- I obviously don't want the bad ones to happen but these are just my predictions for 2019 and that doesn't mean that they will come true. It is just what I think will happen.

I REPLY BACK TO SO MANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE SAME THINGS SO I AM JUST GONNA PUT IT HERE:
(edit: this video was posted before Jennie's interview where she stated that Blinks should be excited for BlackPink in 2019. So yes I do know about the interview but this video was posted before it so BlackPink will be releasing more music in 2019.)
I make my predictions based on multiple things:
1st: rumors in the K-Pop fandom (some rumors have been going on forever that they might actually be true)
2nd: the way idols behave (such as Twice continuously saying they want a girl crush concept which is why I predict they will do a girl crush concept in 2019)
3rd: events that had/have big impact (such as Hyuna and E'Dawn's dating "scandal", China and Korea relations currently, more LGBTQ+ people coming out, and company issues)
4th: the fact that k-pop is becoming more popular WorldWide (which is why I predict that there will be more english speaking members in k-pop and also the non-asian person debuting in a group)
So every one of the predictions is based off of one of these 4 things.
There are currently issues going on with China and Korea which is why I think Lay will leave EXO,
I think two members of a group will come out and say they are dating due to more people in the entertainment business coming out and also Hyuna and E'Dawn are proving that its okay to date,
I think SM will release a girl group that has a girl crush concept because that style is popular these days and NCT is more of a hip-hop style so SM might try to create a female version of NCT,
I think f(x) will have a comeback because it has been rumored since May that they will have a comeback in 2019,
I think Heechul will get married because he keeps talking about how he is getting older and how he wishes he was married with kids,
Pristin will have a spring comeback because Pledis already said that they are working on a Pristin comeback and I think spring because Seventeen is gonna be working in December/January and Nu'est will be making their first comeback with all the members probably in February or March,
Hyuna and E'Dawn will debut in a duo group because they already were popular in Triple H and Hyuna was hella popular in her old duo group Troublemaker,
Joy is rumored to already be filming a drama that will be released in 2019 so I think it will become popular and she will get more into acting,
I think Daniel is too popular to be in a group so his company might debut him as a solo artist and I think he will win a lot of awards,
Somi is set to debut from YG in early 2019 so I think it will be very successful cause she is already super popular in Korea and internationally,
Irene is the oldest member of Red Velvet (she is 27) so I think something will happen with her being in a relationship because idols being in a relationship is gradually becoming more and more acceptable,
Due to K-Pop becoming more popular in America I think SM will take that opportunity to debut an English unit of NCT,
I think something will happen with Taeyeon and Baekhyun due to the rumors that they never actually broke up,
Seventeen has been around for a couple years so I think there will be a dating scandal with one of the members,
Seventeen and Monsta X are best friends and are both popular internationally so they will most likely collab at K-Con or at an Award Show,
I don't want Astro to disband but I think they might because they are becoming more popular in their solo jobs and also their company is having issues,
Several of the SNSD members have been in relationships for several years so it is about time that they get married which is why I guess it will happen in 2019,
Lots of Little Mix songs have actually gone to K-Pop groups and lots of idols know Little Mix and they love their music which is why I think there will be a collab between Little Mix and a Kpop artist,
BTS is super popular in America and they are best friends with Got7 so they will probably wanna collab with them at an award show in America,
Twice is super popular in Korea and internationally so I feel like they might release an English track due to kpop becoming more and more popular among English speakers,
RV, Twice, and BP will collab because they are the most popular girl groups in Korea at the moment,
Jinyoung will be in a dating "scandal" because no GOT7 member has been in a public relationship and as I have said before idols being in a relationship is gradually becoming more and more normal,
MoMoLand has gained attention due to Bboom Bboom and Bam so I think they will release a song in 2019 that will become hella popular again,
Stray Kids will win SOTY due to them only being rookies currently but already being very popular so I think that by next year they will be even more popular and they will win SOTY,
Loona is also already very popular despite being rookies so I think they will have a very successful comeback,
Beyonce tends to collab with whoever is popular at the moment and currently that is BTS so I think Beyonce and BTS will collab because she knows it will help her career and it will help their career.

Tay-tor tot I agree with the fact that Skz may have a chance of winning the SOTY. They are already nominated for Album Daesang in GDA for their album I'M WHO along with their great sunbaes. That's crazy!!!😁

Idk if it's a group comeback, something to do with tour, or just she is saying to be excited about solo debuts and comebacks lol. Soo yeah 💕👌

2. NCT China will not be hyped as much as the other units
3. BAP will leave their label and embark on solo careers.
4. WinWin will still not have enough lines.
5. Bigbang will make a dynamic come back before Seungri gets enlisted.
6. Got7 will become more popular overseas.
7. A group, other than BTS, will perform at the AMAs. Preferably MonstaX or NCT 127
8. SVT and Stray kids will become popular in America.
9. WINNER OR iKON will comeback with a single summer bop.
10. We will see more of Park Bom solo.

I love most of these but I don’t think we should encourage the use of the word * « scandal* » when talking about someone in their 20’s or 30’s dating. The relationships you predicted here will be beautiful if they happen.
I only used scandal because it is a term that is often used when announcing something big. (it is often used in k-pop announcements) I agree that a new term should be used when talking about relationships but for now scandal is what is often used so i decided to use it here too because I didn't wanna confuse anyone.
honestly I'm all for finding out a member from any group is in a relationship. They're humans and I hate the whole dating ban but tbh a lot of these groups probably already had the dating ban taken off of them. But just because they aren't dating publically doesn't mean they aren't dating. I hope all the best for the new couple and I hope their company doesn't pull a Cube on them. Or pull an Elf on them. And yes, I'm hella bitter over both things. anyone who disagrees can fight me. Hyojong & Hyuna deserve love just like Sungmin & Saeun deserve love. Currently there are issues going on with China and K-Pop and because Lay is VERY popular in China and he is also an idol in Korea I feel like he might have to choose between the two careers @@lilithijk.
