How the heck is everyone quilting the 1.5 yards of main fabric, soft and stable, and the inner fabrics? I'm having a very hard time with such a large size. Did anyone cut the pieces first?
I always cut the pieces first. I rarely quilt them, as the pockets, bag handles and any other add ones, and the soft and stable which is a nice quality, makes quilting not necessary. But if you just quilt lightly, just make your pieces about 1 inch bigger both width and length.

You could but you would have to cut the pieces bigger since they shrink when u quilt it
