  • A year ago I purchased the plans for this DIY portable pig shelter from Fuller Farms. In this video I quickly show you the one main flaw I had with this design and what I did to easily fix the problem. Spoiler alert: It's a great pig shelter & will be building an additional shelter later this year.

Glad I saw this follow-up video. My goats would destroy this. That metal doesn't look as tough as what I have on the roof of my house, but it is corrugated the same way, I wonder. I think I'd have to have the metal come closer to the ground because my goats would stick there head in there and lift up the whole shelter, and I only have Nigerian.

The metal is roofing that Menards sells. I do know there are different gauges available though. The shelter does a pretty good job of staying in place. I just had to fix the weak points. Time will tell as they get bigger if it stronger this year or not. 🤞🏻
