I really think Seventeen and Stray Kids will 100% get more popular in America and in general, but I think Stray Kids are more likely. Differently think BIGHIT'S new boy group will be something to compensate for BTS' enlistments and become super popular but not just cause they're from BigHit. I REALLY hope ASTRO don't disband, I know Eunwoo is doing really well, but I hope they get a big break soon. I think a smaller group like ATEEZ or Weki Meki will start to join the higher ranks + smaller companies might have more spotlight. Lastly, MAMAMOO will finally be noticed and I think they have enough potential to become giant in America and join twice, red velvet, and Blackpink in popularity.

Any celebrity who tries to avoid enlistment recieves heavy backlash Korean GP, coz serving the required military time is their responsibility. If normal people are mandated to serve, celebrities shouldn't get any special treatment just coz they're rich and famous. So even if bighit could, they shouldn't and wouldn't. Even when some politicians brought up exemption for artists like BTS, bighit had to release a statement saying BTS don't want exemption, coz they were receiving so much backlash over the topic just being brought up.

YG is grooming Blackpink to essentially become 2Ne1 2.0, making them solid hitmakers as a group fast, then force them to have individual careers, just like how he did with 2ne1’s career. In my opinion, Blackpink’s career isn’t as strong as any of their more popular peer girl groups, like Red Velvet, Twice, Mamamoo and Gfriend. 2ne1 was the same way when they were a group, their career wasn’t as strong as their peers as well, like SNSD, Apink and miss A, despite miss A has disbanded within the past year or two. This is YG’s way of getting rid of his girl groups. He did it with 2ne1 in 2016, he will do it again with Blackpink within the next 2 to 4 years. Blackpink debuted in 2016, now it’s 2018 (which would make it a little over 2 years) and in 4 years would make it 6 total years. In my opinion, 2022 would be the year that Blackpink would officially disband, where the following possibilities may occur: Lisa might not renew her YG contract and join a different label, maybe small and independent; Jisoo may change her artist’s contract to an entertainer’s contract, becoming a TV Presenter; Jennie will most likely continue with YG as a solo artist and Rosé may decide that the Kpop Idol career and life may no-longer be of interest to her and leave the industry entirely. Blackpink isn’t being treated fairly in YG and they’ll eventually might disband completely.
To be honest I feel like YG was lying about the other member solo tracks just so he could get people to stop hating on Jennie’s solo.
I’m fairly certain if the solo tracks exist at all, they won’t be released next year. This isn’t the first time YG has lied about artists getting solos or comebacks and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he doesnt follow through again.
