- Police are investigating after a 26-year-old man went on a violent crime spree in St. Charles and was shot and killed by another citizen early Saturday morning
People are sick and tired of criminals...People are refusing to let them get away with crap...Good job Sir...you did the right thing here.
I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about this till I know the color of the two people involved.

Sadly, in a case like this, the dead perpetrators family will probably decide to sue the good samaritan civilly, and some unscrupulous attorney (and there are a lot out there) will gladly take the case. The hero citizen could ultimately be financially ruined for doing the right thing. Its a f**ked up system that we have.
