My father had a skin disease all over his body. Many doctors, including Mayo Clinic, could not figure out what was wrong. I gave him coconut oil and told him to put all over his body and take a tea spoon every day. Weeks later he was healed and continued to use the oil daily.

Coconut oil is great. Although , the same results can be achieved with any unrefined fresh mono unsaturated or saturated oil. Add a little honey and it's even better.

Coconut oil is mostly saturated fat. It does not need to be ultra processed or refined. It is very heat tolerant. Therefore if it's pure ,it's good.

I came to live in th Caribbean in the mid 1980s at which time coconut oil was the oil that was predominantly used soon after that America started saying that it was not healthy, and guess what, soya bean oil along with many other oils now fill supermarket shelves, we now have a high rate of obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes which were little known of, prior to this coconut oil was what was known and used, so people are now returning to using coconut oil.

All you have to do is to understand the past and how all the foods people have eaten and how nothing was processed back then before industry came along. It was all natural from seed to table. Today most everything is processed and cooked in different ways, chemicals added and everything nutritional in our foods has been either destroyed and or toxic chemicals added to them by design.
Ever wonder why sickness and early death comes to millions each year?
Understand your foods and where you're getting them from and you could turn this around.

White bread should have shown (White Bleached Flour) in many products,
They extract the essential oils from the wheat, before making the flour.
This allows the bread on a shelf to last up to ten days or so.
The natural oils in wheat, if left in, help protect the heart and other issues.
Health statistics in the United States show what happened in their population when they first introduced the bread, Wonder Bread, and comparative health issues rose.
The statistics are available, people need to research these topics.

So i started eating more coconut a couple of months ago. I eat it all few times a week in various forms, sometimes even with chocolate. I have lost weight. I tend to go with natural medicine approach, than an M.D. in today's world. The older I get and have to deal with the medical industry, the more I believe that the medical industry is all about the drugs, and keeping you on them, than to cure an issue and get you healthy and out of their facilities.

I know that may be a sign of a deeper issue. For many it is fine. I’m good with coconut cream, coconut milk, and coconut itself. It’s just the oil. I know others with a similar issue. Even Ellen G White couldn’t tolerate beans but we know that beans are excellent source of nutrition. Sadly I love coconut oil but it’s okay. God gives something even better! 😊

I’m a bit puzzled by the white rice issue. Asian diets are dominated by rice and I thought they were very health as a result.

    • @innashevchenko1019

I might be wrong, but don’t Asians also drink lots of teas and incorporate lots of herbs? Pretty sure that helps balance things like rice out.

brown rice is healthy. White rice is stripped of nutrients and has a high glycemic index. The poorer classes did not used to have access to white rice, as it was only the more affluent that could afford it. So, it became a thing to be desired, unfortunately.

Did the islanders consume coconut OIL or not. Do we know if they processed the coconut into an oil byproduct or did they just eat the flesh and water as it comes naturally?

My parents used coconut oil and milk for generations . They taught me to use coconut oil in cooking and as beauty products ig in hair care and body care. I look younger than my age now. My labs are prefect so I go against what traditional ideology says. I follow what God said the plants 🌱 are for food and the healing of the Nation . Pray for guidance on what the Holy Spirit should reveal to you 🙏🏽💞

@@Nitenurs99 Thanks for the reply. I want to use it if it is beneficial, but there are so many people and institutions warning against it, its hard to shake out the truth. You say they used the oil for generations. How did they make the oil back in the day? I guess my question is, do we really know how they processed the coconut before the guys in big sailing ships came along? Were they making coconut oil before. Maybe you can handle the oil better than I because of your genes and it might be detrimental to me. I need a little more info before I risk my health.

We have sprouted spelt bread which is healthier. It only contains sprouted spelt, water and salt. It's delicious, gluten free (due to the sprouting), more nutrients AND non acidic for the body. But it still has carbs. But not many produce this bread as it is a precise process, finding the right temperature to bake it. I live in Austria and the baker is called 'Keimlingsbäcker'.

Grate it, then squeeze the juice out through a strainer. Leave the milk in a warm place overnight and the oil will separate. If you want longer shelf life you can gently boil it till it separates. At least that's how my parents did it when I was growing up in the Caribbean.

She is an amazing woman and does a great work helping people. But in this video she missed telling people that you really need to be careful with using oil (coconut oil included). It's a refined and processed food, stripped from the perfect package God created.
Today with industrial process it is very cheap and easy to access. So people are using for everything in every meal. Completely different from how they used in the Bible times (olive oil) and in the islands centuries ago.
Can you have the same benefits from eating the whole nut? If the answer is yes, you avoid the high fat, high calories content of the processed food.

What about the ethics behind how it is produced for the western world? For example how much the farmers are getting paid? how the people that gather them have to risk there lives climing gigantic trees? how the factory workers have to cut the coconuts open using a machine just one slip up and they loose there fingers for a wage that hardly buys them a meal a day. I'm not judging anyone for buying them as I believe God just showed this to me, but we need to meditate more on looking for in season food that is local to us, at least also were not a contributor to pollution as well. You want a coconut I say? fly out there and go gather one yourself! Then you truly get not only the freshness of them but the spirit of the people and there culture. If you still continue to use your oil just make sure your praing for these people who made it all happen for you with little effort on your part.

Happy sabbath. I changed by mind and took it back after I believe God showed me some documentaries about the unethical slave trade involved with coconuts, cocoa and bananas and any other food from 3rd world countries that is. Why eat un seasonal, most likely forced ripened food that's flown half way accross the world when we have in seaason fruits local to us? I'm no saint I still consume 1 brand of 100% chocolate as the fair trade stats are the highest out of all on the market, it's an expensive little treat for me to cherish. I'm undecided about the avacado right now hopefully God will fix that dilema too, but this is also training towards what's ahead. However perilous it all is at least it is helping me learn the botanical families and food substitutions so praise God for that! @@tinakarras7571

From the video I saw not when gathering only when processing then they risk having there hands sliced. I will still buy only if seriously reduced that way I get back at the supermarket because it's them who are ran by the evil masters and rip off the farmers keeping them in poverty. I'm pretty sure the supermarket buy off the farmer then after they charge there rip off prices.@@PardieDiem
