NOTE To determine that amount of 20 gauge wire you need, measure the distance around the stone with your scrap paper or painter's tape and multiple that number by 3. Is this the same as a pickle pot?
A pickle pot is usually used to clean the metal and remove fire scale. Liver of sulfur gel is used to darken the wire and then you remove the excess with steel wool or a rotary tool to help bring out the texture of the weaves. I hope that helps. :)

This is a great basic design that, like you said, is great for beginners! I also like that you use the method to snap off the 28g wire when you've finished using it vs snipping it. Thank you! ❤

Thanks! Yeah, I had some from abandoned works, so they were a little longer, but you can easily use shorter pieces for each component. :) Can't wait to share more ideas!!
