This is a great method to be able to remove material fast on the lathe. Im using it here to machine the main assembly block of my Phone Camera Tripod Mount, that I designed and made.

That cordless powered cross feed idea is brilliant lol
Steve you really show your talent.
Hi folks, there's lots of opportunities to use small cordless tools in this hobby. I use a small cordless impact wrench to tighten and release my mill drawbar and it is a big time and frustration saver. Used like Steve has shown you get a much smother finish which is even more useful.
That is a very good idea Steve. I have a similar milling set up on my lathe. I like the little flycutter you have (and of course the " powered cross feed" )Thankyou
Thanks for sharing this project Steve. I've often thought it would be useful to have a milling attachment for my lathe, although I do have a mini Mill. Your power cross feed attachment is great. Cheers Nobby
Hi Nobby, Yes, the milling attachments are very handy and quick to use. Best Regards, Steve
Thanks Steve another handy hint.
Lovely!!!
Just broke one of the jaws on my Myford's original chuck😢
WOW 2 hours to cut a piece of plastic, 😅😅😅😅
Don't forget an hour or so to have an evening meal and watch the news.
