Good video. This is what I call my class, “Wire 101…and an Introduction to Wire Weaving”. We make a pendant with a simple two-wire weave and a stone bead. ‘Hardness’ is also called ‘temper’ in wire and dead-soft can always be work-hardened, if needed. Good info about plated and-filled wire. No coating = bare wire.
Great video! Big warning about that colored wire from craft stores, I didn’t realize a lot of it was full-hard.. got some with coupons and it’s nearly impossible to bend lol. I just wanted some blue and gold wire to wrap a blue agate I had… the blue was crazy hard haha. Oops.
