A few notes about the video:
1. The FF 777v2 is currently in alpha, meaning that parts of aircraft may not be representative of the final product. Bugs are expected.
2. I was given the 777 to make videos/stream it in its alpha state, and given specific access from the FF devs to be able to make videos/stream the aircraft.
3. I am still learning the 777, so if you have any suggestions please leave them below!
777-200ER v2 cool ✈️
Awesome video! Thanks for showing the 777v2, love FF products
Thanks for watching!
Given that the PMDG will have no weather radar that's one known win by FF.
Yes, it’ll be interesting to compare them once both are out! Thanks for watching!
@CenterofAviation Hopefully they release more variants and not do basepack stuff like pmdg in the old days
A lot of emphasis on graphics in all these videos but no talk of systems modeling. Are there any? Because if not PMDG will take the lead on that
I can tell you that the system modeling on this airplane is phenomenal. If you’ve ever flown any of their other aircraft like the 757 and 767, you know how good those are. This thing is miles better than those even. How would you recommend that I display the systems modeling in a future video? I’m always open to suggestions.
@@CenterofAviation you can show some engine and hydraulics modeling and the air conditioning packs
I’m worried that when PMDG comes out people will drop Flightfactor like a hot potato and it will be totally forgotten and dismissed
Hopefully people will appreciate TWO excellent 777’s
@samuelsmith2112 I’ll probably make some more in depth videos of the systems once it’s fully released, not in the alpha stage. I don’t think this plane will be dropped at all by XP fans once the PMDG comes out because the two planes are made for two different sims! Most people will stick to their favorite sim and choose the respective 777 for it because they’re both going to be great once released. I’ll probably end up making videos for both airplanes!
@@CenterofAviation I agree and each sim has a different market X plane seems to be a niche sim crowd and MSFS mainly for casual VFR and console users
But both have great 777’s
Is Aerofly FS4 any good or should I bypass that?
I don’t have any experience with AeroFly, but I do know that XP and MSFS are more advanced sims. If I remember correctly, AeroFly is known as the best mobile sim but definitely not for desktop.
How will this compare to PMDG
It’s hard to say since the PMDG 777 isn’t out yet, however we do know that both aircraft will be almost, if not the best airliner available for their respective sims. I do wonder if PMDG is able to match the amount of features that FF has regarding to ground and cabin communication. FF has really done an amazing job with their 777v2. Thanks for watching!
@@CenterofAviation PMDG was never into cabin communications and cabin announcements even in this modern PC age
PMDG is always polished and professional but it looks like FF is going deeper with the technical goodies
There’s two REALLY good planes to wait for- The Starship from Black Square and the A220 from Hotstart
Those two companies are the ultimate in study level deep tech sims
They go deeper than even PMDG whom created the standard
But- it will be great to have TWO excellent 777s on each sim
X plane is not known for visuals but they get most of the study level planes
MSFS is known for visuals but they’re starting to catch up with study level planes
Agreed, we’ll know more info once we can get our hands on PMDG’s 777!
@@samuelsmith2112While X-plane kinda catches up with visuals. Another factor will be pricing
@@Tpr_1808
Looks like they’ll probably cost the same (around $90-)
MSFS 2024 and the new X plane price will probably be similar (around $130 or $140- they’ll probably be a deluxe for MSFS)
Back in the day you had to pay $140 for a PMDG 777/ 747 for FSX and P3D
PMDG’s prices really came down since then
I think their FSX and P3 D planes had bettter goodies and sound than the MSFS versions
