    Good morning Dave
Dual purpose is always better for the consumer.
What do heavy bullets do in the Grendel? Granted, lower powder capacity and heaver weight will slow the velocity, limiting the effectiveness of expansion.

I like speed. For heavier bullet weights, (123-147 grains) and up that retain speed beyond 250 yards, I prefer the ballistic advantage of the 6.5 Creedmoor over the Grendel. Thanks for watching M.C

Old school me is a little hesitant to replace all that have been exceptional, such as their Gold Dot line of projectiles. But I do like newer "Proven" technology in rifles and reloading components.

Very good results. All things considered these seem like a bit better bullet than the Gold Dot/Fusion offering. Appreciate you providing a good demonstration of accuracy potential and explanation. W760 still a great option. My only negative with it is that SD/ES isn't great typically. But accuracy and velocity in all calibers I have used over the years have been very good.

Enjoy your videos. I lucked out and bought a bunch of the 140 grain and 190 grain impacts at auction for nearly half the price Speer has them on their website. I ended up with 500 each. The 140 6.5mm will be tested in my 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5-284 Norma, and 6.5PRC. I bought the 190s for my 300WSMs. if I recall correctly, Speer boat tails and Nosler ballistic tips were the first bullets I ever handloaded. Just not sure which was first. Speer Impacts are definitely a best kept secret. I'm hoping to try those first this fall for deer.

Check out Frontline Rejects video on testing the 172 grain version in the 30-06. They had some really good results! The bullets that they shot into water jugs at 100 to 500 yards looked great. I have some of the 190 grain to try in my 30-06 but haven’t had time yet.

@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 After looking at the ballistics (way too much lol) I think the 06 is at its best with 180-200 grain bullets. Those 190 grain Speer Impacts can be pushed at 2750 and when you run the ballistics on that it is a fantastic load for the old 06. Retains velocity and energy really well.

Dave. Another good and interesting video. Look like you are getting those loads where you want them for velocity and accuracy. Thanks for sharing and take care.

I use the Speer TnT in my .243's and 25-06. I do sort my bullets rarely having to set aside half dozen out of 500. QC at Speer really gd and the TNT line is very accurate.
    Love 760 in .243's.

If they get favorable actual field (terminal ballistics) results on animals, they probably will indeed. But the Gold Dots are less expensive and have never failed me.

@@Accuracy1st I literally had just completed my order on their site and your response came. Lol. I can’t wait to try on deer here in SC. Unfortunately here in SC where I hunt I’m more likely to kill one inside 100 yards than at long range. So it’ll be interesting to see it’s short range performance

I don't see why not. This Creedmoor got 2,770 with less than a full charge, so I suspect the 260 Rem would get more velocity.
