Just a tip for removal WITH your wiper removal tool... If you put the nut back on upside down after removing the washer nozzle jet from the centre of the outlet (just pulls out) Then you can use a wiper removal tool to prise the wiper arm from the spline. The nut protects the end of the thread as you tighten against it.
I have the exact same problem, the little metal tube inside the motor snaped so the washer liquid goes inside the motor and flows inside your boot door. You have to replace the motor to fix the issue. I'm in the process of replacing it now.

Thanks 👍
So happy I found your channel, watching your trials and tribulations of fixing the Golf really helps me in tackling my ALH tdi issues.... lol
Thanks, glad they are of some help.
Cheers Larcs 👍
Good job 👏🏻
Thanks 👍
If you pull the wiper arm away from the car once the nut is off it should just pop straight off
Yep, it did eventually 👍
Good work..my rear wiper works fine but the washer squirter doesn't..i guess its blocked or come apart inside the tail gate..
Thanks Matt. If its come apart, when you use it, water should dribble out of the tailgate drain holes. Good luck sorting it out 🤞.
@@LarcsWorkshop i never ever use it as i am too worried where the water is going!!

You have to replace the whole motor?! At what cost? Can it not be fixed?!
I followed your steps, but when I plug it in, it only goes to one position, then stops. anyone else have an issue with this?
Not sure, you might have to take it apart again and check it went together ok?
This video almost wiped me out.....
🤣 nice one Fred 👍
@@LarcsWorkshop but you turned it around.....
