I noticed how easily and naturally you asked those fans, "where are you from?" And they were delighted to tell you! We love your videos, we miss UK. Thank you so much for the information and the fun!!
I guess im randomly asking but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Ahmed Raiden I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Remember the massive floral tributes outside Kensington Palace for the Princess of Wales. I had never seen anything like that before or since then. Was a beautiful yet heartbreaking scene. Thank you for including a snippet on her. 💙
I don’t know how I ended up here but I’m glad I did. My mums grandmother lived in London and worked for the war office back in the day. She used to take my mum to see the Peter Pan statue and tell her all the tales of the area so this was an unexpected pleasure to watch. You sir, have a new sub. Many thanks
Nothing I enjoy more than to hear a pip pip in the evening and then a lil sip sip while watching Joolz tell me the short and tall tales of various areas of London. All with class and dignity as all tours should be done. I tip my hat that I currently am not wearing to you fine sir.
Droll and sublime replete with anecdotes and esoteric references that, in fact, we Englanders can all recognize. Very funny and smart, Joolz, thanks a bunch for your tours.
My wife and I LOVE your videos. We are Canadian and we will be in London for the first time in March 2020. Your videos have been SO instrumental in planning our vacation! Your out-of-the-way-little-known-museums-and-churches videos really helped us to plan a very different trip than the average vacationers. We will be staying in an apartment near Marble Arch, so seeing this video about Kensington Gardens was a lot of fun, just knowing it's so close to where we will be staying. Keep on doing your videos, they are so informative and entertaining!
London has more parks than any other large city, they are one of the City’s great assets. Some of the smaller ones that are called squares are only open to the residents in the adjoining houses/apartments.
I absolutely love your stories and all the wonderful places you show us. Thank you. I’d love to go to London, and for sure ask you to kindly guide us around!
Brilliant vlog as usual. Because of this youtube stream I have given up a valuable week of my holiday entitlement to walk around London to experience all you've shown me. Best week ever. Thanks. Love your sister's music too.
Been a few years since I visited Kensington Gardens found a nice quiet spot for a rest and it was not long before a squirrel came and sat on my shoulder. It was memorable.
Hello, Joolz. When I was earning my postgraduate degree at Imperial College, I lived by Bayswater, and walked daily along Broad walk in Kensihngton palace's Garden. In summer of '81 I heard for the first time, al the Cricket grounds, next to the Albert Memorial, from a canopy a brass and wind band, Wonderful. And my kids loved to feed the birds pieces of broken wheat seeds bought in loco. Thanks, for the fond memories, Julian.
Nice to see you again Mr Joolz. I pray you're not getting bored with doing these and I hope you can find time for other historical sites. Your commentary is unrehearsed and so matter of fact. THANKS SO MUCH. 👍🏻😊💓🙏🏻
"London is a xxxxhole" etc. REALLY ? LONDON IS BEAUTIFUL..I am 65 and lived in Inner South East London until 1983 and Outer London/Kent for the last 36 years and they will have to carry me out and away from my beloved London. All 33 Boroughs have beautiful and fascinating areas depicting 2,000 years of Londinium. Great Tour and I will return to High Street Kensington and walk to the Gardens in Spring/Summer as I missed most of this when I went this year..lol Samuel Johnson was correct when he wrote in 1777..!!!.. "Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."
If you do then ask for advice where to go. As a 65 year old Londoner who has loved ( nearly ) every minute in living in London's 33 Boroughs I know, like anywhere else, there are good and bad areas but it really can be a great experience studying 2,000 years of London history and in some areas/streets you have 500 year old buildings next to 100 year old dwellings next to Ultra Modern places..Enjoy !:)
Another enjoyable video. It's a drag though that all of the children that inspired Peter Pan died so tragically. Reminds me of many of the actors who started in the Little Rascal film aka Our Gang Comedy's. Many of them died tragically as well. Alfalfa was stabbed to dead.
The 'Wax Museum' in Colombo is the Royal College of Music, they may object to your dropping of the Royal! I know because my brother used to go there on Saturday mornings and my father would while away the time by walking around Kensington Gardens. Thanks for the long second toe lead, I've been trying to find info about that for some time now and that gives me a direction to look. The chestnut tree is a Sweet Chestnut of the kind we roast and eat. Great proper British banter between you and Simon too!
Love your videos. I studied English Literature & taught the language in school for 37 years. You bring this city so close to me, all the intimate details which bring it to life, with all the quirky forgotten bits... Though I am retired I hold on to the hope of visiting this great city once in my life & perhaps have a chat with you.
Absolutely brilliant! Another wonderful jaunt with our dapper mate, Joolz! Thanks again for keeping it going! I look forward to a walk with you on my Sunday mornings. Love that it rained on your walk/ride and that Lou contributed again. (Love her jewelry!!) Joolz Guides is my absolute favorite Patreon expense. Looking forward to actually meeting you in Ole Smokey! Cheers!
Love the videos! I have been missing London, so during the Christmas week I have been travelling about with you revisiting all the cool spots! Thank You from Canada. Big hugs
Hopefully you'll make it to London soon. I had the pleasure of taking a walking tour with Julian this October in Hampstead, Belsize park and Primrose Hill. He has a wealth of knowledge and trivia that bring out the history and character of the London neighborhoods. Very enjoyable!
I’ve just discovered your channel, and am now on a binge to watch all of the content, thank you very much! The many nooks and crannies of London; the history, the fun, the impeccable dress. Though my wife and I were recently in London, I wish I’d known of your videos as I would have enjoyed our visit even more. You have inspired me to return one day, hopefully sooner than later.
Always a pleasure to see you, from far away across the globe ( Aus) , on a sunny day in probably my favourite part of my favourite city in the world.....love the blazer and boater too.
Me before watching this video; "Meh, just a bunch of grass and trees just like any other park" Me after watching this video: "Who wants t go to Kensington Gardens for a day trip, it's really cool"
The Hitchcock film was The Man who Knew Too much. James Stewart and Doris Day. Pretty good film. It was a remake of a previous Hitchcock film. Cool video Thanks Joolz!
Hi, Joolzy! Greetings from dark overcast Des Moines, IA in the US Midwest. We're up to our 3rd or 4th snowfall, with it melting away rather quickly. Your little film was sunny and enjoyable. Love your sister's music, and Tom Carradine's when you choose his.
Ha! Joolz, you are a sartorial master! The best reason to wear a “real” bow-tie is definitely for that satisfying end-of-the-day tug that allows the two ends to unfurl and hang in rakish languor about your neck. Effortlessly transforming the wearer from Steve Urkel to Idris Elba.
Lovely video Joolz! I commented on an earlier video that your edits were too quick, and causing the video to feel rushed. I'm happy to see that this video is edited at a much more leisurely pace, very enjoyable!
Watching this for the second time, I realize that the music by Lil' Lost Lou fit so well that I missed it the first time. Rather brilliant, really. Oh yes, of course I enjoyed the video itself.
A friend and I once went through the ice of the Round Pond on a park bench. I also saw what I assume was a ghost around the (what is now called the Princess Diana Memorial playground) area near the Cafe in the early hours of the morning. We got locked in and I ended up in St James Park as far as I now. Ended up being giving a ride home by a friendly bobby who dropped me off at the corner so my mum wouldn't get angry at me :)
Joolz, you should have made this video earlier this year. I was at the Queen Victoria statue but somehow missed the Kensington gardens! They look gorgeous. Next time I'm taking you as my guide. 🙂

I love these guides. Takes me back when I lived in London and would walk for miles on self tours. Amazing city. Such a great storyteller
TY again, Jules. These tours are far more satisfying than reading all the time about the virus. Takes your mind off the bad stuff.
Also loved seeing the symphony hall..
The gardens were a great place for psychedelic experiences back in the day! We had many a giggle down there.

Fab video Joolz. For such a sprawling, urban metropolis, London does have some beautiful green spaces. Love the pink trousers!

Hi Joolz, I thought it was a little ironic how often you go on your walks carrying a furled umbrella, and the one time you need it........💧💦☔️
Typical
