Jennifer's birthday is coming and I have a trick up my sleeve... or at least out in my forest.

I am building a portable shelter for some American Guinea Hog's that I am buying from Alderman Farms.
It is a hush-hush operation. She'll find out about it on her birthday.
The shelter is 8' long by 5' wide and constructed out of:
(2) "Handy Panel's" - 50" x 8' cattle panel
(3) 2" x 6" x 8' treated lumber
Small fencing staples
Exterior deck screws
8' x 6' medium duty tarp
Zip-ties
The idea behind this project is that we can put the pigs out to pasture and graze them throughout or property, moving fence and shelter one length at a time.
Hopefully this will save us in hog feed and help add nutrient to our soil throughout our site. - Хобби
"How to add suspense to a pig shelter." You sure did! LOL
MotherOfManyHorses, haha, at least I did something right!
I always nail staples across a "T" diagonally when possible. Prevents slippage in the vertical.
Hope it works out for you. I'm not much of a builder so I have nothing to add. Looking forward to Part 2.
Gardening With Puppies, thank you :-)
I am just like you. I sneak off and buy supplies and hide them the best I can to do jobs later without the accountant finding them then I can say "I've had that for a long time." Kinda like Jeff Foxworthy talks about buying a bass boat.
Jimmy in Mexico, lol.
Do you have a updated video of the pigs? Thanks love your videos.
Part 2 is private.....
Jay R North, that is because it goes live tomorrow.
What happened to part two?
Andrew du Toit, it comes out tomorrow.
J&J Acres cool man. will check it out. I am also into permaculture here. But seriously we need some rain this side of the world. Send some if you have.
