- Police in Florida say a home invasion was foiled when the homeowner fought back. The Escambia County Sheriff says three men approached the front door of a home. When the homeowner opened the door, cops say two of the men pushed their way inside. Video from the homeowner’s doorbell cam shows the third man go inside and then all three men run away from the home as the homeowner fired a gun at them. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Pleading not guilty at the initial hearing is standard. They hope that the prosecutor will reduce or eliminate some charges in agreement for a subsequent guilty plea. The prosecutor and judge don't want to spend time going to trial in most cases, so they often oblige.

It always amazes me what rich ppl get off with with a good lawyer . A cop can arrest you for anything , but it holding up in the court of law is a total different story. In this case with a good lawyer if the camera glitches a little or audio messes up with a good lawyer could argue it’s been “tampered “ with an therefore not permitted as legal evidence against the case lol crazy world .
That's why you land the shot, no court case to plea. Morbid but it's a joke.
It's more or less a requirement to initially plead not guilty while evidence is gathered and adequate legal representation is found for defendants. Innocent until proven guilty is for all and always. Also removes avenues of appeal if they attempt it in the future.

This is exactly why citizens should continue to be permitted to own firearms. Notice how the one with a firearm was a felon, meaning he had to obtain the gun through illegal means. Bad people will find a way to do bad things, regardless of laws and regulations. Being able to defend yourself, your loved ones and your home, especially when outside help can't arrive in time, is essential.

These type of videos shows why self defense is really important. You never know what’s going to happen until you see it.
The instincts have to be there and it has to be decided beforehand for sure. Some degenerate tried to get into our car not to long ago with my family and I in it. Luckily the doors were locked. I had not expected it and was confused for a few moments. I was completely unready. Lesson learned.

Replay for some key charges: One was a felon, with a stolen gun, committing another crime. He already did time for a felony and is back doing it again. Prison is adult daycare at this point. Anyone that can break into a home can break rocks. Sentences shouldn’t be in years, it should be in metric tons.
