And, he's showcasing it on one of his favorite driving roads in the world, just a few miles from his home in downtown L.A., Angeles Crest Highway. Tune in to find out why this Swedish rocket ship makes the cut as "The Big Thing."

I say this with respect. That super aggressive wrap actually hides a lot of the aggressive design of that car. It looks way more aggressive in its factory color scheme.

Amen. Every one of these muppetwraps like this (no matter if its a japan special motive) it DO NOT fit on any car.
Dunno how many clips i seen and get embarrarassed blushing all over due to this "splash NO taste" wraps making good looking cars
almost as ugly as the most ugly car - the veyron.
Another thing is the new hothatches and alike, as the racey cars they are... oops were.
So embarrassing to see some "cool" guy in a racey car, but as soon it's time to shift you realize it's an auto gearbox 😅
Stupid manufactuers but stupid "race"car buyers accepting that as no matter how fast it shifts, manual gb cant be replaced
if you gonna DRIVE your car, not just "go by car"

My dad lived next to the airfield and he visited it when it was still a military base and why it called ghost squadron is because of during the nights the swedish pilots were training so hard and dangerously at an altitude of 98feet over land and 65 at sea so sometimes windows would shatter during the nights and just come blasting overhead.

I always loved the look of the CC8S and the CCR, CCX and CCXR with the more iconic 80s look. When i first saw the One:1 and later the Agera, especially the new front with those lights looked too fancy to me. The Regera on the other hand, looking at it since the first time, always felt like looking at a piece of art. To me it is one of the most beautiful cars, i have seen. And after all this time, i got to say, i started to even like and love the looks of the Agera.

2:43 I’m watching this with subtitles and I haven’t quite finished the episode, but this Agera RS actually came with 1340 hp, instead of 1160 hp, as part of the RS’s 1MW option which swaps in the One:1 tested engine

    • @sehajkaler9285
      @sehajkaler9285 2 года назад +11

And Bugatti didn’t take back the production car record, it was a pre-production prototype, so it’ll differ from the production models (maybe it’s just missing some mirrors, who knows. But until the mirrors have been added, and a customer’s car has been tested, it’s not a production car record). It’s just a stunt, nothing more, maybe even less. Currently the SSC Tuatara has the production car record, but we don’t really talk about it because of its controversy (and it barely beat out the Agera RS’s 277.9 at 282.9 mph with 30% more hp; 1750 hp total)

    • @Amarjit_Singh

@@sehajkaler9285 Small corrections, the 1MW update bumped the power to 1360hp or 1360PS or 1341bhp.
The SSC Tuatara's record might not be considered for production cars now because SSC afaik weren't able to manufacture the minimum number of units required for production car eligibility within a time period of 1 year starting from the day of the record which was in January 2021.

@@Amarjit_Singh ah, I was not aware of that for the SSC Tuatara, thank you! Then I guess the Agera still reigns!
Hp is a weird measurement because you can present it with mechanical losses or without losses (hp vs bhp, and I don’t know which is which. Though I guess manufacturers will cite the highest number they get). And, 1 metric horsepower, or PS, is like 0.986 mechanical horsepower, so I don’t know which one we refer as hp. I guess PS would be the best measurement to settle with, so yeah 1360 PS

Looks like Hagerty got their facts wrong. The engine is NOT twin turbo as they state in the video at 2:40. If anyone bothered to check they'd see that Koenigsegg's are twin supercharged. There's a big difference between turbocharging and supercharging. This Agrea RS is a evolution of the CCX. If you liked this, I'd highly recommend watching Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson review of Koenigsegg. Thank you.

Given that there's 27 units (25 customer cars + 1 rebuilt crashed car + 1 factory car) and being a very bespoke car built with exotic materials as well as being the fastest production car record holder, the current value shouldn't be surprising.

I'm so sad there's not more videos of Koenigsegg cars being driven hard. I used to obsess over these videos A few years back of a Koenigsegg absolutely demolishing a Bugatti Veyron in a very high speed rolling race. The way that cone except just walked away completely blew my mind

I don’t wanna be rude or anything, just a small note, the car that broke the world record had the megawatt engine in it (1360 hp), in the facts presented early in the video it said 1160 hp, that’s not the megawatt engine.

Officially, SSC Tuatara is fastest. Id like to see the SSC do a run on a track as long as the one Bugatti used, because it had way more in the tank at 286mph. It only stopped because of lack of track length

However, she never said jack squat about staying away from him if he's driving a Koenigsegg's Agera RS. I like Snickers and peanut M&Ms. Just saying...
