I felt like not enough people had been talking about how incredibly powerful the Ice Shard ➡️ Icicle Spear ➡️ Ice Shard ➡️ Repeat combo is so I'm glad to see this! Glaceon had me right back to masters Saturday after the reset. My fav attacker now next to Duraludon.
One mechanic I love that isn't mentioned much about icicle spear is that the shards will damage anything that they pass through on their way to their target, so you can unite move and target the backline and some of the shards will still pierce the frontline.
I thought if it hits someone mid flight, it breaks?
I've had that bug at 11:18 happen to me too. It's like you become permanently tethered to an enemy mon until they (or possible you) are KO'ed. It was oddly useful during endgame one time when I was tethered to the enemy Dragonite and could tell where he was positioned. I wonder if they saw it from their perspective too lol.

I started playing cool down reduction sylveon hyper voice today cause i got enough emblems for max cooldown max special attack and it has been INSANE. Im fully in the cool down club now I love it. THANKS!

Just coming back to the game. Does cooldown reduction mean faster cooldown for your special moves, ult, or both?
Icicle spear is probably the better move choice because of the combo with the unite move but icy wind is just so much fun
Seeing how good Glaceon's Icy wind and Icicle spear even though you need to charge it with Ice Crystals, I wish Espeon have a better way on charging its Stored power. 3 seconds per charge is way too long....Boosted attack also doesnt help as much. CDR build wont work since the damage of Stored power is based on its charges. I hope that skill will have a rework on the next balance patch.
I think what could help it the most is increasing the max charges to 6 (it fits canonically because stats can be raised 6 times) and add a charge for landing another move as well like when you use future sight you get a charge.
Stored Power should get it's charges down to 1 second to match it's off cooldown, it needs to feel like a DPS and carry move

I swear they should add the option to see which held items the enemy is using, with choice specs and scope lens you see it in the damage chart when you die, and some items give themselves away, but sometimes you think, damn, that slowbro is enduring like hell, what items is he running, and you just can’t, or like videos like this, if you don’t remember the exact items, you just go to some manu where it displays the items you are carrying
even better , there should be able to see past matches recording

@@UmbraStarWolf I don't think Espeon was too boring, I think the psyshock psybeam combo was a cool idea, passing the stun from the original target to others was fun. I think stored power could have been more interesting though. Espeon is my second favorite eeveelution so I was playing a bunch of her before Glaceon was added

I've been running a full Sp Atk/Rapid Cooldown build, it's been winning me matches left and right.
Choice Specs or Sp Atk Specs
Shell Bell
Energy Amplifier
Atk Boost as the held item.
Moves are Icicle Spear and Freeze Dry.
Why freeze dry?
Freeze dry is rlly good in team fights so you can get max crystals at a relatively safer range than single target ice shard. Both are good imo but if you're jungling I prefer ice shard + ice spear for the mobility and single target kills are faster.
@@rayo192 that makes sense about freeze dry in team fights vs the single target. Freeze dry just feels a little clunky to me for some reason, but I'm sure itll get better as I practice
@@siritalis4956 yea the aiming does take some getting used to but at lvl 12 that move becomes REALLY good in team fights. I just want the free effect to kick in 1 second faster than it currently does lol

I actually use Freeze Dry over Ice Shard for extra special attack then pop an x attack and it SHREDS all the objectives on seconds by itself after using unite move.
I don’t think ive ever seen salty Jake before that Tree threw at Zap

Watching this even I already knew this since pts. The combo of the moveset have a good synergy with its unite than the ice wind. Small kinda tip, use ice shard as you use the icicle spear. It will give you more ice crystals than using it before icicle spear ends. Not so big difference but it will kinda give you more assurance that the target will be killed.

Spragz, how do you feel about using an attack speed buff build on glaceon? My rationale was the quicker you attack the quicker your shards build up around Glaceon. I’ve had some success with the build but I’ve also had some mediocre, 40-45k matches with it.

well that is the deadliest attack move/unite combo but it's completely useless when using icy wind. And i love using icy wind more tbh.

@@DuskLegend amnesia, heals every time it lands a move, crazy bulk even before the amnesia defense boost. Plus it actually does such good damage with both of its attacking moves now. You cannot slow the bro

Ignoring obtaining the emblems, my goal is to have 4 Gold Alakazam Emblems and 6 Gold Butterfree emblems, since that gives 12+4% Sp. Atk, 10 Def, and +4% HP and Sp. Def, with no drawbacks.

Wouldn't attack speed emblems be good on Glaceion because you need icicles to use half of her moves.

Most mons it has a very low impact on the speed of it's moves. Some don't even get any boosts from it.

Watching that game reminded me of a game I had earlier where we dominated where I as wigglytuff eject buttoned into the middle path for zap rolled out 3 Pokémon and with help from a cram we killed all 3 so at the point it was 5v2 and I had low health and was gonna die from gengar so I United to live and still died but at least he had a big shield somehow the other team got zap and instead of fighting and prevent scoring they we for counter scores just to get jumped on and no one scoring. Or another game where we got zap we scored and instead of basing they stayed there while the other team scored on us they ended up dying and instead of defending the lead that we had when they responded they went to score more and we lost the game. Back to back so I just quit for the day I had no hope

You waisted your unite in zapdots, and you were stealing the jungle so early, Dont blame the tree for not securing zap
Jungle respawns every minute. It’s a waste of experience if no one is grabbing it. Especially in solo que where you have no idea if a the jungles is coming back for the experience or not

Use ice shard during icicle spear. If you go muscle band and attack speed medals you'll still shoot 10 spears and stack up to 6-8 shards anyways. If you do it like him you'll waste the 2 shards.

@@spragels maybe what he is trying to say is that you can use the ice shard as soon as you use the icicle spear since it will give more ice crystal that way than using it before icicle spear ends. I did that as well during pts and until now. Even using unite I always use both skill consecutively.

Zapdos fights are always a flip i hate it and it's difficult to come back if enemy takes zapdos
There needs to system which makes zapdos not a flip and the players or teams who know more about game can take it 90% of time
zapdos fights are far away from a flip, just learn how to do the zap fight ans you win more "flips" than you lose

Atleast in other mobas it's not 100 necessary to take objectives or there's something like smite that executes objectives at low health in solo queue mostif time it's a flip either someone steals or they don't have unite or they just hide in bush
That wouldnt work cuz if I know tons about the game and you know tons about the game, its not 90% its 50% again, a flip. Unless you get shitty teamates and my team steamroll yours because your teamates sucked in which case youd complain about something else than zap lmfao.
