Why I STOPPED Wearing Deodorant (You Won't Believe This!)

  • Let me make this clear I am not against wearing deodorant. I simply noticed after a week or two of not wearing it I didn't have an odor. This was a few years after removing meat, dairy, eggs, and other animal products from my diet. Also after doing my full-body detox on my website a few times.
Body odor is waste leaving the body and often that waste has accumulated in the body over a longer period of time. The accumulation of waste leads to toxicity which causes dysfunction and inflammation. In this video, I'll talk about that but also explain why the majority of deodorants contain heavy metals and cancer-causing chemicals. So I'll give you a few tips on how to choose the right deodorant.

I'm seventy four years old and I haven't used deodorant for about thirty five or forty years. I have not taken the time to do thorough research on the matter. I simply felt that to apply a chemical to your body that's strong enough to interfere with natural body function and then to do this every day of my life is madness. Now that I've heard your video I'll be able to explain it, thank you.

My daughter and I use baking soda and coconut oil. Put it right into the deodorant stick and let it solidify. This thing is magic and my daughter used to have strong body order. WE can go 2, even 3 days without applying again. And you can apply literally a dab.
Have to edit due to some of the comments. I am not advocating applying this deodorant to funky armpits or not showering. You can still wash up without touching your armpit, and clean the rest of your body. In the shower, obviously, your going to wash it off so you have to reapply. The point is this deodorant is so strong it can last you that amount of time if needed for any reason.

This is done 100% intentionally. Back in like 1890's they gave babies teething powder which added mercury, lead, and aluminum. They found out they could give babies Autism that is why they added to all the shots and now everyone is in such a terrible state of health. The government is not our government. The weirdest thing happened kinda accidentally. Most of the women on my mother's side gray early and I started seeing strands by my early 20s. Every 3 to 4 weeks I was dying my hair on top of my other styling services. When all the hair salons were mandated to cease all operations and I was unable to get there I was just washing my hair at home. About a month and a half in my hair & scalp went through all kinds of changes/withdrawal symptoms like a junkie jonesing for a fix i.e. excessive itching, sweating, and my thirst was through the roof. Going through all this made me wonder what on earth is in the crap? Ironically enough I look younger in the face and my complexion cleared up. I'm on a roll now (& Thnx 2 u) I'm more than open to discontinuing using crappy, chemical ladened deodorant. Btw, your eyes, skin, and teeth are beautiful. Stay Blessed!👍🏾✝️😊

I just ordered your 28-detox so I’m excited. I transitioned from regular deodorant to natural deodorant about 3 1/2 years ago, it was an interesting process because I had to go for a while without any deodorant to apparently detox my underarms. I was extremely irritated but I read that it was natural. After about 3 weeks or so I was finally able to start trying natural deodorants, which was a process in itself. I found 2 that work and I never looked back. What that showed me was that what I thought the purpose of deodorant was, wasn’t so. Now I’m excited to get to a place of eliminating it completely but I know I have to do more cleansing and detoxing work before I get there.

I've noticed that I've never had underarm odor because I've always worn deodorant. I went a few days without deodorant and was like, oh no, that's me. It did take a few days. It would be nice to see if showering, while alone, without using deodorant, will not produce odor at the end of the day. Natural deodorant is so expensive. We have just been brainwashed to use deodorant. Maybe just fragrant oil will work, or lotion. Experiment is on. Thank you. May you be financially blessed. I love my deodorant but I don't like having itchy underarms at the end of the day. I sweat all over but not excessively in the arm pit. The deodorant must be helping. I've just never gone without it. I think we need to smell good because too many people are going around musty like being upset at the world with attitudes is not already too much. Since we can smell good and not hurt each other with forced and broken sins, we should. It's 2023 and there should be some indication of the kingdom heaven arriving on earth, in Jesus name.

Several mos ago I started using aluminum free crystal mineral rock as deodorant several, however, before that I would just use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution on a cotton pad under my arms because it does a great job, arguably better than deodorant, and I know exactly what’s in it🤷🏽‍♀️ I also take chlorophyll daily to rid myself of internal odors to help with funky breath, vaginal hygiene, as well as any other body odor. I don’t wear deodorant and I haven’t worn deodorant for years. I have never got to complaint about being musty, and I have a very sensitive nose, so I would be honest with y’all if I was musty. My under arms are also a very even color with the rest of my skin and I do not get breakouts or bumps or anything like when I used to use scented deodorant growing up.
I remember watching Dr. Oz several years ago and one of his guests mentioned that women getting breast cancer is likely the result of aluminum in deodorant and they came to that conclusion based on where the tumors & the cancer started in the breast, which was really close to where the under arm is. I’ve been scared every since.🙄🤷🏽‍♀️

I've also been a vegetarian since 1984 and vegan since 2018. I was born in 1970 and as a child it seemed no one wore deodorant. It was the heavily marketed in the 1980's and I feel for this, wearing it daily. When I stopped I accepted there would be some degree of body odour. Maybe because my diet was quite healthy - even more so now, there odour was mild and I liked it as it felt natural. A friend told me a few years ago he doesn't use deodorant either - just fresh lemon under his arms. I tried this myself [mixed with some water to dilute it], and it makes any sweat odourless.

I also put natural detox pads on my feet at night to detox. I have two cavities made with metal that I have had for sixty years so I Know this affects my health. No one needs to eliminate meat, dairy or sugar from their diet completely.
Moderation is key. If you're eating lean meats, getting most of your sugar intake from whole food sources like fruit, and not consuming super high fat dairy in large quantities, then you'll be absolutely fine. The ONLY thing that matters is consistency with diet over the long haul, you can't "detox" and quickly clear your body of "toxins" from long periods of bad eating, that isn't a real thing

Wow! When we were young we were taught body cleansing habits, which included using deodorant. As kids, we would turn our nose up at others who exhibited body odors. I'm now a 69-year old female and have been wearing deodorants for over 55 years. About the last 20 years, I have since evolved to using what I consider a deodorant that has the least chemicals and hasn't appeared to create problems for me (Tom's, unscented, no aluminum, no parabens). But thanks to this video, after recently completing your 28-day detox and following a plant-based lifestyle, now I plan to step it up a notch and forego using deodorant starting tomorrow to see how my body reacts. I am expecting great results and to save a little money too! Thanks again Dr. Bobby!! (:>)

Fresh squeezed lemon juice is my go-to because it will introduce vitamin c into the axillary ( fancy word for armpit area). Of course one can't be rough when washing this area or the lemon juice will sting). Warmer weather can be a little challenging because of sweating but health is worth the extra effort.

in the office complained also: they got a white stain, also impossible to wash out. All in graphics, we used extreme arm movements, but one guy stopped using, and wore a high quality
face cologne instead. Women copied, and we smelled better than ever & didn't ruin our clothes. Great video! Thanks!

Dr Price. Great explaination on an overlooked topic. I have been using lime for years with great results. At first it will burn slightly but the body adjusts quickly to lime juice under the arms. Once again. Thanks alot for your most important health discussions

I tried lime first and i found lemons worked best for me. Everyone body chemistry is a little bit different so i figured that's why the likes didn't work as well. I have to reapply the like juice if i got sweaty. Or maybe the likes did majority of the detoxing already by the time I got around to switching to lemons. But it seems the lemons last all day if i Sweat, i have no smell and i don't have to apply everyday like i did with the limes. Either way. Super simple, no needing to keep a product on order i can just pick up with the rest of my weekly produce or grab fresh from a tree. It also has been a stress reducer in different ways for me. Not needing to worry if my deodorant is making me sick, not needing to read a label. I just cut half a lemon, squeeze a little juice on my hand and run into my armpit then squeeze the rest of the lemon into my water for the day and have lemon water all day.

@@tjeezy2875just squeeze the juice into your hand and rub it into your armpits. Personally lemons work better for me but either one is great. Some people find the lime juice by itself is too strong so you can dilute with a small amount of water if you need.

I have been vegetarian most of my adult life and have always drank chlorophyll and taken spirulina for vitamin B. Also by accident I discovered that my body didn't need deodorant when I would forget to put it on from time to time and realize I would not get musty. Now I see and understand the connection. Thank you so much!!!

Spirulina if those are the green little, small pills were a disaster for me. I tried them twice and vomited constantly felt great after feeling like I was going to die. Both times.

I quit using deodorant years ago....after reading "Possible" link to cancer. Having lost 3 older siblings to cancer, I decided to stop using deodorant. It seamed to take a while for my body to adjust, but after a few weeks, I noticed that I didn't have issues with odours under my arms at all. I also quit drinking sodas, diet or otherwise. I mainly drink water all the time now. I used to have chronic migraines, those went away after I quit drinking sodas and eliminated artificial sweeteners.....no more low fat foods, no more pre-made food from freezer section the grocery store. I've managed to lose a lot of weight (125 lb ) just by doing that. I still eat well, I don't have to starve myself. I continue to slowly lose weight just by eating foods that come from a farm instead of a factory.

Exactly what you’re saying happened when I became a vegetarian (semi veg, I still had occasional cheese, eggs). I had b12 deficiency though and went back to eating meat steadily. I recently bought some liquid b12 and really want to try it again. Could you do a vid for some of us on this-having similar issues, or other ones we may need to be aware of? Is that in your book? I love your eloquence in discussing health/healing..I’ll search through your vid playlist though. Interesting but I’d the same experience of very low if no body odor, and none in the bathroom either. I’ve not heard anyone discuss this as you have, but I was aware of this change via experience…thanks so much❤!

I've been vegan now for 6 yrs, 5 months, and 28 days, to be exact. I stopped wearing deodorant about 3 yrs, into my vegan life. Not only do I not wear deodorant when working out, I no longer chew gym(because of workout breath).
