HOW TO REFILL YOUR PRINTER INK CARTRIDGE & SAVE MONEY. EASY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS.

- This is how I refilled my own ink cartridge for my printer. I have an HP 65, however, when I purchased my ink, it came with instructions for a different type of cartridge so I applied the same method to my cartridge and it worked. I want to share how I did this because it saves so much money & if you're like me then you are always looking for a way to be more resourceful. Plus, this is a great way to keep these cartridges out of the landfill for a while as you are able to use them up to 30 times & perhaps more!
Here is a link for some ink in the $10 price range. It comes with the syringe as well: amzn.to/3cHNGza
I did it successfully........... The trick is that you MUST use suction to pull out the ink to start the flow of the new ink. I draped a folded-over paper towel between the ink cartridge and the nozzle end of a small shopvac I had handy. Turn the shopvac on for a few seconds and it will begin to suck out the ink to begin flowing. When you see the ink starting to soil the paper towel, you can stop the shopvac and install the cartridge into the copier.
Excellent! That’s great you got it to work. It can be so frustrating. Thanks for checking out my video and commenting.
I know your video has some years since filmed. But the most effective way to fill those, is with a dedicated machine, as i have.
I like that you left in the mistakes rather than editing them out. Thanks!
Thanks so much! I appreciate your feed back. I hope this was off some help to you
You can use a hair dryer to warm enough to remove the sticker if you feel you need too. Just a thought for others that have to have it removed.
Great tip!! Thank you
@@VanzHumbleHome It works on the favorite "Pilot G-2" ink pens. Slide the needle past the wax top cover and add ink to near empty bottom tube. I will admit however that's going to result in less viscous ink during use. I can't control the formula but treat it like a fountain pen. Let sit to dry for 30 seconds or blotter paper. In the 70's, we actually were taught to right like the constitution was written, except no turkey quills. I is cheaper than buying a 10 pack of G-2 pens with a 0.7mm tip for $18. $1.50 in ink was my calculation for refilling 12 pens & 3 magic markers! Have a luck one! DK
Wow it’s way easier than I thought! Thanks for this great video!!
That's great that you found it to be easy! It's nice to know that I can be helpful! thank you for watching.

Good idea to use a vacuum. The actual vacuum tool ( specially made for this job) is £12 in England.
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback.

Your Voice is Much more Sweetier💕 than your your Instruction 👍 So to say, the Sweetest💝 of All!👌👌👌 Though I've been doing it since last SeveralYears, much before RUclips was launched(2003/4), I come across some videos who put Irritating Noise😖 they think Music!😡 Voice over is Always the Best!👍👍👍👍👍 6:37
Thanks for the compliment:) the music is pretty cringe I admit. I get lost in all the options and end up making pretty random choices. Sorry about that. I hope this vid helped u save some money on ink at least!
good video, gonna try it next time on hp 63
Nice! Be prepared to sabe some money 💵
Sabe? 😂 I meant save
Yes black is easy lets see you do a color one.
Any tips?
Is there ink for the color cartridge? Or only works for black?
i love your intro lol😂😂
Lol, thanks:) I wasn’t sure about it but I did it anyways.
How do you know the date of a HP All in One Deskjet f4180 cartridge? I have about 5 empty ones and would like to refill the most recent ones, so as i dont fill a very old one and the sponge be dried out and leak all over the printer.
Hmmm…. I’m not sure, try Google.
tor this morning you are my hero......................
Glad I could help!! Thank you
SPOT ON
Glad it helped!!
hello I have hp 1510, any ink will be okay to use? (for refill)
Hi there, yes, I think it would still work just about the same. It may be slightly different but for the most part fairly similar. I would at least try.
❤❤❤❤
Don't forget to cover the hole w/ peace of scotch tape, to keep sponge drying out..
I’m stilling having that problem that it shows little marks how can I fix it
Sometimes you have to clean the cartridge on the bottom. I put it in a very shallow amount of hot water. Just so the bottom of the ribbon on the bottom can soak. You will see where the ink comes through. Then I dry it really well and it usually is the problem. I hope you get it working! I know it’s a pain. Also, if you keep your printer on stand by mode the ink will fry up faster again if you don’t use it often. It is better to shut it off bc it should close the cartridges and they won’t fry out as fast. I rarely use my printer and I have to clean it almost every time I use it.
U don't need to remove the sticker
Hello guys my printer is not recognising the cartridge after refill what must I do please this is giving me hard time. The ink icon is blinking and I really don't understand. Please help out thanks
Hmmm…. Maybe power down and restart/ reset it. I hope that would help. Do you still have the manual? You can usually get the Manual on line as well. I would start there. I hope you get it figured out. I know what a pain printers can be.
I know this is way too long of a reply. If this still persist, hp doesnt recognize refilled cartridges. Its not a problem anyways. It would still work.
I m als facing the same problem ? Pls help me
D
Hi there! Did you found the problem I have the same. I filled out my cartridge but still didn't print. And it said the black ink still empty even it's full. Thank you
@mariakochelorov1099 it doesn't work . Hp chip is only recognized 120 prints . So after that .. hp disable the chip and the cartridge no longer works..
After filling the ink in cartiage ,printer is showing low ink ,what can I do?
Mine did the same thing. I’m not sure how to reset it but try turning it off and then back on again, maybe that will help.
Just cover one of the points
@@yabsera-d4628what ports?
What 's the need??
Ummm…. Ran outa ink. Refill like this is less expensive and less wasteful than purchasing new cartridges each time they run out. Hope that helps!
Heat the sticker with a hair dryer. Just don't overdo it.
What about the colored one-- are there THREE holes--- red, yellow and blue??
@davidwayne9982 Yes 3 holes and your correct on the colors.
Yes. Unbend a paper clip to stick in the hole to identify the color.
@@robert50173i used a toothpick in each hole. But the cartridge was so dry. I really had to shove it in. After filling with only 5ml it seems to be flowing out the bottom. So I had to syringe some out. In the video she used around 4ml it looked like even though she said ten. So I’m questioning what I did wrong. 😂
Time to watch paint dry....I laughed out loud, for real.
😂 that’s great! Thanks for letting me know! I’m glad I could put a smile on your face 😊
How do u pass the instant ink msg?
I Can't exactly remember, we moved and I have a new printer &it's just as much of a pain n I am wondering the same...
@@VanzHumbleHome so it's pointless getting the ink kit
@@iiparachuteregiment8800look up a video for your particular machine.
10ml must be too much for it. Must have overflowed
Possibly, thank you.
Printers are so so annoying
True!
