Hey Tyler, you should go get an E34 5-series. They're absolute tanks and everything is super overbuilt. Whether you get a 525i with the 2.5L M50, a 535i with the 3.5L M30, or a 540i with the 4L M60, they're all superb automobiles. I've bought some of the most neglected examples around, with 300k miles, bad paint, accident damage, etc. and they've all still been quite reliable and have never let me down. They haven't really gotten expensive either, at least compared to some of the other golden era BMW's.
I believe theres a way to convert the SMG to a manual. Seen some E46 M3's do it. You take the computer junk off of the transmission, make provisions for a clutch pedal and lay the lines and such. Maybe look into that
It's doable on the E46 M3 SMG, but in that case you still have to get a new hole cut and tapped to install the different reverse-gear sensor. Apparently the later SMG transmissions are substantially less amenable to the conversion to the point where it would cost WAY more to make the modifications than to just replace with one that has always been manual.
That’s because the smg trans is shared with the manual on e46 m3. Smg 3 is a 7 speed on the e60/e63 cars not a 6 speed, so it’s not something you can just remove the hydraulic system on and have a manual car. Needs a full trans swap.

That doesn't inspire confidence.
Love it! I worked at a BMW dealership back in the day. When these X6M's were new they had major issues then. Glad to see no more!
THIS is the hoovie content I've missed so much. Thank you for burying that POS appropriately.
If I was in Hoovie’s shoes with the x6m i would have done an N54/N55 swap with upgraded turbo. That’s still a big investment but not as bad was getting an M motor.
Now you FINALLY did the right thing with that BMW, those cars are chariots from hell, you gave it a proper burial and no one else will ever be cursed by it.
This is the correct response to almost every BMW over five years old if made this century
I've been there before. I think I would have burried the Outback XT I bought about a decade ago if I could have. It's long gone, but the memories remain.
I think the best fix for a BMW is to LS swap it. Or if you got the money put in a hellcat engine. It would be fun.
I was just coming to the comments to say this. LS swap and put in some coilovers to fix the suspension
Bots always say the say thing -
@@ahmadaomar91 it would be the perfect fix
@@naradaian Bots?
My boss Ls swap his old Jaguar, because it was slow and too many issues
I really want to buy it from him😂😂😂
Whislin Hoovie!
Now that you have a farm you could review side-by-sides and tractors/mowers/ventrac. Would be useful on the farm
Wow what an original idea for a video. Never seen that before.
Seeing you buy cars makes me feel better about my own spending habits
Why would you lock the doors? There is no chance the doors will have power to unlock them after the battery dies.
It’s not like he won’t be able to put his hand through the window and unlock it you do realize everyone of those windows is going to be busted out. The roof is going to be caved in on its self, he can lock it all he wants it’s not going to start year from now and it’s not going to have any windows left in it
Maybe it close automatic
You can still use a key.
It was a joke......🥱
Just use the key to unlock it later, The key is inside the fob.
This is total Performance Art. You have sculpturized the BMW. Reminds me of the '59 Cadillac encased in concrete down at the University of Chicago.
When I bought a CPO BMW at a dealer in 2009 the salesman said, “We don’t sell cars we sell BMWs.” Later, after a plethora of issues and snotty service I said I’d never buy another Ultimate Disaster Machine. Very satisfying to watch this.
After burial, Tyler realizes his cellphone is still in X6 😂
The BMW was hard to start when it was above ground.
Good job on going BIG with the garage !!
Hoovie out here just enjoying the hell out of a few acres. Good job my dude!
Let’s gooo part 3 on bearing a car 😂
I was hoping to see another video like this. I think you should unlock it now that it still has battery power, in a year it’s 100% gonna be dead and you won’t be able to open it because it won’t unlock
Tyler, I love you do.
It is great that you are able to do what you do. I am envious.
Keep being this bizarre, but entertaining content.
*do what you do
Hey Tyler, you should go get an E34 5-series.
Maybe look into that
Or at least swap bell housing from smg,
It's doable on the E46 M3 SMG, but in that case you still have to get a new hole cut and tapped to install the different reverse-gear sensor.
What ever happened to the building he bought maybe a year ago that he drove a car inside to make sure the floor could hold the weight
Ex probably got it too
The m6 is clunky because of the sleeve and throw out bearing. Once you have the transmission out. Replace all of the seals.
15:26 min - thanks Hoovie!! 😄😄😄😄👍🏾
Could you save the x6 with the engine from the 6series you are taking the transmission from-
It still wouldn’t be an X6M
He's not doing that anymore. He said in this video that the transmission isn't the right one.
@@volvo09 yeah I finished watching the video- waste of an x6 but it was bad and not worth it- the 6 series are a beautiful addition to the roster-
There are bell housing adapter plates
Surely been considered?
Oem or aftermarket. Provide more info to help our hoovie ❤❤
Buying the wrong parts car is a mistake I would make. That's why we love you Hoovie.
I can’t see any other comments but I appreciated the nod to the past with the old music! I think I actually missed that tune.
I would have loved to have that X6.. shame to see it die:(
I'm surprised the EPA hasn't tuned in yet! There's no way burying a toxic POS like that is gonna slip by them
It’s his property dummy
Yep! That's contaminated souls. But also his property..
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 yo real tears
Lol hey I don’t jinx him go knock on some wood🤣
Tell me you haven’t watched his past videos, without telling me😂😂😂
BMW will never advertise here.
New neighbor moves in next door. "Hope they are not a serial killer who buries bodies on there land" Hoovies........Evil laughter as he buries bodies on his land.
