      Nope. I had a bottle of 100% pure organic cold pressed (yadda yadda) coconut oil, which was solid whilst I was in the UK but completely melted once I brought it back home. Our daily temperature here is about 30-37 C you know...

    Is there an easy way to peel boiled eggs nicely and easily each time. Would love to know because it's always trial and error for me when I peel the shells.

    Hi Thomas! Any idea on removing stench from ingredients like garlic from your hands after chopping or mincing them?

    • @Joseph1NJ
      @Joseph1NJ 10 лет назад +1

      You could rub your hands with some fresh lemon juice, seems to work pretty well. Or, "Dawn" dishwashing liquid, also works.

    Coconut oil is actually bad for you.. The fat is bad for your heart. If you have a heart attack, one thing the doctor tell you to stay away from, is coconut oil.. A little is OK (like everything else) but don't overuse it..

      Yes you can condition your hair ( be sure to add shampoo to your hair BEFORE adding water) and if you rub your skin with it you will be amazed at how fast it is absorbed. A scrub made from sugar and coconut is marvelous too

    Always pepper it after frying - otherwise it burns, loses all its healthy benefits and most of its flavour.

    Coconut oil is 92% percent saturated fat.For a heart healthy diet the best(and most affordable) option is olive oil that has used for centuries.
    Can't wait for your next product you gonna advertise.

      Some incredible university studies have also shown that regular intake of coconut oil can actually _reverse_ the effects of Alzheimer's in the brain!

      ***** Antibacterial and antivirus?lololol Yes it also keeps the flies away.
      Don't make thinks out of your mind.In Asia the use canola (blah), sesame oil, semi-refined peanut oil, pork and poulrty fat and they are facing heart diseases.Maybe less coz they eat more vegetables.
      Coconut oil is just another market product to make companies rich.
      Olive oil has been used for centuries in the N.E Mediterranean area and especially in Crete.Search for Cretan/Greek diet and you will see.
      MsDinoGal You can tens of ''incredible'' researches for whatever it suits you.For eating tens of eggs,fat. cholesterol,etc.They are all good for you.

    Coconut oil is full of saturated fats. Still a no no as far as I know. It does have a high melting point so from an industrial food point of view it is useful. Good for you? I'm not so sure about that.

    • @Joseph1NJ
      @Joseph1NJ 10 лет назад

      Exactly. From a scientific viewpoint, its like the egg yoke debate, it may never end because there really is no one size fits all answer. Every "body" is different, and different foods (in this case tropical MCTs) effects each of us differently. I don't see any compelling science to start ingesting it if you don't, or any hard science to stop ingesting it sparingly if you're healthy. Just do what's right for your body.
