Tip 11: Be aware of your teammate’s level. If you are a level 9 Cinder, it’s NOT a good idea to run around and steal farm from your buddy, level 8 Charmeleon. You really need them to get to Zard and get that Unite. That is way more helpful for the team than you being a level 9 1/2 Cinder in that moment.
Yep. I'll never understand the inter-team competition for xp, all circumstances being equal. It tells the other player, "You'll just waste this xp. Let me have it." Granted, there are times this is true and times where one player will need it more, but I've seen bad players aggressively steal xp from good players.
I’ll be honest with you, I think a lot of that comes from a few content creators pushing that. Obviously not Spragels, but I’ve heard them say they will not give up farm to an underleveled pokemon because it’s not their fault that Pokémon got crushed in lane and is behind on levels. But I absolutely agree with you.
Tip 10 is one of the most important. I had a game where one guy kept surrendering constantly, because people weren't following him (as a mid Blastoise). But then we won Zapdos and got 300-400 points. Just because you're personally dying doesn't mean it's your team's fault.
So... a day or two ago, I was playing a match and we were winning but this one guy decided it was an amazing idea to try and surrender when I was only one on the jump pad as an opponent headed towards the goal. I was playing on mobile and accidentally jumped towards the top goal while trying to click the red button and yhe opponent scored 100pts.We lost the game by 80+ points
Also there are games that really surrender is just saving time, I have been in games were the other 4 decide to go for first rotom instead of dreadnaw and still lose it to an opponent the 3 times it spawns and the opponent also winning the 3 dreadnaws, got the the zapdos with ball our goalzones destroyed and all of them still up and instead of going for zapdos they decide to start farming and we lose zapdos, so let’s be honest, there is no coming back from that
I play randoms and our team surrenders because they knew the opponents are so much points away that we can't win, even if they stood afk and let us score. In my matches the opponents surrender too when they feel the same, we overpowering them
In the beginning of the game junglers pls dont take an aipom and laners pls dont take the lilipup. The exp is crucial especially so the jungler is lvl 5 for bees
Wow. I was the Talonflame at 9:09 that whiffed the brave bird as you mention to not be so hard on ourselves for not having the perfect plays. Thats honestly a really good tip to remember playing this game when I start having losing streaks. Its just a game and its not the end of the world
I feel like it is fine to break the first ennemi goals in 2 cases, even with little value : to help you getting the drednaw because you cut their healing and you slow them down, it is especialy useful when you try to brun dred before the enemy team come back. The second case is when you are sure to get rotom, you have an ally with a lot of points but the enemy goal only has less than 20 points left. In that case, it feel better to break the first goal and try to push this rotom ro the second one so your ally can score a lot.
Also, I'm pretty sure the second goal-zone doesn't give any extra catchup exp, so breaking that is usually pretty good, especially because it opens up the last goal. After 5 minutes the jump pads spawn so it also gets really hard to score a lot of points into it, so unless there is a big opportunity to score a lot, I think it's fine to break it with only a few points.
Well the thing is, this might help you win Drednaw for sure, but the amount of bonus XP the enemy team gets from having their T1 broken early will compensate a good amount for that, so you won't get as much value from Dred in this case
The best one for me was "Don't be so hard on yourself". Whenever I've had a bad match, or one where we lost because of some mistake I made, or there was something I should've done but didn't/couldn't, I'd start nagging myself in my head. I've even had a time where I felt like I'm slowly getting worse at the game. But okay, the meta does keep changing, mostly with the release of new mons, and the slow smoke buff brought a pretty significant change to people's playstyles too. Trying to make myself understand that I can control only 1/10th of the match, and one can easily make and repeat mistakes in a game like this.
I was so mad at myself when I didn't let a ninetales with 50 points score and that costed the game I could have also picked up more aeos energy but I didn't. It bugged me for a few monthes lol. Sorry ninetales and my entire team.
For me. It’s idiotic teammates. I usually go as a defender and get up to 5+ assists the beginning of the round. However, we all fall apart because my teammates are excessively switching lanes or dividing unevenly; 1 top, 1 jungler, 3 bottom. And it’s SO irritating.
@@Toutoudles I hate when I am defending a goal and I am being ganked while my teammates farm the audinos right next to the goal.........aka Machamp user out there...
7:30 Shoutout to that Blastoise for not trying to score, they saw that their other two teammates would get the perfect amount of points and they didn't ruin it just for their own score
Yeah, when I have 50 points and my teammates don't protect me to score the 50 points and they decide to score 10 points and breaking the base or 10 points, the base still good and they leave. I usually go, score my points and then wait for my teammate to leave
Thank you so much for saying "Show up to the 1st drednaw!". newer players and even some masters I play against/with prioritize rotom! I hope this video makes a change so that more people go down to 1st dred instead of 1st rotom because I've been on a losing streak because people aren't rotating to dred (me and my lane bud are the only ones there most of the time)
Surprised as I came back and have been pretty good but I somehow used that too without knowing! It's pretty good to get your Pokémon chose to a high level so you can get others faster. Tip 1 for anyone checking here: always use your two moves as a combo you can just get health down fast Tip 2: never continue hitting someone if they go with a big attack if they run away it is better to go unless they're low and you can just hit. Tip 3: make sure you know the stats of some and not overwork on every Pokémon in it.
As an old lol player, i want to add value to this moba guide :D - don't steal jungle farm, you deny a level to your velocist wich is very important for early ganks and objectives - bushes can make you strike first and win most of the time - camping is good but don't sit too much time - keep look at the minimap to decide the next move - as jungler, slay the pokemon in jungle that gives you the 2 buffs before going to zapdos. - know your pokemon and adapt to the match and teams, changing moves and items depending on your and enemy team. - as jungler f you're bigger than enemy jungler, you can try invade it and steal his farm. This is very effective if done correctly because you deny levels and make the next fight a potentially N vs N -0.5 ~ -1 power - a moba is made with "micro" , pokemon playstyle , and "macro" map strategy playing. Convert kills into objectives like dreadnaught zapdos and goals. - focus on your and not on your teammates mistake, accept your faults and work on them, so that you'll be the one that carry the games. Sometimes you'll be the one carried but you'll minimize the loss. Take what is good for you and have a nice game, ggwp.
Excellent video: informative, funny, and covers so many aspects of the game. Appreciate that having fun is a tip, because it's so true! Hearing these tips and playing in ways that help my team win - that makes it even more fun for me! Yeehaw!!
I really like adding people who played very well during my solo matches so I get to try to invite them for a duo or possibly trio queue. Even without comms it's a bit better than just getting random people every match
Thanks Jake, it’s nice when the entire player base of a game has shared knowledge, just makes it more fun to play, and I’m happy you’re contributing to that with general tip vids like this one.
1. Other tips I would suggest is knowing lane matchups so players know how they should go about laning. 2. Be aware, there is a mini map on the screen use it so one can understand what is happening in the game and where enemies or allies are. [ I glance over every few seconds. ] maybe hard because focus is shifted but its better so one doesn't get ganked by surprise. 3. If an enemy jungle comes to lane play passive while trying to get exp. Defend because if one or both laners die thats a lot of turn in and exp lost. Again could be hard during matchups but dying is worse. 4. Let those that evolve early, lvl 4-5 evolve first so it can help your lane a ton then funnel as much exp into your lane partner if they take exp to evolve, don't be greedy because lanes will suffer. 5. Don't grief jungle because you died frame one in lane due to incompetence, you are hurting your jungle an in turn the team. 6. If you are losing a lot take a break and comeback later. Judgement is clouded when one is tilted and sometimes its better to know when to take a break to come back stronger. :)
For tip 6: usually when I lose 2 games one after the another I leave unless I really wanna play more. If I don't say "I really want another game" I'm better off, go watch some series, play another thing, even play other gamemodes outside ranked
I'd like to see more videos that discuss this level of strategy. Knowing "lane matchups" sounds very important, but how can we learn about what is effective or not?
@@davidsherman8382 I can give an example but it's mainly knowing what other characters can do and limits. A Sylveon in lane vs a Cram. Early on cram can cause issues for eevee and the eevee players needs to be careful with positioning and get farm as best they can safely. MAchop and Lucario, Lucario is a bit strong for Machop but can stand toe to toe if playing right and not in each others faces. Snorlax and Ninetails vs Charmander and Elde in lane. The Charmander and elde need to be aware they cannot be extremely aggressive against this for a bit. This is just a few random examples. Of course there are many combinations in lanes with characters that are hard and not. It takes time to learn and read others abilities.
Actually since your last tips video, when you said "Do not be tilted", I started to win more games, and i'm sharing your words with my friend, who plays Ninetails and he's having a hard time at Bot when ppl starts to do bad things, sooo i keep remind him: Calm, let it pass, and be sure that we'll be able to win if you're not tilted
Great video Jake. I'm quite sure even I don't do all these things all the time but I really hope that a lot of people watch this. Also love the fact that you share all this important information while keeping it light-hearted and fun, truly an amazing content creator. Thank you!
I tend to be really hard on myself when playing competitive games but my partner who plays league told me to change my mindset. Instead of playing to win, "play to learn" even losing helps you learn. Once I changed my mindset to that, I stopped being so hard on myself for losing games and instead focused on learning on how to deal with different situations properly.
Just played a game where we were dominating in every aspect. When it came time for Zapdos the team split and went to score or off on their own. They left me (Cinderace) to fend off the entire enemy team alone. Ended up losing by 50 points. Even if you think you got it on the bag, BE AT ZAPDOS WITH UNITES READY! It is so tiring.
I would argue that the amount you score is highly dependent on the role you are playing. Because small and quick scores for a low HP character are better than not scoring because you got killed before you could even enter the goal...
I really appreciate you talking about all the ways to come back in the game. So many people give up as soon as things get muddy. I've made so many comebacks thanks to the catch up EXP and just out playing a higher level team in the end game. It's usually very possible to bring it back and it's fun to try
Another tip! Dont be the protagonist: if your pokemon doesn't fix the role, then stop trying to use it that way. If you are a defender, dont go out of your way to 1v3 the opponents. That's the job of an all-rounder. If you are a speedster, quit throwing yourself out in the frontlines with no support. Stop acting like a zoroark when you are a sableye LEARN what your pokemon is meant to do and stick to that nature. Snorlaxes don't protect allies They hinder opponents for those said allies to get free hits on em. If you are a spirit shackle, decidueye, you shouldn't be in the direct battleground. You need to stay back and do huge damage to the enemies without them getting the drop on you. If you are a zoroark, USE ILLUSION. Lower your opponents' gaurd for that split second before they realise that you aren't one of them. Use illusion for the invulnerable frames you get (which was added specifically for zoroark being the least bulky pokemon at the time)
I feel like there needs to be a "save your unite!" Quick chat because I've lost too many games when we were leading by a lot just to lose at Zapdos because I'm the only one who still has a unite.
That last tip has to be the best tip I've heard! I had a game where the enemy got Zapdos, but my Charizard and Machamp went to counter-score while the rest of us defend cuz three of the enemies are KOed. Machamp went to their base to distract the enemy since they're bout to respawn. Charizard successfully scored 98 points which won us the match. As the saying goes, IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER!!!
Maybe knowing your role also contributes to winning. If you are a supporter or defender Pokémon, try to give all the first few experience for your attackers and all-arounders so they can evolve faster. Also, know when your character receives a power spike. If you are an attacker/all-arounder who manage to get the power spike early on, give your supporter/defender a chance to evolve. Don't steal their kills. If you are in the top lane, take the very first Corphish spawn immediately. If you're in the bottom lane, kill the Audino. Both spawn in the middle of their lanes and you get a good headstart experience.
On number 10, yes- you do lose every game you surrender. You also have so, SO many ways to come back. BUT- as someone who has played MOBAs for probably 8000+ hours and played at the top level in different games, I think it's healthy to analyze the situation and accept it when it's not going to be a good time, even if you win it might increase your points but doesn't always increase your motivation (unless it's an epic and exciting comeback, but a lot of times they'll have this unsatisfying result or feeling) Winning more is a marathon, not a sprint so keeping yourself in a positive headspace can help you focus on improving yourself and working on the next game, and the game after.
My fav tip was to never surrender. I'd also like to add to that with never be over confident. Just because your team is up and there is less than half the game left doesnt mean the opposite side won't come back and win. All it takes is your team getting relaxed and letting your guard down
Casual Unite player stuck at the same level for weeks so I found your videos and they have really helped thank you. I look forward to applying your tips.
To expand upon the "it's just a game" tip. Have a break! Play 3-4 games at a time, then chill, listen to some music, have a snack, shoot some hoops, message your crush, or whatever. Personally, this is especially important once you have a losing streak, I can guarantee you'll make bad decisions if you continue pushing it without having a break.
Great video. It seems that less and less players are calling lanes now. Don’t know why that is, but it should be done. Usually the one who doesn’t call a lane is going to steal the central area. If they just called central (Even if it’s a good 10 seconds after you called it) you could adjust and chose something else. On principle I don’t like doing that though.
I agree. A thing that couples with this is paying attention to what others call and trying to work around it if you haven’t chosen a lane. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to jungle or lane with a friend, but am interrupted by an extra in the lane. And, don’t afk just because you don’t get your way. It just hurts yourself and your teammates.
It's been happening a lot lately it's usually me & 1 or 2 other payers who will call our lane then the rest of the team doesn't 😩 it always ends up starting with too many teammates in one lane that doesn't help anyone - we lose farming & one lane is always struggling - honestly some players are stubborn or don't listen when u send the message for them to go to top lane like we already called bottom lane & it isn't fair to anyone
I usually do not call lanes since I'd rather let the attackers call it. Since I'm a defender and Idk where they are going most of the time and sometimes I go to the wrong lane.
1 minute left, enemy team has zapdos, all our goals are broken, all of theirs are still up, the enemy talonflame is 20/2, and one teammate is afk. I wanna surrender, two people say no, I want to cry in a corner
Learning to outskill a high defense opponent seems pretty crucial too, sometimes teams think a defender by itself keeps their goal safe and when you ko that goalie when the rest of the team is elsewhere you can unload on their goal for a good 30 seconds
You know I'm the type of person who always destroys goals with like 10-15 points it never occurred toe that's bad I get so focused on destroying goals that I forget the more points I have the better
Awesome video Jake, also congrats on the 100k Subs! If I were to add 1 tip of my own I would say to Always keep an eye on your minimap, it gives so much information and can dramatically increase your game sense and help prioritize your next plan of action be it defense, setting up a push, or going on a farming trip.
Really good tips! There's of course exeptions to when it's alright to surrender.. If your team haven't broken any goals, and you don't have any left and you just lost zaptos, you might as well just surrender, but let's aim to never get that far down the dumps!
On one hand, I agree that people try to surrender when the game is nowhere near over and there is plenty of chance to win. But some people have taken 'never surrender' a bit too far. It is frustrating when you're in a game that has been downhill from the start, you've lost Zap, the other team dunked a ton of points, and sure there is a minute+ remaining but you're down by several hundred points, there is no coming back, but still my random teammates refuse to surrender. I know it's only a minute, but it's still a waste of time that I could be using to move on to the next game that will hopefully go better.
Thanks for the video! There's one huge tip I was really expecting to see, since even at Master rank I see people fail to do this all the time. If you're a Defender or Support (and *especially* if you have Exp. Share), let your buddy in lane get as much experience as possible early game. Don't steal the wild Pokemon kills from them! Trust me, having a fed Attacker and a lower level Support is gonna get you more kills than equal levels on both!
This might be one of the best videos you have. 😂 i’d like to add that these tips are NOT optional. Theyre a must! You cant be a good player, especially in solo queue, if you deliberately ignore even just one of this tips. Some of them are situational, yes. But completely ignoring these on ALL of the games will be detrimental to you as a player. Unite is s combination of skill, strategy, and luck, it’s very variable because of the luck part but at least if youre on the right strategy and good skills, theres a chance you can overcome the bad luck.
When the guy who called top lane decides to compete with the jungler the whole match, that seems like a good time to surrender. When your jungler is 15, has been carrying 50 points since forever and continues to kill mobs instead of trying to attack a lane or ever score, that's a good time to surrender When your team ignores every dreadmaw and vespiquen and hasn't won a team fight yet, that's a good time to surrender. It's possible to have a bad start and still win. But it's MUCH more likely the teammates who play terribly the first 5 minutes aren't going to suddenly learn the game in the last 5.
#10 don't surrender is super important. And it's not just about not pressing the surrender button, but also having the never give up mentality. The difficult part in solo is that sometimes you encounter people who really just give up and not even try to take zap or defend goals
Thanks man, that Tip 8 really helped me a lot, I kinda forgot that this is a game and its supposed to be fun, I kinda struggle sometimes losing 3 matches in a row and I get really mad, but even when I win, I couldnt get the feeling like I used to get when I used to win when I started the game! But now that you remembered me, I bet I can, so, thanks
I'm not finished with the video yet, I actually just started watching off now. But as someone who is in the Veteran class and striving to get to Ultra \ Master class, I hope I see some helpful tips in this video, especially for hard-core players such as myself!
Honestly, your tips for the game on how to play certain roles, really helped to up my game. I've only started to play Pokémon Unite a couple days ago. By watching just a few of your videos, it really helped me to see what mistakes I have been making. I love to play Boss Rush's if I get too frustrated with the standard matches. xD
Games that my team looks really strong usually end much closer due to the catch up mechanics this is an incredible thing as it does 2 things gives the enemies a chance but also let's the game stay fun and not just a curb stomp. I definitely appreciate these tips although I can play the game I definitely make the mistakes of taking exp or ignoring something like zapdos a lot its kinda hard to keep track of everything but it's definitely a whole lot of fun. To be fair I haven't played anyone other than talonflame so I'm usually in the enemy camp fishing for KOs I love fly
The only time I surrender is when every single thing went bad, but that doesn't happen very often. Usually it involves a person going afk right before zap and after.
The "Stop Surrendering" rule should be "Stop Surrendering EARLY" If we got like, 30 seconds, are hundreds of points behind, AND the whole team just died so we lost all the points we could've MAYBE came back with? Please don't make us sit there for those 30 seconds on a literally unwinnable match lol. For sure never surrender before Zapdos, and even right after. But there are points where even if the enemy team were to all AFK and let us do whatever, we couldn't catch up in time. Please surrender those moments so we can accept the loss and move to a new match lol
Spot on video! Been waiting for someone to make something like this that will reach people.. Too many people in masters that miss alot of these points and it makes it harder for everyone
relating to the 2nd rule, it AMAZED me how many stubborn players there are in 1600+ masters. Legit people who will not leave jungle despite not getting the role first. Please, if you don’t get the lane you want and your pokemon is subpar in another lane, pick another pokemon!
I remember I played a game last week We lost all the objective except for the 2nd rotom which destroyed their first goal zone and I got to steal zap and we won by 200 points ahead
When tip 10 was mentioned it reminded me of this one time I was playing a quick match in Mer Stadium with some new players and THEY LITERALLY SURRENDERED EVEN THO WE WERE FAR AHEAD OF THE ENEMIES. It really pissed me but despite my anger for it its also funny. This was just something random I decided to share.
Tip #4 really speaks to me, one of my biggest flaws is trying to wait for the perfect moment. The others I already do, probably because I'm a subscriber.

Tip #1: Pray to RNGesus for decent teammates, especially if you have a high win rate because in the developers little minds 1 good player + 1 bad player are equal to 2 decent players.
The thing about surrendering is what if you end up with teammates that legitimately DO NOT know what they're doing and are playing like they downloaded the game just yesterday. You can't necessarily win if you're teammates are playing like complete noobs, which they more than likely are.
Its only funny when the other team gives up. Any how here's my tip. Down fight pokemon that run away from you. Its a pain and they are just trying to reach there goal to get limitless heath.

Third case: Enemy Hoopa
Well the thing is, this might help you win Drednaw for sure, but the amount of bonus XP the enemy team gets from having their T1 broken early will compensate a good amount for that, so you won't get as much value from Dred in this case

Yeah, when I have 50 points and my teammates don't protect me to score the 50 points and they decide to score 10 points and breaking the base or 10 points, the base still good and they leave. I usually go, score my points and then wait for my teammate to leave
Virgizard
Thank you so much for saying "Show up to the 1st drednaw!". newer players and even some masters I play against/with prioritize rotom! I hope this video makes a change so that more people go down to 1st dred instead of 1st rotom because I've been on a losing streak because people aren't rotating to dred (me and my lane bud are the only ones there most of the time)
i feel you
I still don't understand Rotom 1st meta? You can stop Rotom from letting it get in while you can't stop drednaw from lvling you and ur team up.
Surprised as I came back and have been pretty good but I somehow used that too without knowing! It's pretty good to get your Pokémon chose to a high level so you can get others faster.
Tip 1 for anyone checking here: always use your two moves as a combo you can just get health down fast
Tip 2: never continue hitting someone if they go with a big attack if they run away it is better to go unless they're low and you can just hit.
Tip 3: make sure you know the stats of some and not overwork on every Pokémon in it.
Bro I've had master teammates not show up for zap......I'm there like where is everyone?
As an old lol player, i want to add value to this moba guide :D
- don't steal jungle farm, you deny a level to your velocist wich is very important for early ganks and objectives
- bushes can make you strike first and win most of the time
- camping is good but don't sit too much time
- keep look at the minimap to decide the next move
- as jungler, slay the pokemon in jungle that gives you the 2 buffs before going to zapdos.
- know your pokemon and adapt to the match and teams, changing moves and items depending on your and enemy team.
- as jungler f you're bigger than enemy jungler, you can try invade it and steal his farm. This is very effective if done correctly because you deny levels and make the next fight a potentially
N vs N -0.5 ~ -1 power
- a moba is made with "micro" , pokemon playstyle , and "macro" map strategy playing.
Everything you put out is such great quality! Thanks for tips and content
Happened so many times to me lately. It's like, when I got close to masters, suddenly everyone around forgot what Zapdos was
On tip 10, I think there are times where it's smart to surrender like when two of your teammates afk.
Wrong. I’ve won plenty of games with 2 people afk. It’s not easy. But the 3 players that are still playing have to be a good complementary match.
Stop acting like a zoroark when you are a sableye
LEARN what your pokemon is meant to do and stick to that nature.
Snorlaxes don't protect allies
They hinder opponents for those said allies to get free hits on em.
Why is that saying so familiar?

Maybe knowing your role also contributes to winning. If you are a supporter or defender Pokémon, try to give all the first few experience for your attackers and all-arounders so they can evolve faster. Also, know when your character receives a power spike. If you are an attacker/all-arounder who manage to get the power spike early on, give your supporter/defender a chance to evolve. Don't steal their kills.
If you are in the top lane, take the very first Corphish spawn immediately. If you're in the bottom lane, kill the Audino. Both spawn in the middle of their lanes and you get a good headstart experience.
"Oh No! Uhh it is bad 'cause it's not yellow" 😂
Sometimes I don’t do some of these things myself, so I’m talking to myself as well but I wish more people would see this video.
These are legit the basics that both beginners and master players alike need to be reminded of! Thank you cowboy 🤠
Edit: cool background graphics ✨
That's good advice, especially when it only takes 3-4 games to get your dailies done.
informative , funny and covers so many aspects , this why we come here jake!!
"Geez jake you're rich cuz these graphics are nutz" had me rolling😂😂😂😂
Yes , calling lanes tells that how you intend to play the Pokemon and also helps people understand that whether you actually know that Pokemon or not
It's been happening a lot lately it's usually me & 1 or 2 other payers who will call our lane then the rest of the team doesn't 😩 it always ends up starting with too many teammates in one lane that doesn't help anyone - we lose farming & one lane is always struggling - honestly some players are stubborn or don't listen when u send the message for them to go to top lane like we already called bottom lane & it isn't fair to anyone
I usually do not call lanes since I'd rather let the attackers call it. Since I'm a defender and Idk where they are going most of the time and sometimes I go to the wrong lane.
Learned that you can see when your team has their Unites! This video gave big infomercial vibes, loved it
1 minute left, enemy team has zapdos, all our goals are broken, all of theirs are still up, the enemy talonflame is 20/2, and one teammate is afk.
There's also a video reminder to help check minimap. Every few seconds it makes a sound which remembers you to look at the map
Scoring smart was a really good tip
Really good tips! There's of course exeptions to when it's alright to surrender.. If your team haven't broken any goals, and you don't have any left and you just lost zaptos, you might as well just surrender, but let's aim to never get that far down the dumps!
If you haven't destroyed any goal zones, score 50 points in the forward goal zones for Performance Points! ❓
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful keep up the good work
Thanks for the video!
This video is great for people starting off or wanting to grind ranked. Great job! Also loved the joke at the 5th tip
My top 3 Cowboys in order:
1) Jake
2) Woody
3) Jake
Keep it up you content Cowboy you!!!
I really liked tip #8 super funny and applicable!
I still learned something from this video 600 games later LOL thanks Jake!
When your jungler is 15, has been carrying 50 points since forever and continues to kill mobs instead of trying to attack a lane or ever score, that's a good time to surrender
When your team ignores every dreadmaw and vespiquen and hasn't won a team fight yet, that's a good time to surrender.
It's possible to have a bad start and still win. But it's MUCH more likely the teammates who play terribly the first 5 minutes aren't going to suddenly learn the game in the last 5.
I wish we could force ALL UNITE players to watch this video. Also, a lot of comments of additional rules are very useful as well!
Tip 12: 5 or 3 stack. If you are Solo Q do not play support or defender as they are usually too team dependent.
Me coming into the video knowing that I will probably know all the tips but have to watch to support Jake
#10 don't surrender is super important. And it's not just about not pressing the surrender button, but also having the never give up mentality. The difficult part in solo is that sometimes you encounter people who really just give up and not even try to take zap or defend goals
0:18 when your teammates steal your pentakill
Idk if Spragels will see this but your video quality has gotten SOOOOO much better! Keep up the great work
Thanks man, that Tip 8 really helped me a lot, I kinda forgot that this is a game and its supposed to be fun, I kinda struggle sometimes losing 3 matches in a row and I get really mad, but even when I win, I couldnt get the feeling like I used to get when I used to win when I started the game!
Watching it*
Honestly, your tips for the game on how to play certain roles, really helped to up my game.
That song in the end has changed my outlook in life and has quickly inspired me to never surrender games.
Very good tips, definitely keep them in mind playing
I truly do love watching you every morning man
Thank you!
Thanks for the tip,now everyone know the basics
With hoopa and a character that holds pokemon you can take opponents and rotom to your base. They used submission Machamp.
I wonder if Slowbro with Telekinesis works for this
Tip # 11 - tape your teammates' eyes open and force them to watch this video.
, strap them to a chair too! :)
relating to the 2nd rule, it AMAZED me how many stubborn players there are in 1600+ masters. Legit people who will not leave jungle despite not getting the role first. Please, if you don’t get the lane you want and your pokemon is subpar in another lane, pick another pokemon!
Can't choose a particular tip that was best , all was important ones . Good job jake
Still the best unite content out here , i dont even play the game anymore and i still watch all your vids , 👏🏽 what a long way you’ve come fam 💪🏽💪🏽
Tip 8 is maybe the best tip that everyone needs to hear more than anything
I remember I played a game last week
We lost all the objective except for the 2nd rotom which destroyed their first goal zone and I got to steal zap and we won by 200 points ahead
This is awesome! I used to play Smite a lot and I am learning Unite way faster watching your stuff!
Came for the tips - stayed for those sweet graphics.
Seriously Jake - your knowledge and humor is on point. It's no wonder your channel is exploding! Congrats!
People who call a lane, then go to a different one are monsters and have never felt their mother's love.

Great video, love the tips. I think the most important thing to learn the quickest is to be where you are suppose to be when you need to be. And since I said it a confusing and complicated way they should just watch this video a few times. Also, I like the tip about it being a game and to have fun.
Very informative! I just got back into Unite recently & have been wanting to get better so this REALLY helps! Thanks! 😄

Tip #1: Pray to RNGesus for decent teammates, especially if you have a high win rate because in the developers little minds 1 good player + 1 bad player are equal to 2 decent players.
thx for the game and the useful tips in the comment section!
Very helpful tips .. Big thanks to you jake !!!!!!!
The thing about surrendering is what if you end up with teammates that legitimately DO NOT know what they're doing and are playing like they downloaded the game just yesterday. You can't necessarily win if you're teammates are playing like complete noobs, which they more than likely are.
It's annoying when people don't call lane at all and then 3 people go top lane and 2 people are in jungle
I feel like it's okay to surrender when it says you're really struggling and then they win zapdos and each score 50 pts
Its only funny when the other team gives up.
Any how here's my tip.
Down fight pokemon that run away from you. Its a pain and they are just trying to reach there goal to get limitless heath.
I love the tips, thanks for the tips brother. Keep it up will always here to support you 😁😁👌
Liked the information but loved the song at the end 👌 fantastic 👏
10/10 content. The song was the cherry on top
Hey Jake, thanks so much for the family friendly content! My family just got into playing unite together and it's awesome, and we've learned so much from your videos. I really super appreciate that I can watch your videos with my young boys and not have them hear any naughty words! Yeehaw!
I hate it when my teammates surrender. Just keep trying.
How do certain pokemon do better in certain lanes? Always seems the same for me
The intro is so accurate
This video should be mandatory for all new players
