WOW- she fell and didnt qualify in 04-she fell and got blamed for losing it for us in 08, and yet she still has the courage at her age to come back and win the gold yesterday on Vault at the Worlds. I love you Alicia. She's aiming for 2012, where she will be even older then. This girl is AMAZING!
everybody does i thing...this is really emotional...we cant imagine how much pressure is that....that is something for what ur preparing your whole life...and than...one little mistake,and ur gone...i admire her cos many gymnast retire before their second chance...cos they retire young,and olympics are every 4 years...she make it...SHES AMAIZING GIRL....big inspiration to me
I love Alicia, but that's not completely true. Her score could have been almost a point lower than it was and they still would have won. It wasn't her floor routine that gave them that advantage, but the whole team's performance on the day. It was the routine that sealed the deal though. :)
She’s great. She’s not a robot, she a mature person and athlete. I feel like almost all the other athletes are like robots when they are interviewed. “It’s such an honor…I did my best and it *happened* to be good enough.” Lol really?
'if' Alicia doesn't fall twice on team final, American team will get.............the silver medal. Don't you see team qualification results? The chinese are 2 points ahead then US. yes liukin and memmel fall at qualification but he kexin fall too. and still its 2 point....
People can't do simple math I suppose. It's so annoying!!! She didn't solely cost the team anything. The Chinese had a sizable lead on the US regardless.
