Dear James, RUclips has been putting you and everyone else at Dead Meat through way too much B.S. these past couple of weeks. This is to both support you and thank you for going through all of this and staying good people.
@@RonnyKimmel0815 Videos have been getting copyright claimed or blocked, which has caused a lot of headaches for the DM crew since James had things mapped out a specific way so that the Child's Play Recounts would finish before Season 2 of Chucky begins (it begins on October 5th). Bride of Chucky was supposed to be the Kill Count that went up Friday, but it got copyright claimed so The Wolf Man was bumped up a day so that we'd have a KC for the weekend.
Hey, James. You said multiple times, that RUclips claims are really tiring and stressful, so I just thought that I should support you more directly. Bride of Chucky Recount will be fine soon! :) PS: Killcount is qreat entertainment for most of us, let's give James some support. PPS: This is called super thanks and it's a nice way to show support on RUclips. Also, it is 100CZK (my local currency), not dollars. Which is less impressive than some though, but still much better than only advert revenue from one view.
I for one am absolutely over the moon when yall pull out these old classics for the kill count. I'm sorry you've had to deal with so much copyright bs lately. Yall do such a great service to these movies and the fans of these movies and I really wish the studios would recognize it. Speaking from personal experience, I always go back and watch the kill count movies again after watching the more in depth counts and I always find myself with a new appreciation for everything that went into them. Thank you for everything all of you do.
That tidbit of the actor appearing in Rosemary’s Baby was pretty cool to see usually we see actors from the 80/90s that appear in modern films but it’s pretty rare we see actors from the 30/40s appear in 60/70s films

I know that some ppl aren’t *super* enthusiastic about the Classic Universal Monster flicks being covered (idk why they wouldn’t be excited, tbh) but I love that James is doing the kind and admittedly necessary job of teaching younger or otherwise unaware horror fans of these older gems. Hope to see Creature up on the kill count soon since it’s been awhile since it’s last channel appearance (the pod episode for it was great). Keep it up, James & Chelsea.

James not being able to keep from laughing when he said that Bela “died with his dogs out” got me so good I’m ngl I watched that line 5 times before finally moving on
I heard a story that the move was supposed to be more psychological in that we were never going to actually see Talbot transform, only the aftermath of the attacks, leaving us to wonder if he was insane or not, this idea would actually be used in the movie “She-Wolf of London”.
As somebody raised on TCM, these are my favorite kill counts of all time. I hope someday we get to see James have fun shredding some of the weaker stuff that tried to trade on the Universal brand, particularly the movies Bela made later in his career. Also, for anyone curious about more behind-the-scenes stories, the podcast You Must Remember This did a great season called “Bela and Boris” about these two icons.
Fun fact about dogs and wolves that are used in movies. They often have to use CGI to keep their tail down when they're supposed to act mean, because the dogs are too happy to be doing a good job.

Definitely start watching some B&W movies. B&W cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and there are way too many incredible B&W movies out there to miss out on.
Another great video, I really appreciate the love for the old monster movies. I hope the higher ups, or whoever responsible for the copyright claims realises what the kill counts do for their movies and horror movies in general.

James laughing through the end of his toe joke totally killed me, caught me so off guard as I was listening to the video while drawing
Honestly, I can’t really imagine myself sitting down to watch black and white films like this on my own 😅 but with your commentary James, I learn a lot and I start to understand how these classics have shaped horror movies now. You are much appreciated! ☺️❤️
Definitely start watching some B&W movies. B&W cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and there are way too many incredible B&W movies out there to miss out on.
I love Kill Count episodes on older films, it's so special to watch where the now common horror cliches and tropes came from. Love this stuff!!
Another great video, I really appreciate the love for the old monster movies. I hope the higher ups, or whoever responsible for the copyright claims realises what the kill counts do for their movies and horror movies in general.
i love how you can hear james break while saying “dude died with his dogs out”
8:25 i love that he couldnt keep it together saying that
XD
I was wearing your merch at Halloween horror nights Hollywood yesterday!!! I got so many compliments also I recommended your channel ☺️!!! So hopefully I get more subscribers for you . Cause honestly I did get compliments for wearing the Dead meat shirt 😂☺️

You're A True Fan Dude.
@@DeadMeat You should do a kill count for The Fog (1980)
@@adamkean2243 thanks man honestly Love this channel it's just so freaking awesome 👑
"The Wolf Man"(1941) is an excellent old time classic horror-drama movie!
I'm glad to see you cover another Universal's monster movie so soon to the last one. Hope you'll also do a kill count on The Mummy this year.
We all appreciate your dedication to making kill counts James! Keep it up
I lowkey cannot wait for you to kill count the 2010 reboot of this film, it is criminally underrated and deserved a better box office treatment
I love when James "himboes" himself and gives us free gratuitous partially naked male eye candy fanservice. I love more that Chelsea doesn't mind it.
Oh yeah! 🤤
8:24 I love how James couldn’t even finish the line without laughing
JAMES.
😭 Literally NO ONE seems to care about the G slur referring to the Roma people, I'm literally in tears that you continue to prove yourself an ally to marginalized communities. I love you so much, thank you for putting out enjoyable content, AND practicing what you preach by being good people.
Edit: A swinger joke. I can't. ☠️
Whatever Gypsy lol

Can't type it properly but that's the word...
They routinely engage in human trafficking, child molestation, and murder. But yeah, good time to be PC I guess...
This "marginalized community" is the largest European contributor to child pornography and for-hire murder.
But yes let's be polite to them....wow
James thank you for trying so hard to get us the chucky stuff. I wish it was easier for you guys to get that stuff out because i am so here for them. But i am also here for all the wonderful videos you guys make! I have always loved horror, but the kill count has made my love of horror even more prominent. Thank you for all you do Dead meat team!!!
Thanks for the kill count, James! Sorry about the copyright malarky you're dealing with, but we really appreciate all this effort you're putting in
I am so glad to be part of a supportive and understanding community that truly appreciates the efforts of the content creators and their struggles with the platform!
watching this channel grow for years has been such a cool thing to see- and seeing your life and team progress and evolve is truly inspiring. thanks for keeping my love for films, specifically horror movies, alive. also zoran is awesome, tell him i said hi.
Same! Watching James since July 2017
We really need to keep doing these Kill Counts of many classic B&W horror films. So very nostalgic!
That’s rare I’ve never seen a kill count release on a Saturday
When I wanted to start watching scary movies, my parents made me start with the classics aka “House on Haunted Hill” and “The Wolf Man”. It changed my life. Been a fan ever since. So exciting to see you do this one!
Said it before and I'll say it again, I *LOVE* when James covers the classic Univeral horrors & 50s bmovies. Just brings something different to the channel
