Target Stopping Physical Media Sales Doesn't Matter At All

It's official, another Big Box store has halted physical media sales, at least most physical media sales in store at Target. Does it actually matter? No, it does not. Target has long not been a place that is actually helpful or even supportive of physical media, so it shouldn't really matter that they're halting sales.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said. When I first heard the news, it was a massive shoulder shrug, as I couldn't tell you the last time I bought a movie in any of the major big box chains (Wal-Mart included). Back in the days when Borders was still around, their in-store selection was vastly superior to Best Buy, and they completely raised my standards for in-store browsing. Ever since then, even after the demise of Borders, I could probably count on one hand the number of times that I have browsed the physical media section at a big box. Just not a big loss for me at all.

Walmart I will give props for keeping their physical media sections pretty large at most stores. And they're picking up the slack from Best Buy.

The Last 3 Movies I Brought At Target Was Spiderman Trilogy BluRay (HC,FFH,NWH)
Trading Places 4k/BR/Digi And Belly 4k/BR/Digital And That was all in 2023. I usually buy my movies off of ebay And deep discount. And those other boutique are weird and sell nothing but c rated slasher and horror movies that i dont care for movies like killer condom🤦😂, yes they made such a movie 🧐🤔😂🤷🤦🤢🤮, each its own shout factory and arrow releasing some cool stuff but very pricey, thats i feel bluray is still a great grab and very affordable plus they look great on a 4k uhd tv.

Lol! That is sooo sad they aren't going to do media anymore 😕 Hmmm 🤔 Don't care Lol! There is over places to go or go to the Direct site for media Lol. That's what I do because they take pride in media!!
