I decided to make a video on my top ten games of 2023 list I did recently on Twitter, both so that I could go into more detail on my thoughts and also so I can see how I do with RUclips content.
I'm well aware this video could be a lot better and I need to get better with talking for so long as there's a lot of moments I noticed I either moved away from the mic or spoke too fast or slightly mispronounced something. I'm sure it's something I could get better at in time, though if you have any other feedback please leave it, I appreciate tips.

Also I'm aware the outro speech has no footage over it lol, for some reason that didn't render but it is my fault for not checking before I uploaded it. I'll make sure there's no mistakes like this next time.

Some feedback:
- even if you want to keep a chill profile speak louder in the mic, it will come out clearer (and since I read your tweet: it'll make hate your voice less)
- When you render, I suggest you do so in 4k, even if your footage is 1080p. RUclips compresses the f out of 1080p native videos and it'll add compression artifacts (not that the quality of this one sucks, but I can tell there's compression where you didn't have it offline)

2023 was easily one of the BEST EVER years for gamers of all tastes and on all platforms. Every month had a slate of great releases, so you did well to narrow that down to ten titles. Always nice to hear the opinions of someone who knows what they are talking about. For a first video this was decent and I'm sure with a little practice you will become more comfortable with both writing and performing.

Good video my man. I might exagerate but i mean it. Turbo Overkill and Robocop are easily two of the greatest fps games i ever played in 2023. It's been a fantastic year for fps games. Trepang2 deserves a honorable mention too.

Great first vid, much better than mine was many, many moons ago. There's plenty of room for improvement with things like editing and using captured gameplay footage, though I appreciated the little details you included like the jingle for each game and the bin clip. As you get used to hearing your own voice you'll master how to pace yourself when reading scripts and reach what I guess I'd call a 'presentation tone' you're consistently happy with. The same thing will happen as you edit vids more and more. You sort of discover your own video style, and this was a promising start!
Honestly I'd be just fine with 2024 being bereft of excellent games because 2023 has overdelivered and I need gaps if I'm ever going to catch up.

My only suggestion is less trailer footage with text
Or just cut those parts out and have more continuous gameplay

Great stuff overall man! My only real feedback I'd say mainly regards audio mixing (there's a few points, particularly early on where it feels the music overlaps your voice. Also, during the RoboCop section around 13:40 the footsteps are noticibly louder then your voice LOL). That and I do feel your voice could be a bit more enthusiastic. This ain't too much of a fault since really this is something everyone struggles with early on, since you obviously aren't used to talking in such a manner for a long period of time but don't be afraid to push that "Speech" voice for the future, yknow? Also, more of a nitpick I can't get too upset at since you DID mention it early on but I would try to do a bit more next time to at least edit out logos/title cards for trailers when you use that for footage. Using trailers aren't bad at all (I do it a lot) but IMHO it's really distracting when you see those title/end cards, on top of it just looping from the beginning again. Using other trailers/pulling gameplay from other videos with permission would help negate that sort of visual repetition if you cleverly edit around that, but again I can't fault it too much since you did address it early on and especially IF this is your real first time editing and you're learning how the software works and such still. Even still, great stuff!
Also, big agree regarding PL/2.0's vehicle combat. I didn't mind doing Mumar's contracts whenever they came up on my map since I find them consistently enjoyable despite the obvious repetition but it really does feel like they kind of just exist to actually have something to do with the system outside of when you get a wanted level. I kinda wish CDPR at least sprinkled some more opportunities throughout the basegame to partake in it instead of just locking you out of it since as is it feels like you barely use it.
*Fun little thing; in my effort to push the systems as much as possible during my playthrough, I WAS actually able to bug the game in some quests to allow me to use vehicle combat in areas where i shouldn't (Namely the races in The Beast in Me with Claire) by loading the last checkpoint passed during the race. However, it made me able to use EVERY weapon I had on me, not just one-handed ones like the game should (meaning I could technically drive-by with my iconic double-barrel shotgun LOL). And even when I had a weaponized vehicle with missiles and entered the race with that, I was only able to actually destroy a few vehicles, as the ones that typically get in the higher spots are invulnerable from what I can tell.

I think I had that same glitch happen to me lol, but I only used one handed weapons so it seemed normal to me
I'll probably end up my using my own footage next time but since this was such a big video I felt like it made more sense to just use trailers to save time this once, but yeah I could've edited the logos out

Yes I added them in the description according to how RUclips says it adds them, not sure if it's just delayed in adding them or not working but you can use those timestamps if the video bar isn't showing them
