This method only works in cartridges that contain a built-in print head.
If the cartridge cannot be reset and errors persist, then there is a chance

Brilliant, thank you 👍 great video, saved me buying replacements as I didnt realise the top can come off. Plus excellent advice about soaking them as I'd got my printer from a friend who had had it sitting for a while and the soak really cleaned them out, changed water several times. Nice method. I just wouldn't rub the paper towel on the bottom of the ink jets. You can ruin your jets or at least get fiber bits stuck up under there.
just peal of the sticker,there should be a hole to add ink.if you open it by prying apart the lid you might damage the triangle clips that hold the cartridge in the printer.if you damage it then it might not fit back into the printer.

Welcome back, it is possible that you left the printer for a period of time without printing, which led to the blockage of the print holes (nozzles). Try placing the cartridge up to 1 cm in water from the bottom, from the side of the nozzles, for a period of time, then clean the cartridge and try printing.

My printer was working the color was off and I ran low on ink the black was filled but says it was out when it was still 75% let it just stopped working so I bought the cleaner on Amazon and now the color quit working also it says it's empty but it's probably too much in them how can I get them to start working I have filled them 1time and they were new at 5:04 $80

Both the color and black cartridges must be inserted into the printer together or it will not work. If you insert the cartridge and it does not work, it is likely that you did not install the cartridge correctly or that the contact points are damaged or not connected well (try to clean them carefully) and reinstall the cartridge and make sure of the sound of installing the cartridge in its place (click).

He just taped it back together: it's not like the edges are hermetically sealed. Better not let your full cartridges fall on their side or you will have a mess. I like this method, though. Nice to see what you are doing. I can't figure out why they don't all leak out the bottom when he fills them up with the tops all off and lets them sit there. I am used to old school HPs tho. (no longer an option) New to Canon.
I already filled the black ink in the cartridge but why it it doesnt detect on my printer theres a notif in my computer says that ..empty black ink detected..
The ink level is not detected except for the new cartridge because there is an electronic strip in the cartridge that is programmed in a way that does not allow the old cartridge to work, but despite that, it can work normally, but the lights remain on.
On my 445/6 the ink is flowing but i cant print. The inks show on the paper towel but when i send a job to print the paper comes out blank.🤕

نقاط التماس هذة هي فقط نقاط توصيل لاتوجد تحتها قطع الكترونية وتعمل على توصيل الخرطوشة بالطابعة ولكن يجب الحذر عند التعامل معها او مع راس الخرطوشة وتجنب وصول الماء الى نقاط التماس هذة ، علماً ان نوع الطابعة التي تسال عنها تحتوي خزان حبر ملون واسود ، فخرطوش الحبر لا يحتاج الى اعادة ملىء فقط تنظيف .

اخي العزيز قمت بتنظيف الخراطيش وبعدها ظهرت مشكلة انه الضوء البرتقالي يشتغل 15 مرة بالتناوب والطابعة لا تستجيب لامر الطباعة هل لديك حل من فظلك
احتمال تحتاج الى اعادة ضبط الطابعة ويكنك اتباع الخطوات التالية :
اضغط مع الاستمرار على زر الإيقاف الذي يحتوي على أيقونة المثلث عن طريق الضغط باستمرار على زر الإيقاف واضغط مع الاستمرار على زر النشغيل ايضا، ثم بعد الضغط على زر التشغيل حرر زر الإيقاف (استمر في الضغط على زر التشغيل وحرر زر الإيقاف)، أثناء الضغط مع الاستمرار على زر التشغيل ،بعد ذلك اضغط على زر الإيقاف لمدة 5 مرات، ثم حرر زرالتشغيل ، انتظر حتى يصبح الضوء الأخضر مستقرًا أو ثابتًا، بعد أن يصبح الضوء الأخضر مستقرًا تكون الطابعة الآن في وضع العمل ، اضغط فقط على زر الإيقاف لمدة خمس مرات لإعادة تعيين عداد حبر الطابعة المستهلك ثم اضغط على زر التشغيل مرة واحدة ، بعد ذلك تتم إعادة تعيين الطابعة.
You may need to reset the printer and you can follow these steps:
press and hold the stop button the one with triangle icon by holding
down the stop button press and hold the power button,then after holding the power bottom release the stop button ( Keep holding the power button and release the stop button ), while holding down the power button press the stop button for 5 times , and then release the power button , wait until the green light becomes stable or steady , after the green light becomes stable the printer is now in service mode , press only the stop button for five times to reset the printer waste ink Counter and then press the power button once , after that the printer is resetting , there you go you have manually reset your Canon printer .

فتحات الخرطوش ( النوزلات ) مسدودة بالتاكيد ، يجب عليك ان تزيد فترة النقع والتنظيف وفي حال لم تنجح الطريقة هذا يعني ان نوزلات الخرطوشة تالفة ويجب استبدال الخرطوشة .

Just an observation, but, in the title you say this is the fastest way. Can you explain how this is please as in the video you say to soak the cartridges for 6 hours! Yet on other videos and what I have done myself using syringes you can refill a cartridge in mins and without having to soak the cartridges and still acheive the same result but a hell of a lot faster!

@@greattechnical_AHthe hand drill kills me. It took me all day, literally to do the 3 colors...and i did red wrong. Not easier. And after all those holes the thing jiggles like its weak anyway. I do every craft so this i can handle. .no hand drill ever again.

It’s not fastest. It’s more complicated
My printer just read color cartridge but the black no is this methode work on black cartridge on hp f4180
First you have to install the black cartridge correctly
Then if it doesn't work, you have to reset your HP printer
by unplug the power cord from the unit. Reconnect the power cord into the unit. When the lights begin to flash, press and hold the Power and Cancel buttons. When only the On/Resume light is flashing, release the buttons.
