How far we've come in suspension wheels. Wasn't long ago that we were just talking v11, S18, and EX....and now S22, Hero, Master, Ex20s, and potentially the v13 if we ever get more info on it. It's too bad the rumors of the Veteran developed suspension wheel didn't pan out, though with the troubles of the Abrams, perhaps it's better they solve that first. Looking forward to the new EUC suspension horizon.
I'm confused by your rationale for selecting s22 for value. Are you saying S22 is safer because it has better suspension therefore it has better value? Isn't suspension already covered under ride feel? If that's the case, maybe the value criterion is superfluous or redundant.
I think he was saying since it has higher specs it is inherently safer. With it being heavier, and faster. It should be more stable at speed, able to accelerate away from danger easier, and have better brakes.
@@unwound3719 OK but wasn't that covered by performance? And does that mean that any wheel that is higher performance is better value because it is safer?
@@360vroomers Partly. Features can contribute to more than one category. Just like suspension on cars, it makes them faster, safer, and more comfortable. Features aren't pigeonholed into 1 feature = 1 benefit. So yes, technically a lot of those features are covered under performance. That is exactly why it is safer, is because it can perform better. This is also a personalized list, and he states he does put a higher weight to the safety stat. So safety is twice as important to him, so the value of the safety is greater than the ~30% price increase.
@@thefoss721 I was killing it offroad, I crushed it many times and something happened... it died, motherboard replacement didn't even help so yeah I had to send it to a professional. The repair shop got super backed up here in Ukraine so I'll be waiting 2 weeks for a repair. Appreciate you hearing me out, I did pre-order the v12 cause I wanna go 20kph faster but idk when that is being shipped. I was surprised by how slow walking is btw as I have no wheen for now.

@@EdLrandom dang I hope you get those wheels soon, interesting how the board broke and a new one wouldn’t help, maybe the issue was in the motor or battery directly?, both great wheels though! I hope to ride the v12 some day! And hahahaha yeah walking is kinda lame after riding from place to place in a flash, it’s almost like teleportation, I’d rather ride a EUC than teleport unless it’s to another planet or country cause that would take a long time to ride a EUC to ha
@@EdLrandom and yeah my unit is being shipped already I should be getting it by end of may fingers freaking crossed 🤞 but yeah maybe get the next suspension wheel that’s even better and more refined but the Eagle is gonna be perfect for me I’m way too excited to contain myself 🤯 have a good one!
If the S22 was much less prone to speed wobble I would buy one. The rebound dampening on the single shock and the higher speed and greater torque would be significant advantages for me, offset by the greater weight. Anyone have experience on speed wobble propensity on V11 vs S22 ????? I love my V11 (1,500km ridden so far) but frequently hit tilt back (@52kph) and have been spit off a few times due to speed wobbles in spite of a whole lot of experiment and attention to stability. I live on the side of a mountain so do a lot of downhill riding.
I thought the S-18 was the best first gen suspension wheel? Granted some specs other than suspension on the v11 are better than the S18 , but isn’t the best suspension wheel the wheel with the best suspension? I guess it could go both ways
I went with the V11 for my first gen suspension pick because it was an overall all more flexible wheel. The S18 suspension was better, however its slower top speed and smaller battery made it a bit less attractive for me
@@OWGAC yeah no your totally right, the rest of the specs makes it a overall more attractive wheel, voltage sag on the s-18 is pretty bad when riding around 30, and that’s even slow when more is needed Bought the Eagle though she is currently heading over from China, as long as she doesn’t burn or have a random cutout, all the rest of the little issues can be personally addressed with padding /waterproofing/ slider protection … I think she is gonna last a long time , the next few models are going to be insane though, I can’t wait to see what inmotion and KS have around the corner Ride safe and solid 🤙 love your style!
@@chrisogrady28 yeah definitely agree if there was a wheel that weight with enough battery and a bit better performance it would be by far the best off road wheel, that wheel is so nimble off road it’s amazing and your not ever gonna go past it’s top speed when your maneuvering on trails so it’s still one of the best I just got the S22 and about to take it to the mtns to see how it compares but she’s a tank and it should be amazing , took it on some jumps and has plenty of grunt to not worry about cutout so I’m super stoked
Maybe if KS had marketed the S22 as an exceptional road wheel instead of an off roader, the perceptions of it would be better. People might then be impressed at how well it performs off road. Same wheel, different marketing, different expectations, different perceptions.
The wheel has always been a off road wheel though it rides great over bumps and cracks on the street, the Eagle seems more of a off road wheel while the master sounds like it’s geared towards street and racing , but both will do the job for 70-80% of the riders
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Alien Rides Nikola AR+. I heard AR tidies up the Gotway electronics but an AR rep told me they just inspect for QC before shipping.
@@thefoss721 It's been around for at least a year. plus the Nikola has been around for a long time. But as you know, the Nik is known for being solid, just like the old MSX. The AR+ is a Nik with extended range.
Nikola in general is a very reliable wheel, the AR just add a battery pack to it to give it more range. But lots of ppl here in nyc ride the Nikola and swear by them so you likely won’t go wrong with buying one
Well ... technically, if V11 is two thirds of the price of S20, then S20 is 50% more expensive than V11 (and not 33%). IIRC, you are an architect, trade for which I have a huge respect, therefore I cannot forgive you this time :P So, as S20 is NOT 50% better than V11, let's make it 3-3 instead of 2-4, ok? (:P not that I care, haha, I don't like any of these two, I rode V11, but not yet the S20, currently I am riding an RS HS, and still waiting for a Master with a Monster Pro battery, haha - love very long rides on paved mountain roads). OTOH, good job, kutgw.
Yeah he can't do math. The S20 is not even 30% better than the performance of V11 but it's 50 % more expensive than the price of V11. So V11 has more value for the money.
Exactly lol that’s why I had to buy the legendary Eagle … well legendary for being the first true progressive suspension wheel, this will never happen again for the first time… I had to be a part of it , the reviews were amazing , not perfect but good enough in my opinion , and hopefully no more potential fires
@@jtm94 yes those wheels work, but they can’t take massive jumps and landings, I use the S-18 all the time at the bike park, but it doesn’t have the power to speed up into a big jumps… is it good enough for you? Yeah it sounds like it is. Maybe more Advanced and crazy riders like the Eagle because it doesn’t bottom out on 5-8’ jumps , the s-18 and V11 doesn’t have enough travel even if you tighten it up , it’s true that the Eagle has much more potential to be able to take the gnarliest conditions and jumps and drops , nobody can deny that, just depends on how you mean “capable” that’s different for everyone but the S-18 and the S-20 aren’t in the same category when it comes to high performance riding, that’s exactly why I’m getting the Eagle , it can technically fly above other wheels that have less suspension travel …. Maybe that’s why they call it the Eagle 🦅
@@thefoss721 exactly. Also the issue on the s18 with the small battery and high battery sag was, for me at least, the main reason to not get it. I'm tall and I will ride like crazy through the woods, a small battery just doesn't do it for me. Also, the S20 ease of repair and modular design, and the ultra high adjustability is important to me
@@lefotografion yeah there’s no question about the limitations of the S18 so I can’t wait to rip it with the Eagle, I had to stop growing in the mtns riding hard because the wheel looses its torque pretty quickly and I don’t ever wanna do jumps because of that reason so it’ll be nice to finally have a even better suspension system with double the battery and still apparently very agile . Are you gonna get the Eagle? Or are you riding one now you like?
The only thing S22-24 has now over the competition is still that 130 mm travel suspension. At max speed of 43 mph, you are getting pre-Sherman performance. Innotioin v13 better be a bang for all this silence. Better have a suspension as good as KS S22-24 and claiming to be the fastest wheel, better be a 60mph wheel and better have that 3600 Wh battery!
Those specs would be very hard to accomplish and it would be insanely expensive… a full suspension with 3600wh id like to see but by the leaked pics , it looks more like a master/Eagle wheel, If they could make S20 suspension with Eagle performance, it would be the best wheel minus the bit of range , but then it wouldn’t be a less heavy performance wheel , it would be way less nimble I would imagine , will see soon hopefully I have high hopes for the V13/4/5/6
@@OWGAC - Nobody is forgetting, but with Kingsong's new Inferno Mode well documented in your previous video and the Masters [so far] not exploding into flames it sure makes the choice to stay away from Gotway/BeGode less clear.
@@OWGAC - Then we also have the InMotion and Kingsong cut out problems on their recent wheels. So if you were staying away from Gotway for safety/reliability issues you don't have a lot of wheels left to choose from.
@@threeohm EUCs are dangerous comparing to other PEV. Its the nature of EUC, we were laughing at Begode method of "throwing it until it stick" but its actually the best engineering method through rapid prototyping for something as unreliable/emerging PEV. Don't be confused here, at the stage of pricing now, its either win or flop that's why they are pushing hard to have a winning wheel! Building a fastest wheel has become the hardest part, all Begode need to do is have a 130-150 mm travel suspension with 3600 Wh battery and they would dominated in foreseeable future! The Master 60 mph wheel is the leap above the rest. Next year, Begode would come out with a 70 mph wheel (they already have a prototype!), while you are riding 43-50 max speed, it would fly by you like you are on a bicycle!
I recently saw a video of a review on the S22, and the saddle rides on an unprotected slider system between itself and the wheel. All kinds of sand and dirt get in there and inhibit the actual shock absorption between the saddle and the engine/wheel sections. There is no IP rating on the S22 (that I am aware of), so if you are going to be going off-road or out in wet conditions, you may want to be careful.
Do you know anything about that V13 yet? I can’t wait to see it and the specs, they have time to beat both the master and Eagle so releasing a wheel after those could be a very good idea for the V13
The long wait worries me, EUC tech is fast moving, what was peak performance last year is old news today. I hope inMotion were sufficiently aggressive with what they were trying to built, and not upgrading design midstream just to keep up.. like 100v is no longer sufficient..
@@OWGAC this is true, though I don’t even think they have been able to use the full potential on the master/Eagle, so a well made 126 or 134 or even 100v wheel can be amazing like the RS, I couldn’t imagine more torque than that but I wouldn’t know, only stories I’ve only rode the S18 so i know it will be a good jump from that , there will definitely always be a more powerful wheel, I’m fine with recent wheel performance probably for the next 2-4 years and any more I would consider reckless lol
You always do good videos but. You completely missed the mark from the jump. These 2 wheels are in completely different categories. As the v11 is truly a street qheel. Where as the s18 was a more versatile "suspension" euc. Which is the whole point of the video. Yet the fact the v11 has zero lockout and thus of the bat makes it an inferior "suspension" seems like a stretch for content with comparing the 2. Not only are they different Gens. But there had completely different purposes in mind when they were conceived. Again the s18 and v11 are comparable where all your comparisons are more opinion and paper facts that are obviously known when choosing the 2 down to the price which again makes them un-comparable . These types of reviews don't makes sense‼️ bad for the euc community
You can't blame the content creator. They're just trying to sell the machine for the most part. They're just going by last gen. vs new gen. The v11 is still pretty solid, especially for new riders. If you look around though, the S22 has it's own issues to deal with.
@@Scott-jz4xx excatly why reviews based on opinion are aren't worth the time. But for a skilled and consistent creator I can blame this on the creator. Better to pass then force content. 💯
I was seriously looking at this as an option for my 1st EUC. Decided to go with the Inmotion V11 for entry-level riding. If I was already experienced, I think the Master is something I would consider upgrading to.
Funny how these commercials are made. Basically it was comparation between old existing product vs non existing. And non existing won 😀. S22/s20 is huge fail of Kingsong, I understand that marketing must push that trash as much as possible, but it doesn mean that that community should pretent that they as stupid
Interesting opinion! It definitely exists as we have seen, my unit is already on its way, I’m sure you’ve seen all the videos of the Eagle launching off massive jumps, climbing hills, great road control … I don’t get why some people just don’t want to like that wheel… is it cause it’s popular and has great specs? Is it because you just want to join a side that decided to hate the Eagle? Do you not see the massive upgrades from the S-18? Your mental for calling that wheel bad especially if your referring to the bumper lol or any other small issue that people can get distracted on
@@thefoss721 no, its not avaliable as commercial product so far, so technically is just a prototype, nothing more. Yes, we all saw these stupid videos where kingsong tried to show that s20 has a lot of torque with rider who weight 40/50kg 😀 now everyone knows that ot lack torque as hell, no proper stopping power etc. Poor range etc ... so from technical point of view is just piece of crap... in terms of qualify it is even more pathetic
@@MrPoliarinis dang man you sound pretty sure of yourself about the Eagle … I’ve seen probably 10x more good reviews than bad so maybe way more people are dumb than smart? ;) And nooo production units are already shipped mate, mine comes next week so they are definitely done and fixed and upgraded to 22 lol but I’ve seen plenty enough to know that it’s a perfect off road mtn wheel, lots of heavy guys took the wheels on massive jumps, range tests, torque is fixed, I’m sure breaking is helped with the new firmware…. I would consider giving the wheel and king song some credit, it’s not a begode wheel, it doesn’t need street racing torque, it’s not really a street wheel so comparing it to the master or RS is kinda silly if that’s what your doing , maybe just say “I like street wheels more” compared to saying this wheel is horrible lol, you definitely haven’t convinced me but good try, it’s not perfect but nothing is here on earth besides love , so love these wheels and the amazing advancements they have like the Eagle compared to the S18, massive jump in ability!
@@thefoss721 The S22 doesn't even have an IP rating. The sliding mechanism between the saddle and motor/wheel which absorbs the suspension is totally exposed. If you are going to be doing any kind of off-roading with the S22, you will have to keep dirt out the tracks that the saddle part rides on above the wheel. It may look pretty cool, and there's a lot of videos out there making it look awesome- but buyer beware. If you want to offroad with this machine- you will be putting a lot of maintenance into it long-term.
@@Scott-jz4xx those issues are small and with a lil maintenance, waterproofing/ CLP/ silicone / padding and a protective layer over the sliders , I don’t see this wheel having any issues as long as it doesn’t randomly cutout (which KS wheels haven’t so far), or any fires happenings, but I’ll take the specs and the wheel, suspension system just how it is , there hasn’t been a perfect wheel yet, but yeah it will take a lil bit of maintenance just like a car , just like a gun, just like a house, I’ve modified a few Devices so im not worried , the S-18 has the same type of slider basically and I’ve put 2k miles and she’s still smooth as butter 🤙

So safety is twice as important to him, so the value of the safety is greater than the ~30% price increase.
lol there's no way I would get king song now that I know it caught on fire 😄
I don't care what new wheels are out anymore, my 16x is broken so I'm stuck with nothing for 3 weeks now Imma kill for onewheel pint at this point
If your 16x is broken wouldn’t you be interested in new wheels? Are you getting your KS wheel fixed currently? And what happened if I may ask
@@thefoss721 I would get s22 but it would ship in the end of summer so I'm getting a v12 inster as I'm really happy with my 16x but just wanna go faster on it.
Hey is the V11 a good first wheel
yes
I thought the S-18 was the best first gen suspension wheel? Granted some specs other than suspension on the v11 are better than the S18 , but isn’t the best suspension wheel the wheel with the best suspension? I guess it could go both ways
I went with the V11 for my first gen suspension pick because it was an overall all more flexible wheel. The S18 suspension was better, however its slower top speed and smaller battery made it a bit less attractive for me
@@OWGAC yeah no your totally right, the rest of the specs makes it a overall more attractive wheel, voltage sag on the s-18 is pretty bad when riding around 30, and that’s even slow when more is needed
Bought the Eagle though she is currently heading over from China, as long as she doesn’t burn or have a random cutout, all the rest of the little issues can be personally addressed with padding /waterproofing/ slider protection … I think she is gonna last a long time , the next few models are going to be insane though, I can’t wait to see what inmotion and KS have around the corner
Ride safe and solid 🤙 love your style!
@@thefoss721 You ordered a S20 from Aliexpress?
I'd take an S18 over a V11 anydayyyyyy.
I really wish they make an S18X with a bigger battery, it's so much lighter than all the new suspension wheels
@@chrisogrady28 yeah definitely agree if there was a wheel that weight with enough battery and a bit better performance it would be by far the best off road wheel, that wheel is so nimble off road it’s amazing and your not ever gonna go past it’s top speed when your maneuvering on trails so it’s still one of the best
I just got the S22 and about to take it to the mtns to see how it compares but she’s a tank and it should be amazing , took it on some jumps and has plenty of grunt to not worry about cutout so I’m super stoked
Ahah « doing this sort of things » 🤣🤣🤣🤣 priceless
Maybe if KS had marketed the S22 as an exceptional road wheel instead of an off roader, the perceptions of it would be better.
People might then be impressed at how well it performs off road.
Same wheel, different marketing, different expectations, different perceptions.
The wheel has always been a off road wheel though it rides great over bumps and cracks on the street, the Eagle seems more of a off road wheel while the master sounds like it’s geared towards street and racing , but both will do the job for 70-80% of the riders
Hopefully you will review the Begode ex20s I have one on order
She looks like a great wheel, first large battery suspension wheel which is amazing and looks like a nice ride
@@thefoss721 I actually got to ride a demo model. Really is a plush ride.
@@nastythomashobbs ohhh nice I take it you liked it enough to purchase that’s good you got to ride it first that’s reassuring
Great comparison!
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Alien Rides Nikola AR+. I heard AR tidies up the Gotway electronics but an AR rep told me they just inspect for QC before shipping.
Is the nikola AR+ a brand new wheel?! I don’t know about that one
@@dlmiller7873 ohhh nice! I’ve heard of the wheel but haven’t had the pleasure of riding it yet
Enjoy!
The v11 on the stairs looked like a jackhammer lol
I might have to suck it up and just buy a fire extinguisher. The s22 looks so comfortable.
Inmotion said we would be seeing the V13 👀 in late spring but I have not heard a whisper about it since it was announced.
I thought it was spring 2023? I believe it was MADpack that said they had confirmed a next year date.
As long as the S18 exists I won't need another trail wheel, just something for the street.
Well ... technically, if V11 is two thirds of the price of S20, then S20 is 50% more expensive than V11 (and not 33%). OTOH, good job, kutgw.
and I score 780 on my SAT math but nope, left all that math knowledge with my AP calculus teacher LOL
Yeah he can't do math. The S20 is not even 30% better than the performance of V11 but it's 50 % more expensive than the price of V11. So V11 has more value for the money.
Whats the brand of all camera equipment and stabilizer you have used in all vids? the 360's too. thanks
So did they fix the s22 so it won’t blow up? Because I don’t want to buy the s22 and then it blow up
i would buy any wheel that doesnt catch fire. LOL at this point any wheel is good as long as it doesnt become fire itself
And end of the year we will see the V12 with better suspension and we will have the same problem like before :D waiting or not
The V12 doesn't have a suspension.
You mean the V13! well no news yet and considering how late it is already I am starting to suspect that we may not see it at all this year
@@OWGAC yea sry v12 is out i forgot about it :D maybe v12plus. I bought KS 18Xl but iam riding 98% offroad but i bought it because its a solid wheel
That's good that it has more torque. The v11 is a goat when it comes to climbing and I don't think I'd like to give that up!
The s22 is better! Better grip, more stability so if you can climb with a v11 nothing will stop you on the s22
La S22 pour démarrer un feu c’est top 👍 !
you cant go on jumping mtb trails with the v11, just not enough power and grip on the wheel. but you can deffinetly on the s20, therefore the price
Exactly lol that’s why I had to buy the legendary Eagle … well legendary for being the first true progressive suspension wheel, this will never happen again for the first time… I had to be a part of it , the reviews were amazing , not perfect but good enough in my opinion , and hopefully no more potential fires
I've jumped V11s and S18s. They work just fine.
Excellent 👍
One thing that gives the V11 and edge. You can buy one right now. The S22 is vaporware.
V11 has a 18" wheel, not 20".
The are the same size. They can use the same tires. Marketing makes it sound like the S22 has a larger diameter tire. It doesn't.
@@pauljr I hope that's true because I have some tires to try that almost fit the v11
Great vid
BeGode be laughing....Master FTW!!!!!!!!!!
Begode v2 air suspension is still trash. You have to pumped it to 200 psi..! 95mm travel is far from enough.
Oh how people forget that Begode is still Gotway with all the Gotway problem..
GUYS Please let me know when he got ran over. His reckless style riding is why EUC got banned
The S22 has to be almost 50% better not 30% Hsiang mate due to the price differences.

If you like v11 , just wait for v13, won't be disappointed

V11 looks far better than the ugly S22

How the heck does the S20 win in value. The S20 is not even 30% better than the performance of V11 and it's 50 % more expensive than the price of V11.

begode Master eats both of them on breakfast
I was seriously looking at this as an option for my 1st EUC. Decided to go with the Inmotion V11 for entry-level riding. If I was already experienced, I think the Master is something I would consider upgrading to.
This, very good idea, learn how to ride first and build up a solid skill base, the more miles you rack up the better!
@@MrPoliarinis dang man you sound pretty sure of yourself about the Eagle … I’ve seen probably 10x more good reviews than bad so maybe way more people are dumb than smart? ;)
And nooo production units are already shipped mate, mine comes next week so they are definitely done and fixed and upgraded to 22 lol but I’ve seen plenty enough to know that it’s a perfect off road mtn wheel, lots of heavy guys took the wheels on massive jumps, range tests, torque is fixed, I’m sure breaking is helped with the new firmware….
