𝘼𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨: 𝙂𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙉𝙂. 𝘼𝙩 𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙍, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚!
This time last year, we rescued Nong Tang, then 7 years old, from a life of misery and despair at an animal attraction outside Bangkok. She was no longer deemed cute enough to make money off tourists for photos and was too young to go into the elephant trekking industry like her mother.
When we heard about Nong Tang's plight, we decided to visit, and upon seeing Nong Tang, we knew we had to act!
Now, Nong Tang lives happily at PENR, surrounded by Lotus, Bow, and Thonglor, who look after her, and staff who genuinely love her. We are so blessed to have met Nong Tang and be able to do our bit to make a difference in this world!
