Watching the calm Jason brings to designing and building things is one of the highlights of this channel. Unlike some other homesteader channels where, when they build stuff, it always feels like a Rube Goldberg creation.
Piggy! Piggy! Piggy! Can't wait to see pigglets on the new place.... Especially the kune kune's.... I am as glad as you are that you didnt give up on them. They sure enjoy your attention. The snack man is always popular but they seem to really enjoy the interaction even without food for a bribe.
Jason, you and Al Lumnah are my two favorite homestead builders. Everything you build is very well built and pleasing to the eye. The wiggle wire is an excellent idea. 👏
Hello, Wow, Elvira is such a good patient and letting you clean her eye. I love seeing your father in-law helping you out on this projects. The 'maternity ward'/ pig shelter turned out great, fun video, take care and God bless..
That grass is looking fantastic! You all are really turning that place around, in just a 1 short years time. Congrats! Hope she delivers her babies soon and safely! Best wishes ♥
Jason, your videos just get better and better. Your attention to the small details of your planning and building is most welcome. Thank you for bringing us along.
You do an amazing job building your animal structures. Always really smart builds . Love how you continue to improve with new details like the wiggle wire. The love you and your family have for homesteading really shines . My husband and I thank you for sharing
Spring is often the beginning of the growing and harvesting season and let's you slide into the months to come.....You all are staring spring with a flash of babies all needing housing; not only needing housing but within the week!
Over the past few years I have learnt so much from you. We are about to buy our own property and I now get a chance to put your wisdom into practice. Thank you so much!
Our Kune Kune who we thought was bred in September finally had her 10 piglets. We were starting to think she was just overfeed. We went out to do evening feeding in the woods and their were 10 healthy piglets. We must of missed 2 heats. Wishing you all luck! I bet she will be a perfect mom.
Hi, Jason and Lorraine!! You are a great builder. I have always enjoyed watching your “build” videos whether it’s for your homestead or for Justin and Rebecca. I hope Elvira doesn’t have her piglets tomorrow night. It’s supposed to be down to 29.
You're so sweet to your animal's. You make sure that Elvira has a home sweet home , cozy and snuggly bedding for her and piglets. I love how you take excellent care of them. Nice to see dad Randy with you. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU 🀄🀄🀄🛐🛐🛐🤟🤟🤟👍 CHOW FROM S E MICHIGAN ✝️✝️✝️🌴🌴🌴🌻❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹 How many piglets JASON ❓❓❓
The love you and your family show for your pigs. Ever the loud ones. Elyria proved you know her quirks. Best place for a belly rub the door frame and outside edge. I had a black and white pig in the 9th grade. My step father sold Wilma while at the football game ( in band) at the slaughter house. That pig was my best freind. I've been know as ellie may all my life for animals 69 yrs. Can't wait for new life piglets, chicks on the farm. Blessing
👍🏻 Brilliant!! Only thing I’d add is a floor or park it on top of one of your rubber mats for the precious contents and all that luscious hay to protect it from the rainwater 💛
Great idea for another mobile structure! I'm in the process of building 2 of your mobile chicken coops. One for my breeding flock, and one for my meat flock. I had trouble finding the corrugated plastic at nearby hardware stores, but we do have a manufacturer of flags and other signs that carries it.
Jason such a beautiful structure, you always build things so tight and so strong with a lot of thought and reinforcement. Love watching you work. Good job.❤❤❤❤
I really like the chicken/pig tractor. I think that is a great design. Hope you get lots of healthy piglets and that Elvira is a good momma. Have a Blessed day.
Really enjoy seeing how you made the change just because it was necessary. I was inspired by something you said recently about mistakes being part of a learning process so I've decided to give my much-neglected container garden another try this year. Making an effort can only be a good thing! Can't change reality: I can only use what I already have on hand and I'm old and I'm disabled and I've had a couple of nasty bouts of Covid that have just about wrecked me but I'm gonna keep moving. Either the garden will work or it won't but it's still worth it to try. There's always a chance of a win. Thanks for the inspiration!
I was thinking "oh, they need Silver" and then Loraine comes to the rescue and applies the Silver! Our family has been using Colodial Silver for over 20 years. 3 generations and multiple furry friends never needing antibiotics.
I was checking this morning for a new vid, was looking forward to see what you were doing for the new pig shelter! Your original hoop hose pig shelter was the inspiration and guide video for my new chicken coop:10’x50’ stationary layer coop/big composting system for my garden. (I’m on .18 acre in a residential neighborhood) Thanks again for that video, watched it like a dozen times while planning my build. It’s nearly done in time for spring! And for the eye situation, maybe you might as well treat it before it gets worse. For my animals I use “Vetericyn Plus Ophthalmic Eye Gel”. It’s safe for all animals and safe if ingested. Saved one of my hen’s eyes! Good luck with the homestead and the mama pig. Thanks 💪 Peace from Texas
that is cute watching the pigs move in the tractor.. Most animals show signs of respiratory infection, with gunky eyes and nose. Keep an eye on her for snotty nose. "The Little Hog House on the Farm" is very nice.
Love watching you. We have raised pigs for many yrs. Over 40. Pigs take 3 mo. 3 wks. 3 days. And it is rare they go over or are early!!!. We could almost pinpoint the hr they would give birth lol. I love the way you guys interact with your cunycuny pigs.
Love it. ❤️ Our 2 Berkshire feeders took their wood house(3-sided) apart board by board. 🤣😂 It was hilarious. Every day we would go out and they had dismantled it a little more. Couldn't be mad though. They were happy and having fun. 🤪
Hint: when Elvira is ready to deliver her babies, she’ll take all the hay in her shelter and make a big nest with it. When the babies arrive they won’t be licked off and they’ll go right to the nipples and start nursing. They’ll squeal and fight over their favorite nipple. It’ll seem like Elvira is in a trance as she delivers- that’s normal. She’ll be grunting too.
Can't wait to see Elvira with her piglets. The new maternity home is brilliant too xjx
Elviria is so adorable! 🥰 What if you screwed a stiff bristle brush to the frame, where she could give it a good itching?
The change in Alvira's grunt of comfort when Lorraine was wiping her eye, was everything. Lol!!
I smiled thru the whole video. Alvira being pregnant is such good news. Her new shelter looks so cozy. Come on babies. 💞
Watching the calm Jason brings to designing and building things is one of the highlights of this channel. Unlike some other homesteader channels where, when they build stuff, it always feels like a Rube Goldberg creation.
His structures are also aesthetically pleasing. I think that’s important too.
Piggy! Piggy! Piggy! Can't wait to see pigglets on the new place.... Especially the kune kune's.... I am as glad as you are that you didnt give up on them. They sure enjoy your attention. The snack man is always popular but they seem to really enjoy the interaction even without food for a bribe.

Al's motto for everything is glue and screw! Too funny! And those cats climbing the ladders?😂😂
Hello,

So excited to see the babies! Elvira definitely has the pregnant waddle down!
Alviras babies are going to be beautiful . Love her new house .
That grass is looking fantastic! You all are really turning that place around, in just a 1 short years time. Congrats! Hope she delivers her babies soon and safely! Best wishes ♥
Love Elvira’s new nursery! My dad used to put hard bristle brushes on a pole for the animals to use for scratching! Can’t wait!
Jason, your videos just get better and better. Your attention to the small details of your planning and building is most welcome. Thank you for bringing us along.
Boy, was THAT a "preggy (pregnant) walk", watching her walking (from behind). I feel for her. God bless.

Jason! You can build ANYTHING! So proud of you. Love to Lorraine.

Piggy finally! Good You kept them! 😊
Piglet Watch!! Music to my ears!
It's a amazing pig palace...
You're pigs are so cute, the babies will be adorable. Useful to know that pigs and tarps do not go together well, and the explanation.
Mobile shelters are great for all animals so you have one for every part of the land you need to move your animals to.
Congratulations!!! New babies soon!🎉🎉🎉😊❤
It’s so lovely watching you build in the big beautiful cement floored barn! ❤

Looks like those pigs would appreciate one of those good brushing.😊
Slick idea using the wiggle wire to hold the tarp in place 👍👍
Very nice. Your movable structures always come out nice.
Thank you very much!
Nice build Jason. Perfect for those little ones.
Thanks 👍
OMG love those Kune Kunes. they are adorable.
Turned out great Jason!
New pig shelter is amazing! I love it. And very versatile you could also use it for calves or goats.
