your meditation deepens, the watching remains, and there are longer & longer gaps between thoughts.

    Maybe I can help those who are confused by UG. The reaction UG inspired in you with these words is normal, and it is ok. To see the really big picture, the ultimate picture, the infinite picture, through, and flowing with the eyes of the all, there comes a point at which the universe and the concept of your human self seem to flip inside out and trade places, rather suddenly, like a switch was flipped, but that frame of mind is so vast you can finally see that the human character you played was just the universe as centered on your body, a flight of fancy in a cosmic symphony. Getting there requires a bit of breaking down of a psychological trap common in the human organism at this moment. UG just tries to point the way in a certain style because you really need to let go of what you are hanging on to. The same as many others have done in other unique ways. Try Allan Watts first perhaps then UG might make more sense. Enjoy the journey! Remember that love is the thing to harmonize with and it will be ok.

    If you get into the space of a snake, it will bite - even if we were not aware of the snake being there. A mad dog will rip you apart; a charging elephant will squish you. And if you fall of a tree in a completely unconscious state - and hence without any fear - you could still be injured. Not to speak of tall buildings.
