I bought this tent off your review! I'm over in the uk and bought it for my North Wales motocamping trip ! I must admit, out off all the tent I've purchased, I must say this was the lightest and easier tent to put up, I mostly used the side entrance, loads of room, bought the optional poles for the canopy, I kept the guidelines taught throughout my trip and didn't see any sagging, very good buy and looking forward to using again ! It did rain through my trip, obviously because it was Wales. ! Kept me dry, no leaks !!!!!

Black is cool! I have been looking at a LOT of mountain top videos with the "F" and "H" brand tents. The aggressive bath tubs are a good thing! One guy had a river running through his tent because the storm changed from snow into rain. Because it was night and the high winds, all he and his dog could do was sit on the mat to stay dry. Also I am wanting to see the ventilation on this tent. At 65mph+ winds snow finds ways of getting in.

Hey Luke! As it happens, I was just looking up the derivation of the word "experience" :
Like the similar "experiment", its literal meaning is "out of (from) trial (or try-ing, risk-ing)". So, it's actually not very easy to have a "bad" experience, since we are intentionally taking a risk. But it could be stretching the meaning to say we all have different experiences, since the most common M.O. is to act with very definite expectations about the outcome.
Anyway, "Experience the Mystery" certainly has a nice ring to it -- but you'd have to say its just a platitude. Unless somehow you actually do manage to lose all preconceptions, and meet circumstances with a naked honesty and fearlessness that's contrary to everything that we've been taught. Maybe that's what the sages call a beginner's mind.

Nice, I love the color especially when winter/snow camping...I am assuming that the north end of the tent is the windward portion and the south is the leeward door down stream of wind. Not sure how well it is adapted to cook, ie the vestibule if there even is one. I don't know if I like using my gas stove inside the tent is wise and I did not see any vents if you are buttoned up inside to avoid the snow and wind. Do they even have vents in 4 season tents?

I'm very excited about this tent. If your testing goes well, I'll definitely be getting one of these.

Looks a great bit of kit. Be interested to see it hold up in wet weather & more importantly if it copes with snow load with only 2 poles. Perhaps that is extreme weather though. S & H.

Looking forward to learning how it functions in wind, rain, wet snow. Price and features looks really appealing. :D

The design of that tent is AWESOME. I love the flexibility, too. Color is OK; I prefer a lighter color - price is reasonable for what you get.

Only thing I can say that it needs is a vestibule over the end door otherwise when it is raining, rain will fall inside the tent
Also after the last issues that you had with a 1 tigris tent I will wait until you do the waterproof test. If it does not leak I may consider it for my winter tent

I will wait to see this in snow. The lack of a central hoop and strong end guy lines may result in problematic sagging under snow load.

Luke, are you going to test out the new Cometa soon? I have my finger on the "buy" button, but I need to get your testing completed. You are my go-to camping reviewer. My son and I are going Motocamping this summer...and the Cometa looks perfect, IF it performs. GREAT JOB on every video...and I love how you say Cheers TWICE when you drink your coffee! Happy Easter!

Being a black tent, it will absorb a lot of heat, but the awning gives you extra shelter room for gear. That is so much airflow.
